He was a young man in his childhood. He was kept in a high wall and in the courtyard. He was not exposed to the outside world, and his knowledge was poor. He studied hard in his youth and was dissatisfied with the teaching of private schools at that time. He went out to study. When he wrote these works, lu xun ate all kinds of hardships, and the reactionary forces oppressed him, but he persevered and tried to save the hearts of the masses. Other situations may develop between two friends that stem from jealousy, desire for revenge, uncaring parents, etc. Emily Bront?#39;s Wuthering Heights displays several characteristics of destructive relationships. Three of these are uncaring parents, marriage without knowing the person, and jealousy.Uncaring or unsympathizing parents are shown throughout this story to be an element of destructive relationships. Because Heathcliff gained all the attention from Mr. Earnshaw, Hindley became disassociated from his father. This separation continued until after Mr. Earnshaw had died.Another example is between Hindley and Hareton. Hindley became such a drunk and a gambler that he could not properly care for young Hareton. This led to a separation between Hareton and his father as well. One primary example of an uncaring parent is shown between Heathcliff and his son Linton.Heathcliff did not even want his son for anything except enacting a part of his revenge. 英文名著读后感1I believe that one of the factors that makes a piece of literature or even a movie a masterpiece is how well the reader can relate to the story. This is definitely a book everyone can relate to.The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a literary masterpieces, written in 1876 by the famous author Mark Twain. Tom Sawyer is a mischievous young boy who lives in the small town on the Mississippi River called St. Petersburg. The story line is simple, the book reads like a biography or a memoir of a summer in Tom Sawyers life.It is a story filled with action, adventure,, ingeniousideas, love, and schoolyard politics. The whole story is seemingly a complication of what people did or wish they did during their childhood. The book is a little difficult to read at first. Personally,it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book. Other than referring to persons of African decent in derogatory terms (which Im sure uses terms even young children already know),the book would be an enjoyable read for people of all ages. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to feel young again,if just for a few hundred pages.英文名著读后感2Many people simply regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, this book is an illustration of the society at that time. She perfectly reflected the relation between money and marriage at her time and gave the people in her works vivid characters. The characters have their own personalities. Mrs. Bennet is a woman who makes great efforts to marry off her daughters. Mr. Bingley is a friendly young man, but his friend, Mr. Darcy, is a very proud man who seems to always feel superior. Even the five daughters in Bennet family are very different. Jane is simple, innocent and never speaks evil of others. Elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. Mary likes reading classicbooks. (Actually she is a pedant.) Kitty doesn’t have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and issomehow a little profligate. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century. The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austen’s favourite topic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can find these from the very beginning of this book. The first sentence in this book is impressive. It reads: “It is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in possession of a large fortune must be in need of a wife”. The undertone is very clear: the foundation of the marriage at that time is not emotion but possession.People always think that Austen was an expert at telling love stories. In fact, the marriage in her book is not the result of love, but the result of economic needs. After reading this book, I know the truth is that a poor woman must be in need of a husband, a wealthy man.I couldn’t forget how eager Mrs. Bennet wants to marry off her daughters. If you want to know why she is so crazy about these things, I must mention the situation in Britain at that time. Only the eldest son had the privilege of inheriting his father’s possessions. Younger sons and daughters who are used to luxurious lives have no choice but marry a man or woman in possession of a large fortune to continue their comfortable lives. Thus, we can see that getting married is a way to become wealthier, particularly for women without many possessions. Jane Austen told us that money and possession determined everything, including marriage and love in her century. In “Pride and Prejudice”, the sister of Mr. Bingley strongly opposed his plan of marrying Jane because the Bennets don’t have many possessions and their social positions are much lower than them. From this, we can see there are a lot of obstacles for a not very rich woman to marry a wealthy husband. The society, the relatives would not allow them to get married. In modern society, although the marriages of economic needs have decreased rapidly, the concept of “money determines everything” is still rooted in some people’s mind. A lotof parents try hard to interfere their children’s marriages. Education background, possessions, jobs remains the main reason that may influence one’s marriage. Marry for money is still a big problem in our society. We can’t help thinking: can money determine everything?Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote “Pride and Prejudice”, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively. The plots in her works are always very natural. The development of the plot is as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. I think the depth of Pride and Prejudice is the reason that makes this book prominent and classic. Today, her book still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time.英文名著读后感3After reading “A tale of two cities”.”A tale of two cities” is one of Dickenss most important representative works. The novel profoundly exposed the society contradiction before the French Revolution, intensely attacks the aristocratic social class is dissolute and cruel, and sincerely sympathizes with the depressed classes. The novel also describedmany magnificent scenes like the revolt people attacked Bastille and so on,which displayed peoples great strength. The novel has portrayed many different people. It is a first-hand account of lu xuns life history, and we may see the complete image of lu xun in the early years. “The battle cry” is the collection of lu xuns short stories from 1918 to 1922. He was full of ambition in his youth, and hoped that China would get rid of the old system and stale traditional ideas. But the frustration he suffered gradually made him feel desperate and lonely. The true story of ah Q shows us the true face of a deformedChina and a group of deformed Chinese before and after the 1911 revolution. It is the epitomies of the people under the feudal rule. The author ascribes the smugness of ah Q to “Chinese spiritual civilization crowns the world “, thus breeding a group of ignorant, ignorant and self-important citizens. At that time, the people were enslaved by imperialism and feudalism. Once beaten, he was healed by “spiritual victory”. Deserves to be thinker, politician, writer lu xun, his pen as the blade, spend a lifetime thinking about national issues, the anatomy of the Chinese soul, spirit of people of the negative aspects to thoroughly expose and criticize.”Looking angrily condemned means, head bowed as a willing ox”, “cold” under the appearance of lu xun, is sending out the light of human nature, such as “long with the maid in shanhaijing o o long, let a person feel thick warmth. In this paper, we first after Yang suppression, o first confessed long too fat, poor sleep, and seek my hidden rat cause I dislike for her. But illiterate her to buy me the shanhaijing but struggled. Which makes me full of respect for her. The long feudal society of China is an ordinary woman. Good, poor, foolish, but given the deep love of lu xun. This paper with deep feeling of the language, to express the sincere of the working women miss andthe memory of the time that young and foolish.”Scream” confessed the author from a medical article and author because of the journey, through the text to awaken people numb, save the sleeping country, between the lines embodies the authors loneliness, hesitation, awakening, rise.英文名著读后感5Love is a minor child the parents of the most taboo thing, love is the young men and women most want to have things, love is a very old looking to accompany grateful when things. It plays many roles, it can be tragic comedy director can also be planners; it can be a poison can also be a honey, no one can touch the penetration it. Once the jump into the trap of love, like arrows no longer beyond recovery to Li Xian, but stubbornly toward their own goals and flew ignore distance, straight through the air, finally landing. After landing there are two possibilities: one is intact reach the target, and the other is because for some reason, broken wings ... ...A wonderful end of the story, usually in comedy ended, readers read they are happy and can be seen in a few days later it will be forgotten. If a story ends in tragedy, then it must be something left in the readers mind, or regret, or pity, so that the reader repeatedly chew and thought. People are the pursuit of perfection. At the same time, people also praise the beauty ofdefects, it seems a contradiction, but not does not seem contradictory.”Romeo and Juliet,” is a tragedy, as I wrote above, it left in my mind what I said sure, and perhaps regret that bar ... ...Love more than big, but smaller than life!。

