面试中的自我介绍，可以让考官观察到报名表简历等书面材料以外的内容，如你对自己的描述与概括能力，你对自己的综合评价以及你的精神风貌等。
自我介绍是学生给导师的第一印象，导师提问这块时非常灵活，没有一个具体的标准。
导师在现场会问到很多问题，比如说你的个人经历，成功经历，失败经历，个人梦想，读研的计划等等。
关于个人的信息一定要准备好，一定不要临时去想，因为临时想很难组织语言，也很难想得完美。
首先同学们要注意的是，第一，落落大方，不要太过紧张，不要太敏感。
第二，说话的时候语言简洁，口齿清楚。
态度要保持自然、友善、亲切、随和。
第三充满信心，要敢于正视对方的双眼，显得胸有成竹，从容不迫。
心理素质不够硬的同学，建议自己多对镜练习，这个还是可以有改进的，只要提前多多练习，到时就不会特别胆怯。
下面开始介绍英文部分，其实英文部分和中文部分主题一样，简单说明就是把汉语翻译过来就可以。
但有几点要注意：1英文毕竟不是咱们的母语，不要刻意求华丽，省的一上场紧张全忘记了，简单自然最好。
2也不要太过于滚瓜烂熟，有背稿之嫌3切记不要太长，太长容易出错。
三分钟以内就可以。
语速不要太快，正常语速就可以，讲太快容易把自己搞紧张的。
4，心理上一定不要轻视英语面试。
研究生复试的英语部分一般是由学校的公共英语或研究生公共英语教研室来考核。
好点的学校，那些参与面试的导师几乎都是海龟，在国外呆了多年，他们是可以用一口流利的英语做学术报告的。
如果你进去上来一口标准流利的英语，瞬间镇住各位老师。
相信我，成功就在眼前了。
同样，英语部分也是一样分清条理，抓住重点。
一，开场白，姓名，英文名，本科专业，本科学校二，性格爱好，实践经验三，为什么想读研，读研时的打算四，结束语例如：1.开场白(作自我介绍时，最好不要用…let me introduce myself briefly / please allow me to introduce myself to you等句子，重复、啰嗦，而且这样说的同学很多，考官听多了，未免太俗。
开头可以只用一句话引入：Dear professors, I feel so glad to meet all of you here。
然后就可以进入主题，介绍姓名、年龄等等。

2.性格，爱好，特点，经历。
(你的个性对你报考的专业有何积极的作用。
如果报考的是学术性的专业，可以说自己细心(carefully，detail-oriented)、条理分明(logical)、踏实(steady)等；如果是研究性、应用性更强一点的专业，可以说自己负责(responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。
除了强调你的学习的重视，同时也要避免给考官一种“书呆子”的感觉。
一般可以从体育、音乐、电影等方面来说，同时要简单说明这些爱好对你的积极意义(build my body, relax myself, open my mind…)I am open-minded, willing and have broad interests like basketball, reading and especially in engineering such as software programming, website design, hardware design. For example, during the past four years, I have accomplished two websites: one is the website of our school, and the other is the website of the doctor forum of china 2007. Furthermore, I am interested in C plus plus programming language and have written some application programs. 英语除了范文外，大家最好还要多背几篇，每个学校侧重点都不一样，如果同学们能事先找到相关院校相关学长学姐，问清每年的面试情况，是最好不过的了，但这对好多同学来说，都有点难。
最好的法子，还是多背几篇。
网上范文都很多，同学可以按专业特色自行搜索背诵几篇，再强调，一定把范文改成自己的，确认语法无误后，再背诵。
最后再整理下中英文面试考官经常会问的问题因为同学们自我介绍完后，导师会就自我介绍再提些问题，这里列出一些常见的问题，可以认真准备。
注意在准备的过程中，要结合自己的经历和见解来准备答案，让自己回答的问题和整个的自我介绍融为一个整体。
中文问题1你为什么考我们这个学校？这是在考查你对目标院校的了解情况。
兴趣+该校该专业名气和实力+该专业老师的实力。
2为什么会报考这个专业，以及今后的打算。
建议事先了解所报专业的研究领域与方向，然后稍微准备一个小型的研究计划(不成熟也没关系)，最后你准备的与所报专业的研究方向是一致的。
3你认为自己本科专业和现在所考的专业有什么互补性或者借鉴性？本科是学习，是基础，而硕士是研究。
4你认为跨专业的优势和劣势是什么？以上两个问题的建议：如果你是跟专业的，在复试前需好好思考根据自己所学专业和所考专业之间展开论述。
最好整理出了一篇腹稿，至少要有回答的提纲。
5你家乡是哪里，家里有几口人，这样的问题有时导师是为了调节氛围，有时就也是想通过这个了解下学生的性格，同学们可以就家庭幸福说明自己养成了什么样的性格，这种性格对学习还有什么好处等。
6有的时候考官还会问些出奇不意的问题，例如：你有没有男朋友，你最喜欢什么颜色，平时爱看什么电影等等。
同学们遇到这样的问题千万不要慌，有时考官只是为了调节紧张的气氛罢了。
英文问题What is your greatest strength？(你最突出的优点是什么？)I feel that my strongest asset is my ability to stick to things to get them done.
