科学的发展反过来也收到现代技术的惊人进步的强烈影响，现代技术把以前从未梦想到的工具，精密的，功率大的仪器，例如分子加速器，核反应堆，电子计算机等任凭其支配使用。
工业技术的提高使得有可能实现很多高强度的形象，如压力，温度，高电压或接近理想的真空条件，这些常常是精确的实验结果不可或缺的。
一般来说，科学并不直接影响工业，但是，通过技术手段把新改进的，大功率的机器置于工业支配中，从而增加劳动生产率。
科学改进了技术工艺，采用了新的能量形式，制造了并非自然界所原有的新的物质，采用了新的和各种各样的运输，交通，电讯控制和遥控。
所有这些工具都以人的力量取代了自然界的力量，并令人惊异地增加了劳动生产率。
工业技术水平的提高，乃是我们同时代向科学提出的主要使命，因而科学开始处在社会进步的先锋地位。

我们可能知道如何去掩盖，但很少有人知道如何去彻底解决。

无论我们认为自己有多糟糕，无论我们认为自己有多么不好，无论我们认为自己有多么堕落，我们仍然可以净化思想，从头再来。
我们花费很多精力给自己定位，却很少去了解我们自己。
如果我们意识到生命的本质有多么珍贵，我们就不会浪费一分一秒试图去改进。
如果我们真正懂得自己对生命这份礼物而言是多么珍贵，我们也就不会浪费时间去给自己定位。
没有什么比我们所相信的自己的价值更能吸引我们了。
发生在我们身上的每一件事，我们做的每一个选择都是我们对自己定位的发射。
我们的灵感来自自我接受；我们的动机来自自我依靠。
当我们接受自己、依赖自己的时候，我们自我感觉良好。
当你对一些事情感觉良好的时候，你就会去信任它。
当你信任它时，它将为你服务。
你的过去怎么样并不重要。
重要的是现在。
你不用不关心别人可能说什么或做什么。
你关注自己的时候就无暇顾及其他的人。
人们可以喜欢你，也可以讨厌你，不在乎你或宠爱你。
不管其他人想些什么，做些什么或说些什么，对于你的真实自我没有什么影响。
只是在你的大脑里建立或毁坏掉你对“自我”的尊重。
自尊始于自己也终于自己。
你拥有自我的时候，你就是拥有，没人能把它从你那拿走。