英语名著读后感1Jane Eyre, is a poor but aspiring, small in body but huge in soul, obscure but self-respecting girl. After we close the covers of the book, after having a long journey of the spirit, Jane Eyre, a marvelous figure, has left us so much to recall and to think: We remember her goodness: for someone who lost arms and blinded in eyes, for someone who despised her for her ordinariness, and even for someone who had hurt her deeply in the past.We remember her pursuit of justice. It’s like a companion with the goodness. But still, a virtuous person should promote the goodneon one side and must check the badneon the other side.We remember her self-respect and the clear situation on equality. In her opinion, everyone is the same at the God’s feet. Though there are differences in status、in property and also in appearance, but all the human being are equal in personality. We also remember her striving for life, her toughneand her confidence…When we think of this girl, what she gave us was not a pretty face or a transcendent temperament that make us admire deeply, but a huge charm of her personality. Her story makes us thinking about life and we learn muchfrom her experience, at least, that is a fresh new recognition of the real beauty.英语名著读后感2Here I am sitting on a couch alone, thinking about what I have just finished reading with tears of sadnefilling my eyes and fire of indignation filling my heart, which revived my exhausted soul that has already been covered by the cruelty and the selfishneof the secular world for a long time. It is truly what I felt after reading Oliver Twist, written by the prominent British author Charles Dickens. The resonance between me and the book makes me feel not only the kindneand the wickedneof all the characters in the novel, but what this aloof society lacks, and what I lack deep inside. Thes e supreme resources I’m talking about right now are somewhat different from minerals, oil that we usually mention. They’re abstract like feelings, and some kinds of spiritual stimulation that all of us desire anxiously from one another ——love and care. Those charitable figures whom Dickens created in the novel are really what we need in life. They showed love and care to others, just as the gentle rain from the sky fell upon the earth, which was carved into my heart deeply.Mr. Brownlow is one such person. The other day he had one of his elaborate watches stolen by two skilled teenage thieves, Artful Dodger and Charley Bates, and thought naturally it was Oliver, who was an orphan and forced to live with a gang of thieves, that had done it because he was the only one near by after the theft had taken place. Being wrathful, he caught Oliver, and sent him to the police station where the ill-tempered, unfair magistrates worked. Fortunately for him, Oliverwas proved innocent by one onlooker afterwards. With sympathy, Mr. Brownlow took the injured, poor Oliver to his own home. There Oliver lived freely and gleefully for some months as if he were Mr. Brownlow’s own son. One day, however, Mr. Brownlow asked Oliver to return some books to the bookseller and to send some money for the new books that he had already collected. The thief Oliver once stayed with kidnapped him. After that he disappeared in Mr. Brownlow’s life. Searching for a while, Mr. Brownlow had to believe the fact that he had run away with his money. But dramatically, they came acroeach other again a few years later. Without hesitation, Mr. Brownlow took Oliver home for the second time not caring if he had done something evil.Perhaps most of us would feel confused about Mr. Brownlow’s reaction. But as a matter of fact, this is just the lesson we should learn from him. Jesus said in the Bible. “Forgive not seven times, but seventy-times seven.” Why is that? Because forgiveneis our ability to remove negative thoughts and neutralize them so our energy may be spent on doing what we came here for. We cannot move forward in our future if past issues cloud our thinking. Stop put Mr. Brownlow into the list of your models. Always give people a second chance no matter what they might have done. That’s also a subst antial part of loving and caring others.Charles Dickens said:“Love makes the world go around.” These immortal words have inspired and will keep on inspiring us to chant the melody of love and to say the prayer of care forevermore. Let us, therefore, enjoy life and treat other people lovingly. These principles are the roots and foundations of beliefs supporting this article and our mission together.英语名著读后感3Sense and Sensibility was the first Jane Austen published. Though she initially called it Elinor and Marianne, Austen jettisoned both the title and the epistolary mode in which it was originally written, but kept the essential theme: the necessity of finding a workable middle ground between passion and reason. The story revolves around the Dashwood sisters, Elinor and Marianne. Whereas the former is a sensible, rational creature, her younger sister is wildly romantic--a characteristic that offers Austen plenty of scope for both satire and compassion. Commenting on Edward Ferrars, a potential suitor for Elinors hand, Marianne admits that while she "loves him tenderly," she finds him disappointing as a possible lover for her sister.Soon however, Marianne meets a man who measures up to her ideal: Mr. Willoughby, a new neighbor. So swept away by passion is Marianne that her behavior begins to border on the scandalous. Then Willoughby abandons her; meanwhile, Elinors growing affection for Edward suffers a check when he admits he is secretly engaged to a childhood sweetheart. How each of the sisters reacts to their romantic misfortunes, and the lessons they draw before coming finally to the requisite happy ending forms the heart of the novel. Though Mariannes disregard for social conventions and willingness to consider the world well-lost for love may appeal to modern readers, it is Elinor whom Austen herself most evidently admired; a truly happy marriage, she shows us, exists only where sense and sensibility meet and mix in proper measure. This article is from internet, only for studying!