Installation3.1 Unpacking inspection1) Unpack the product, and check the product appearance for poor appearance quality or damage caused during transportation.2) Check the list of accessories to confirm whether the machine accessories are complete.3) Confirm whether the machine is the model you want to purchase according to the nameplate pasted on the sideof the product.4) If you have the above problems, please contact the dealer or company in time!3.2 Installation precautions■Please put the inverter in a well-ventilated place far away from the dangerous objects such as water, flammable gases, or corrosives. One end of the minas input line has been fixed with the inverter, and the other end can be connected to the mains socket. It is recommended to select the generator capacity that equals to the twice the capacity of the inverter.4.3.2 Battery Mode1) When the battery capacity reduces, the number of lights of the battery capacity indication part will decrease; when the battery voltage drops to the pre-warning level, the buzzer will beep every second to remind the user that the battery capacity is insufficient.The main screen of the LCD panel display is shown in Fig. 4-3Fig. 4-3 Battery mode4.3.3 Fault and alarm displayIn case of failure of inverter, the "FAULT" fault indicator light on the LED panel will be on, the smiling face on the LCD panel will change to a crying face, as shown in Fig. 4-4, and the inverter will always beep.Fig. 4-4 fault display4.4 Operation4.4.1 Switch operationStart operation modes: Mains start and battery start■Mains startConnect the battery, and then turn on the mains, and the inverter will automatically start.■DC startWhen there is no mains input, press the Start button once. The panel lights up after a few seconds, and the inverter is already running in battery mode.4.4.2 Stop operationWith the Stop button pressed, the system power is turned off and there is no display on the panel. If out of the service for a long time, please disconnect the mains and battery connection cables!5. Maintenance5.1 Battery maintenanceThe battery is an important part of the inverter system. The life of the battery depends on the ambient temperature and the number of discharges. Operation at high temperatures or deep discharge can shorten the life of the battery. ■The battery should work in the ambient temperature ranged 15℃ to 25℃as much as possible.■If the inverter is out of the service for a long time, it is recommended to charge it once every 3 months.■If the battery is discharged to stop the machine by the protective device, it shall be charged in time, and cannot be turned on again, otherwise the battery will be scrapped in advance■Under normal circumstances, the battery life is 1~3 years; if found harsh condition, replace it early. The battery must be replaced by professionals.Note:●Please turn off the inverter and disconnect the mains before replacing the battery;●Take off metal objects such as rings and watches;●Please use a screwdriver with an insulated handle, and do not put tools or other metal objects on the battery;●Do not short connect or reversely connect the positive and negative poles of the battery.6. Operating ManualKODAK CAROUSEL®Slide ProjectorCONSUMER IMAGINGImportant Safety InstructionsWhen using your projector, always follow basic safety precautions:1.Read and understand all instructions before using this equipment.2.Operate this projector with 110- to 125-volt 60 Hz current only. Incorrect voltage can cause projectormalfunction.3.Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children,or others who may notunderstand the need for these precautions. Do not leave the projector unattended during use.4.Be careful not to touch hot parts. For lamp replacement, allow the module to cool before touching thelamp and the surrounding area. Use a 140-slide tray if you use thin-mounted slides (1/16 in. / 1.6 mm) and need the larger capacity. Use an 80 cpacity tray if any of your slides have thick mounts (1/8 in. / 2.5 mm).Note:Do not attempt to project slides mounted with sticky or loose tape.Place the tray over the center post of the projector.Align the "0"slot with the gate index; the tray will drop into position.If your 140-slide tray does not drop easily, secure the lock ring, invert the tray, and align the index hole with the index notch . Slide and hold the tray release latch in the direction of the arrow,and turn the bottom plate until the index hole and notch align.Then release the latch.If you usean 80-slidetray ,rotate the metal plate on the bottom of the tray until it locks into position.140-Slide T ray 80-Slide TrayOperationAdding Your Slides Remove the lock ring by turning it counterclockwise and lifting it off.Check each slide’s orientation(horizontal or vertical),and arrange them in theorder you wish to show them. To change slides, briefly press the forward or reverse buttons.Focus Focus your first slide using the focus knob on the projector or the focus buttonon the remote control (Models 4400 and 5600 only).Autofocus (Model s 4600and 5600 only)The autofocus feature automatically focuses each slide after you focus your first slide manually. If there is a mix of slide mounts in the tray (cardboard,plastic, and glass), it may be necessary to manually refocus betweenmount-type