然后互相问候，引出已经设计好的情境，“面试小摄影师”。
2．Presentation (新课呈现)一、测测你的听力⑴ Let’s try （试一试）①教师出示Let’s try 部分的第一幅图，给学生大约10秒钟的时间看图，然后教师把图收起。
教师问学生“What are they doing?”“Is there a river in the nature park?”这时学生应能明白教师提出的问题，教师也可适时引导学生回答出“ Yes”或“No”.②教师出示Let’s try部分的两幅挂图，听录音，请学生完成根据听到的录音完成Listen and circle 部分的题目。

【教材分析】本单元重点学习用There be句型对周围的自然景观进行简单的描述、询问并作答；能对给风景图片进行简单的讨论并看图写话等。
学生在Unit5单元中已经初步学习了There be的用法，能简单描述事物的基本特征，本单元重点学习Is/Are there ……?及它们的应答，在看图写话中学生容易混淆一般疑问句和There be 陈述句，老师在课堂上注意引导他们的不同之处。
尤其注意提醒学生Are there+（名词复数），老师在课堂上多让学生进行口头描述，让学生习惯成自然。
也可以提供简单的风景图片，让学生用所学知识进行描述或问答。
本节课重点掌握五个有关自然景物的四会单词：bridge, house, road, building, tree及认读城市city 和乡村village;句型“There are…”本节课的难点“There is…”和：There are…”之间的区别及单词的复数运用与读音。
【学情分析】本节课主要学习单词，在单词学习的基础上利用句型不断加大学生的练习量。
由于涉及到自然景物，学习都很积极，学习热情也比较高，再套用上新句型，来锻炼学生实际运用能力。

二、教学思想：结合我校高年英语课堂的“学导为主，讲练结合”教学模式，坚持以学生的自主学习为主，教师的有效引导为辅，通过“学习铺垫，以旧补新——听说领先，情境模拟——阅读强化，启发点拔”三个学习环节组织开展课堂学习活动。
关注不同层次学生的学习能力与学习需求，为不同层次的学生提出各有针对性的学习目标与要求。
学习能力强的学生（小组内1号），中等生（小组内2，3号）目标是能四会掌握本课时的5个单词和1个句型短语，后进生（小组内4号）则只要求能听、说、读本课时的5个单词，在提示下说出自己会句型。