英语名著读后感4Austins "pride and prejudice", as she puts it, is thin on two inches ofivory carving, it is the masterpiece of Austin. Reflect themarriage problems ofnovel is a, the author works in the most is her favorite works.Works of vivid reflects the late 18th century to the early 19th century ina conservative and occlusion of the British town life and the world. Its socialgraffiti like novels not only attract the readers at that time, solid to today, still give the reader a unique artistic enjoyment. She was the first torealistically portray ordinary grace novelist in daily ordinary life, plays anessential role in English novel. The whole works, not least no winding ups and downs of the plot, but it isthis simple, delicate and attracted us deeply. Austin, short life is spent inthe country, almost all around may be simple, halcyon atmosphere nurtured hercool temperament. Not because there is no abundant experience, for the analysisof things for her ability to doubt.People read the book pride and prejudice "will be fine for her, keenemotion. When writing "pride and prejudice", she is just a teenage girl, isntthis a gift? She does very little contact with the outside world, but thought, imagination, the existence of all this is enough.英语名著读后感5I was read the book which called “The Adv entures of Tom Sawyer”. Sitting on the seat of a bus she couldn’t help feeling exciting at the sight of the metropoli s’ spectacle. She was impressed deeply by large crowd on the avenue the spacious square or tall buildings. Far more different from other heroines Carrie was not a plain pure angel like Snow-white nor was she brave enough to be a heroine of revolutionist or even a reformer nor was she so clever as to be a successful career woman who start from scratch. What attracted her most after her entering this huge metropolis was the incredible fineries fashion shoes smart handbags displaying in the shop windows the jewellerys shining brightly behind the glass. She dreamed that one day she could wear all of these jogging gracefully into the most luxurious hotel with focused sights of admiration. And this was not merely a dream. Because she had large eyes which can earn others’ sympathy even love. She had wonderful figure which can winothers’ hearts. However anything she got anywhere she reached had not come from her ambition.Things happened and then she accepted. That’s what she had just done ? just to accept willingly from the bottom of her heart. She was not at all an evil woman who would give anything for the fortune or fame. However she would give uo something for a better life when her instinct defeated her intellect. That was Carrie a girl had her own desire a human being just like many others in the realistic world. There’s one sentence written in chapter VIII:” When this jangle of free-will instinct shall have been adjusted when perfect understanding has given the former the power to replace the latter entirely man will no longer vary.” However how many people can go that further.英语名著读后感8" Les Miserables " (1862) is representative works of Victor Hugo,as one of the most famous novels in the French literature. The novel basic plot is Ran A Rang pitiful life history. This book tells the adventurous experiences of little prince from his planet to the earth. Little prince comes from the outer space and he is hurt by a rose. So he leaves there and travels into space. He comes to the earth and be the friend of a fox. The fox tells his secret to little prince and he helps a pilot in the desert. In the end, he dies under the help of a snake and his soul goes back to his planet. This book is very interesting and teaches me a lot. I like little price adventures. He teaches me to be honest and love others. All of us should never loss the pureness of childhood.名著读后感英文版(三)《呼啸山庄》英语读后感:My Feelings after reading Wuthering HeightsWuthering Heights is a well-written tragedy of love. After reading the whole story, I would like to talk about the main characters of thestory—Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff. Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff love each other very much, but they do not have the right attitude towards love, which leads to the tragedy. In Catherine’s life, she made a very foolish decision---marrying to Edgar. In fact, her love for Edgar can never be compared to that for Heathcliff. She did so, because she thought the wealth of Edgar would be useful to Heathcliff. But in reality, it did not work. She did not have a good understanding of love, which is something pure and saint. If anyone add any purpose into love, love itself lost its meaning. Catherine’s wrong decision hurt two people who love her, and even destroyed the happiness of their offspring.Heathcliff is a man full of retaliation. He loved Catherine very much, but what he did, on the contrary, added to the misery of Catherine. In my opinion, if he really loved Catherine, he should not walk into Catherine’s life again after his disappearance. Further more, after the death of Catherine, what Heathcliff did brought agony to Catherine’s daughter, as well as his own son. After reading, I have a better understanding of love. If you love really someone, his or her happiness is the thing that most matters.。

