怎样做自由译者
怎样做中国的自由译者不久前，我转贴了国外的《走近自由译者》一文。
有人说：“可中国的翻译的价格比外国的可低多了。
如果当一个完全的自由翻译，可能比较难，尤其是英语的”。
也有人转贴了《“职业杀手”是这样炼成的》，其中不无道理。
但我不喜欢用“职业杀手”这样的说法。
最近的一个月，经常有翻译公司找我，大约半个月就有近三十家和我联系，我接了一部分，因为同时找的人太多，也婉拒了其他的一些公司。
我做了翻译方向为英中、德中、德英、中英和日英的，做了压铸模、专利、海底挖泥船、陶瓷微孔膜、水处理系统、传感器、Motivation （推动,机能）、电气安装、风力发电等各方面题材的译稿。
还有人和我预约五一长假后的译稿。
收获不可谓不丰。
《走近自由译者》一文中说：“译者、翻译爱好者或与我打交道的人问我，自由译者是如何谋生的？怎样才能成为专业的译者？怎样才能获得成功？等等，” 我在《译心译意》网注册好几个月了，网站的编辑也希望我写一点体会。
现在，五一已过，刚好有一点时间，我将自己不成熟的经验和体会写出来，供译友们参考。
（一）自由译者的一天我喜欢早起，每天6时左右起床。
起来后的第一件事是查邮件，看翻译公司和朋友们有没有事找我。
再就是打开Msn和QQ。
现在的即时通是和翻译公司联系的最佳途径。
即使再忙也不要断了和外部世界的联系。
接下来的时间可有多种安排，这取决于那天有多少工作量、完成工作的时限。
现在我一一说明。
工作量大的时候，检查完邮件我就会在电脑前工作，直至工作完成，或至少达到那天工作量的要求。
我接到任务都会统计下源文件的长度，并算出每天的工作量，然后每天完成比那多一点。
翻译时，碰到有疑问的词句，我会用Google、百度或Yahoo查找，暂时解决不了的先标红，等翻译完进行校对时再说。
因为，在开始译一篇文件时，往往对原文的意义不太了解，但到译完后或译到一定段落时就会明白它的意义。
工作量不大的时候，我也会在完成当天的工作后，再去寻找更多的任务，也就是发邮件给翻译公司或到《译心译意》网寻找新的工作来源。

4、Employer’s E ntitlement to Termination
The Employer shall be entitled to terminate the Contract, at any time for the Employer’s convenience, by giving notice of such termination to the Contractor. The termination shall take effect 28 days after the later of the dates on which the Contractor receives this notice or the Employer returns the Performance Security. The Employer shall not terminate the Contract under this Sub-Clause in order to execute the Works himself or to arrange for the Works to be executed by another contractor.
After this termination, the Contractor shall proceed in accordance with Sub-Clause 15.3 [Cessation of Work and Removal of Contractor’s Equipment] and shall be paid in accordance with Sub-Clause 18.6 [Optional Termination, Payment and Release].
