Today I am going to talk about the first period in Section A of Unit 9Can you come to my party? My presentation consists of four parts:Analysis of the Teaching Material, the Teaching Methods ,the studying ways and the Teaching ProcedureI. Analysis of the teaching materiali)Status and functionThis unit is aiming at talking about__make, accept and decline invtiations____The materials in talking are mostly from the recent real life and are familiar to students, so they are very interested in it. A series of questions and a big picture areused to attracts students’ Andattentionlistening. and pair-work are alsoused in this period.ii) Teaching aims and demands1. Knowledge ObjectsIn this lesson, Ss should master the new words :___prepare, exam another___At the same time, they should know how to use this sentence “Can you come to my paryt ?” and know how to answer it.2. Ability ObjectsIn this lesson, I ’ ll mainly train the Ss listening and speaking abilities and develop the Ss communication by learning the useful structures.3. Moral ObjectsFrom this lesson, the Ss should learn how to ______ make, accept and decline invtiations ____.4. Teaching keys and difficultiesAccording to the teaching aims, I think the focus of this lesson is the new expressions and help the Ss to communicate with each other. The difficulty is to help the Ss make conversations freely using the target language.5．Teaching aidsA multimedia computer and a blackboard6Analysis of the studentsThe Ss have learned English for one and a half years, they can express their thought and communicate with each other with English well. And all the Ss will be interested in the topic about their past experience, which is related to their real life. It’s helpful for our study of this lesson.Ⅱ.Teaching methods( In this topic,I will use five-step Teaching Method and Task-based language Teaching.Idesign some tasks to help the students learn.I think if I want to improve the students’oral English,I should give them enough chances to practice and I will use pair work,group work to let the students take an active part in all kinds of activities.That is“ Learningby doing,learning by using”.Let the students be the masters of the classteaching,thus,student-centered teaching method is well shown.)Ⅲ ． the studying waysIn order to guide the Ss better, develop the Ss ’ abilities, in thw i sll le arnsson,howthetoSsbe a good language learner, and how to communicate with others. Ss try to answer the questions.Purpose of my designing: I think it is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss and at the same time it is necessary to provide situations to review learned knowledge.Step 2 Presentation1.引学生看大屏幕上邀及两个答。

Ss work in pairs and answer the questions.Purpose of my designing: This part is very important. I think it is much easier for the Ss tolearn if I present the key structures one by one and they can master the structures quickly bydoing this.Step 3Pair-workFirst play the tape recorder. Let the Ss listen and imitate the dialogue. Pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation. In this step the Ss are required to practise the Sample in pairs by reading the dialogue aloud. This step is employed to make the Ss grasp the Sample .At last I'll ask the Ss to think hard and actit out with a partner according to Sample A. Then find out which group will act it out well. I'll give them red stars.Purpose of my designing: This step is employed to make the Ss get the general idea of thedialogue as a whole one. At the same time let the Ss have a chance to practise their listening and spoken ability.Step4Listening practiceAsk Ss to open their books and turn to Page 65. Look at part 1b, Explain the chart and make surethe students understand the chart and what to do.Then play the tape for three times. For the first time the students only listen to understand the whole general meaning of the conversations. For the second time the Ss pay attention to the activity ineach conversation and write them. For the third time the Ss pay attention to the time that theactivities in each conversation are done and write them down .Ask some Ss to write their answers on the Bb and check them.Purpose of my designing: It gives Ss practice in understanding the target language in spoken conversations.Step5. GroupworkAsk the Ss to work in groups of six. (布置任) 1 Say, one of you is student A. Student A invites theother three students to your party. The other students say or“ no.Rememb”“y e sr”to give a reason.2.Have the students work in groups.3.Let some groups ask and answer about their conversations.Purpose of my designing：This activity provides the Ss a chance to use English freely. They can say the conversation according to their thought using the target language. Another, I change the parts ’order of the text book, because this part can be delayed to the end of the class.