英文名著读后感优秀9篇名著读后感英文版篇一Usually,we have contact with many world-famous novels, telling the essence of life. The stories of characters” life move us give us a lot of enlightenment. However,Anna Sewell”s Black Beauty is a different one,as its main character is a black, handsome horse called Black Beauty. Sewell has spent 6 years on this book, while she was seriously sick. Unfortunately, she died soon after her only book in her whole life was published. As Sewell was crippled and unable to walk since a young age,she by nature had sympathy on the poor animals. Therefore,Black Beauty it is not a fairy tale, but a book which seriously talks the issue of the abuse of animals. And this story is narrated in the first person as an autobiographical memoir by Black Beauty himself. In this way,it becomes easier for readers to understand the whole story better and more clearly. When I begin to read this book,I am absorbed in this book immediately,as if I were the horse, experiencing his life with difficulties and set-backs.Black Beauty, who has changed his name for several times during different periods of lifetime,is a handsome horse with a life full of both happiness and suffering. He has been well trained,so he always tried to behave well. However, then he was sold from one owner to another,he began to realize how tragic his fate is. His life story has moved all the readers deeply. The author started this story by Black Beauty describing his memory about his happy childhood, when he was accompanied by his mother and taught to be a good horse. At the age of 2,Black Beauty witnessed an accident of hunting for a hare, which caused the rider falling from the horse, dead.Later that wounded horse was killed. And at the age of 4,Black Beauty was old enough to begin the use of saddle, bridle, carriage harness and shoes. Then he was sent to Birtwick Park and named of Black Beauty by Mrs. Gordon. Birtwick Park became his first pleasant home for three years, where he grew strong and met many friends with different characteristics and experiences. One of his friends was Ginger, who was ill-tempered because of a hard life with previous owners. And as a result,Ginger often got wild and bit others. Sir Oliver got a shortened tail because his previous owner thought it was fashionable. Also, there was a groom, little Joe Green. At first,he was too young to know how to properly how to take care of the hot and tired Black Beauty after an emergency, making Black Beauty seriously sick. Grieved,Joe began to do his best to learn hors care. However, soon, the Gorgons had to move because of Mrs. Gordon”s health,so they sold Black Beauty and Ginger to Earlshall Park.In Earlshall Park, the use of bearing rein made Ginger and Black Beauty painful,so finally ill-tempered Ginger rebelled. Then she was used as a hunter, but Black Beauty was much praised because once he saved Lady Anne. However, his unfortunate life has not changed since then. Our poor Black Beauty got his knees ruined because Mr. Rubber Smith, who was drunk, took Black Beauty on a dangerous ride and at lastkilled himself after falling down. As a result,Black Beauty was sold as a job horse. Although,he was arranged by a smart customer to be sold to a gentleman afterwards,he still had a hard life, because the groom stole the oats in his food. Tired of the trouble of keeping a horse, the gentleman sold Black Beauty again,This time,Black Beauty was lucky to have a kind-hearted new owner;a cab driver in London called Jerry. What”s more,Jerry”s families were all kind-hearted,which made Black Beauty happy to bear the hard work ofpulling a cab every day. By chance,he met Ginger. She was mistreated as a cab horse;in such a great pain that she was longing for death. And soon,it came true. At the same time,Jerry became weaker and weaker, and finally he was ill in bed after waiting for two customers on a bitter cold night. After his recovery,Jerry was told not to work as s cab driver any more,so Black Beauty was sold again.Black Beauty”s new owner,a corn dealer, was kind to him,but the dealer”s foreman,Jakes, often overworked the horse and used the bearing rein. Once advertised by a kind lady,Jakes was easier on Black Beauty. However, the dark stables nearly made Black Beauty blind. After sold to work as a cab horse again,Beauty was too old and too weak. Once he was exhausted because of the heavy load. Saved from being put down by a doctor,Beauty found a new owner,a farmer. With full effort,he rejuvenated Beauty and sold him to Miss Ellen and Miss Blomefield. To Beauty”s surprise,he met Joe Green there. Form then on,Black Beauty began a happy life at his last home. After reading this book, one may admire Black Beauty”s strong will, persistence, and loyalty,or feel sympathetic on him and feel happy for him to get a happy ending. However,it