本课时其主要内容是教授一些描述人物外貌的单词 young、old、tall、short、strong、thin、kind、 funny以及询问人物外貌及其回答的句子“Who is your art teacher ?”“What’s he like?“He is tall and thin.”那么在这8个单词当中，tall,short是三年级下册 Unit 6要求的三会单词，thin,strong 在四年级上册 Unit3 要求的三会单词，funny,old在前几册中也出现 过。总之，这六个单词对学生来说比较简单。针对这 种情况,我采用由易到难、由旧句型学习新知识的教学 策略，以此来降低学生理解及表达的难度。
