2.He said that it wasn't funny, but I saw him smile!他说那不可笑,但是我看到他笑了!1)本句中but作为连词,把两个句子并列连接起来。

相连的两个句子具有转折关系。

例如:I like apples, but I don’t like bananas. 我喜欢吃苹果,但不喜欢香蕉。

2)句中“that it wasn’t funny”是said 的一个宾语从句。

例如:He said that he would come. 他说他要来。

3.Time for supper! 到吃晚饭的时候了!本句是省略句,完整形式应是:It’s time for sup per.It’s time for sth. 表示是做某事的时间了。

例如:It’s time for sleep. 到睡觉的时间了。