needs our deeper thinking,a much deeper thinking. In fact,Sewell doesn”t only focuson showing Black Beauty”s great characteristics. By telling Black Beauty”s whole life story, she aimed at revealing the hard life of animals at that time and altering us the crime of those who abuse animals. From Beauty”s suffering during his whole life time,we can see the tragic life of animals at that time. Some people ran after theso-called fashion blindly. In order to satisfy their own vanity, they ignored animals” great pain. For example,Sir Oliver”s shortened tail. What the so-called fashion gave animals is great pain rather than a beautiful appearance. Some people knew nothing about how to keep animals, and were always making them work all day long. They abused the animals to make as much money as possible until they died. Therefore,on the day when the animals died, their holiday was on the way. For example, the poor Ginger that died for overwork. Though some people kept animals well, their main purpose was to have fun and to show off. They were more abominable. For example,in order to hunt for a hare, the rider killed himself at last and caused the wounded horse”s death. As Beauty said,it wasn”t worthwhile, wasn”t it? Those people who abuse d animals showed no sympathy or love on the poor animals at all. When they needed animals, they kept animals;when they didn”t need animals, they killed animals ruthlessly. To them, all animals were toys, from which they could make fun,or tools, from which they could make money. And the fate of animals at that time, like horses, was being sold from one owner to another, experiencingdifferent kinds of suffering in the whole life. From the standpoint of animals,it must be terrible to be sold again and again.Let”s see what the result is. Sir Oliver got great annoyance and discomfort because of its shortened tail. Ginger was ill-tempered andbit others often. What”s more, numerous animals died because of over work. What a tragedy! In fact, the abuse of animals not only happened in the past, but also today, maybe right at this moment,a civilized age. Years ago,I got to know that a few girls cut down a cat”s feet, and then threw it on the street, leaving it bleeding to death. And the year before,it was reported that a student from QingHua University, gave black bears sulfate to drink, which gave black bears a great pain. As to the facts that some old or sick animals are abandoned,it has been very common. Although some organizations aiming at protecting animals have been set up,the abuse of animals can not be prevented. Maybe nowadays the abuse of animals was caused by life pressure, but life pressure can not be an excuse to abuse animals. Those people who live under life pressure should find other ways to solve the problem, but not avoid it by hurting animals. However,if one can treat animals kindly, the result will be different. Kind people who love animals, such as Mrs.Gordon,Joe,Jerry, get animals” love and r espect in return. As they were friendly to horses, horses are friendly to them and would like to do as much work as they can for them, even sacrifice themselves when their owners were in danger.I am sure, animals and human can become good friends. No animals will do harm to human,if human have not frightened them first. If you would like to try to have a close and friendly touch withanimals, whether tigers or dogs, you will find that they are lovely. Its true that we are much cleverer than animals, but our intelligence should not act as the tool to dominant animals. In fact,we human and animals have the same feeling, because we are all created by onenature, and share one nature together. Therefore, human have no right to abuse them,or kill them. On the contrary,we should protectthem, which is our real sacred and glorious obligation.Do not put the "bearing rein" on the animals. It is cruel.Do not always focus on our own happiness. It is selfish.Try to open our eyes to animals that are suffering a hard life. Try to understand The Black Beauty, and the author.Try to give a hand in ending the abuse of animals. At last,I want to conclude by a sentence from this book,"there is no religion without love, and people may talk as much as they like about their religion, but if it dose not teach them to be good and kind to other animals as well as humans,it is all a shame"《老人与海》读后感篇二The novel description is one year near sixty years of age senior fisherman, when alone goes to sea in one fishing, fished one big fish, actually did not pull. 名著的.