教材分析
本节课是第十模块的第一课时。课文中Daming的妈妈在超市里寻找Daming.在楼梯上碰到了正在上楼的Smart一家,通过对他们刚刚待过的地方的询问,妈妈在二楼找到了正在给妈妈准备母亲节礼物的大明。学生通过对课文的掌握,来理解过去存在的状态。三年级的孩子们在第九模块学习了用过去式谈论个人的变化,比较好理解,但在理解过去存在的状态上有一定的难度,因此在本课的教学中,以课文的理解为重点,运用模仿等手段,情景教学等方法,让孩子在情景中去理解本模块的语法。另外本模块的场景是“shop”,因此本节课自始至终都在”shop”的场景下进行,最后进行文化的拓展,旨在开阔学生的视野,发展跨文化意识,促进创新思维,提高学生的人文素养,并为终身学习奠定基础。

由于学生在之前就学习了一些身体部位的知识,因此在此基础上为了能深入描述自己身体特征的句子,教材的编写循序渐进,由易到难,层层递进,使学生能够轻松的用英文进行简单的日常交流,同时也对本教材有浓厚的学习兴趣及表演热情。
