We walked the trail along the base looking up at the gigantic carved president faces which was very impressive. We saw the CN Tower which is a super tall tower you can go up to get an amazing view. Going up gave me a little vertigo feeling, but it was still really neat. We got to go inside the Princess Fantasy Faire and actually talk to Belle, Ariel, and Cinderella up close. They were so beautiful and elegant. I was kind of starstruck and didn't know what to say at first. But they made us feel very welcome in their kingdoms.The highlight of the trip for me was getting to meet Mickey Mouse himself! We waited in a long line for almost an hour, but it was totally worth it. When it was finally our turn, Mickey gave us both a big hug and we took a bunch of pictures together. He was so cute and cheerful in person. Meeting the one and only Mickey Mouse is something I'll never forget.Of course, we had to go on all the classic Disneyland rides too. Indiana Jones was probably my favorite thrill ride - it felt like being in one of the movies dodging booby traps and huge boulder chasing after you. We also went on It's A Small World, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, and pretty much every single ride and attraction at both Disneyland and California Adventure Park.When it got dark, we watched the incredible World of Color water show at California Adventure. It combined water fountains, lights, music, and video projections in such an amazing way. Then we headed back over to Disneyland to find a good spot to watch the fireworks spectacular. The fireworks were launching all around us, filling the night sky with bright colors and big booming sounds. It was the perfect way to end our first day at the parks.For the next few days, we went back and explored the different lands at Disneyland some more. We bought souvenirs like Mickey ears, Disney plushies, and enough snacks to last us for months. By the end of our week there, we were exhausted but so happy.