英文读后感1The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery contains a fairy tale which concludes plentiful things. The first thing we can learn from the book is the innocence of childhood and love.Although disappointed by what his roses said, the little prince still loved them.In the weiter’s opinion ,the roses stand for the pure love.As the prince growed up,he made a decision to explore other planets and leave his hometown,a planet which just one person lived in.When travelling in the other planets,he discovered that his rose is not the only one of its kind. There are abandunt kinds of roses in the garden, but he still held the opinoion that his rose is special "because it is she that I have watered; because it is she that I have put under the glass globe; because it is she that I have sheltered behind the screen" .When he came to the earth ,another significant character ,the fox , teached the little prince to take his own responsibility bravely . What’s more ,the fox is also the little prince’s best friend and help with his understanding of the meaning of friendship. All the story is told by a piolet ,who is another hero in the tale and met the little prince in the Sahara .At the end of the story ,the little prince died on the Earth with the piolet. The writer made the story from the child’s view.Actually, what theprince said is what the writer wanted to said. The theme of the story is to criticize the human beings’ drawbacks. As a alien, the little prince could see the human beings’ disadvantages clearly. In my opinion ,The Little Prince is more than a funny book written for the children. It is a kind of profound reflection of humans.Everyone finishing reading the book can form his thought in his mind. Therefore,I’m sure it is worthwhile to spend some time reading the book calmly.名著的英文读后感2Pride and Prejudice ", a novel a pleasure to behold, a beautiful and moving story. The article describes a number of daughters Bo Nate story. Ji-an eldest daughter, gentle kind-hearted, beautiful Keren, Bentley and rich kids at first sight, but at the crucial moment has brought a twist. Second daughter, Elizabeth, Qingli intelligent, ambitious, assertive, consistent with the property of the nobility million youth met Darcy. Can be as arrogant Darcy eccentric, Elizabeth for his prejudice are serious, they love but refuse to recognize the obvious, but also continue to hurt each other with words, but fortunately dispelled the last mistake, married lovers.Reading this novel, I have benefited greatly. In our people, there are many very modest, but there are some arrogant people. These arrogant people who sometimes annoying, they have eyes in the head long, others are dismissive. Indeed, the arrogance is a shortcoming in the environment to develop a character.Chinese children from an early age by their parents as holding typical "little emperors." If so has been from small to large, how could it not arrogant? So I think that we should not be arrogant people who have prejudices, but the more soul-searching myself, to see if they have not arrogant, after their ownthings to learn to no longer allow parents to worry about, tired. As the book said: "Heart of pride in everyone. As long as we have so a little bit of strength, they will feel especially great. But pride and vanity while the same meaning, but in real terms in different kinds of self-pride is a feeling,Vanity will need to involve other people overestimate their own, so people have a pride without vanity, which is justifiable.名著的英文读后感3Mark Twain's short story of "one million pounds" is a very good work. 英文名著读后感
——《雾都孤儿》英语读后感
Here I am sitting on a couch alone, thinking about what I have just finished reading with tears of sadness filling my eyes and fire of indignation filling my heart, which revived my exhausted soul that has already been covered by the cruelty and the selfishness of the secular world for a long time. It is truly what I felt after reading Oliver Twist, written by the prominent British author Charles Dickens.
The resonance between me and the book makes me feel not only the kindness and the wickedness of all the characters in the novel, but what this aloof society lacks, and what I lack deep inside. These supreme resources I’m talking about right now are somewhat different from minerals, oil that we usually mention. They’re abstract like feelings, and some kinds of spiritual stimulation that all of us desire anxiously from one another —— love and care.
Those charitable figures whom Dickens created in the novel are really what we need in life. They showed love and
care to others, just as the gentle rain from the sky fell upon the earth, which was carved into my heart deeply.
Mr.
Fortunately for him, Oliver was proved innocent by one onlooker afterwards. But dramatically, they came across each other again a few years later. Without hesitation, Mr. Brownlow took Oliver
home for the second time not caring if he had done something evil.
Perhaps most of us would feel confused about Mr. Brownlow’s reaction. But as a matter of fact, this is just the lesson we should learn from him. Jesus said in the Bible. “Forgive not seven times, but seventy-times seven.” Why is that? Because forgiveness is our ability to remove negative thoughts and neutralize them so our energy may be spent on doing what we came here for. We cannot move forward in our future if past issues cloud our thinking. Stop put Mr. Brownlow into the list of your models. Always give people a second chance no matter what they might have done. That’s also a substantial part of loving and caring others.
Charles Dickens said:“Love makes the world go around.” These immortal words have inspired and will keep on inspiring us to chant the melody of love and to say the prayer of care forevermore. Let us, therefore, enjoy life and treat other people lovingly. These principles are the roots and foundations of beliefs supporting this article and our mission together.
