艺术生如何玩转高考英语作文
近年来，随着高考英语越来越倾向生活化、实用性，作文的主题也越来越贴近生活。
其中一个特别频繁出现的主题就是“中国的传统文化”。
而在这个大的主题之下，“中国传统节日”又无疑是一个艺术生高考历年来高频出现的话题。
绝大多数艺考生在文化课冲刺期间对于这个话题都是又爱又恨。
一方面，对于从小一直耳濡目染的中国传统文化，考生们都有话可说；但另一方面，很多特定的相关表达又让艺术生难以下手。

中秋节（Mid-Autumn Festival）
在每年的农历八月十五日（August 15th of lunar calendar）。
在以前古代的时候，这一天是人们庆祝丰收（celebrate the harvest）和向月亮表达自己的敬意（pay homage to the moon）的神圣日子。
中秋一词最早出现在《周礼》中的《礼记·月令》“仲秋之月养衰老，行糜粥饮食”。
演变到今天，这一天成为了亲人朋友欢乐相聚（reunion）一起赏月（enjoy the full moon）的节日。
在这一天，家人朋友会围聚（gather）一起分享月饼（mooncakes）以此来寓意家人朋友的团团圆圆。
除了各式口味的月饼，还有好吃的桂花饼（Osmanthus cake）、桂花糖（Osmanthaus candy）、桂花酒（Osmanthaus wine）等桂花制作的食物及饮品让大家在赏月之时嘴巴里也甜甜蜜蜜的。
中秋节这天的活动可不少。
除了祭月、赏月、拜月，放孔明灯（Kongming Latern）来祈福也是其中的一种。
通常大家会把心愿写在孔明灯上，然后点火放飞到空中，借此来许下心愿。
然而现在因为安全的问题，国内已经在限制这项活动的开展。
不过和家人朋友一起逛花灯（festival latern）、猜灯谜（lantern riddles）仍是一项其乐融融，必不可少的传统项目呢。
说到中秋节，不得不提一个在中国广为流传的神话故事（mythology）——嫦娥奔月（Chang’e flying to the moon）。
传说嫦娥因为吃了长生不老药（elixir of immortality），奔月成仙，住在了广寒宫（moon palace）里，成为了月神（goddess of the moon）。
尽管这个故事有很多不同的版本（versions），但都是中国古代人民丰富想象力的一种记载。