changes. The focus button on the cabled remote can be used for Models 4400 and 5600.Random Projection For random projection of any slide in thetray:•press and hold down theselect bar ,•rotate the tray to the desiredslide,and•release the select bar.Screen Image Use the elevating foot to horizontally center the projected image on thescreen.To release the foot,press the release button,while lifting the front ofthe projector to the desired height. Use the elevating wheel to make fineadjustments.If the image is not level, make an adjustment by turning the leveling foot atthe rear of the projector.Timer (Model 5600 only)To time your slides, use the timer switch for slide changes from 3 to 22seconds.To interrupt the timer, press eitherthe forward orreverse button.Formanual operation, slide the timerswitch to Off.KODAK CAROUSEL® Slide Projector11Reading Light (Model 5600only)To illuminate a small area for reading, lift the reading light cover while the projector lamp is on.Room Light Outlet (Model 5600only)Plug any standard room light into the room light outlet and turn it on.It will remain on until the projector is turned to the lamp position(when adarkened room is required). When you turn the projector off at the end of your presentation, the room light will come on again.12KODAK CAROUSEL® Slide ProjectorSingle Slides To project single slides,slide the power switch on.Remove the tray and inserta slide upside down into the projector gate. Push the slide all the way down.After viewing the slide, pressforward, reverse, or the select bar to eject the slide.Selecting Slide Projection Lenses When buying a lens, consider features such as focal length (measured in millimetres), aperture (designed as an f/stop), and the lens design (curved or flat).When selecting a lens, remember that the shorter the focal length (i.e., the smaller the f/number), the brighter the projected image. Also, a curved-field lens, in combination with cardboard open face mounts from an automated mounting process,provide superior projection quality.Aflat-field lensis the best choice for glass-mounted slides.KODAK CAROUSEL® Slide Projector13Choosing a Curved-or Flat-Field Lens The lens you select depends on how you use your projector and what type of slide mount you use. So that you may choose the lens that best meets your needs, we do not include a lens with the projector.To obtain the best results of a projected image,insert slides with the emulsion side toward the projection lens, slide curve toward the light source.A flat-field lens works best for:•general home projection•glass mounts•plastic mounts•mixed mounts•non-embossed cardboard mounts•rear-projection applications•duplicated slidesA curved-field lens works best for:•embos sed cardboard mounts(Embossed mounts have beveled edges around the aperture. Firmly press and hold downthe select bar to eject the slide.Adding a Slide When the lock ring is off,you can add a slide to any empty slot.(See “AddingYour Slides” on page 6.)Replace and secure the lock ring.KODAK CAROUSEL® Slide Projector 17OperationClearing a Gate JamTo remove a defective slide or foreign object stuck in the projector gate,you need to remove the tray.•Slide the tray release latch in the direction of the arrow, and •with your other hand, lift off the back of the tray.With the lock ring firmly in place,turn the 140-slide tray upside down. Retract the tray release latch in the direction of the arrow and align the index hole with the index notch .(For an 80-slide tray,rotate the metal plate until it locks into position.) Put the tray aside.Remove the slide or object from the projector gate by pressing the forward button or removing the slide manually.Remount damaged slidestoprotect your projector and slides from subsequent damage.OperationUsing the Built-In Viewer(Model5600 Only)ImportantBefore opening the viewer,you must remove the projection lens from theprojector.Removing the Lens Turn the focus knob to the horizontal position.Push the knob toward the top of the projector as you withdraw the lens.Opening the Viewer Grasp the viewer handle and pull it out from the base of the projector.It will pop into place.Slide the power switch to lamp to project your slides.Closing the Viewer To close the viewer, fold it and push it back into the body of the projector.18KODAK CAROUSEL® Slide ProjectorOperationReinserting the Lens To reinsert the lens,push the focus knob up and position the lens gear teeth on the lens barrel with the notch on the projector.ShutdownTo shut down,•remove and store the tray•slide the power switch to offYour projector will remain warm for several minutes.KODAK CAROUSEL® Slide Projector19MaintenanceTo ensure a long life and trouble-free operation for your projector:•Allow the air to flow freely around the projector.•Do not recirculate warm air.•Keep the projector dust free.Your CAROUSEL Projector requires no lubrication; all bearings are self-lubricating.Projection Lamps Included: FHS lamp, 70-hour lamp life (medium-brightness)Sampling of other lamps:EXY (200 hours/less brightness)EXR (35 hours/maximum brightness)Note:An EXW lamp is not recommended for older models of CAROUSELProjectors. To release the latch,you may need to apply extra effort when you pull out the module.Lift up the lamp release clip . Carefully remove the worn lamp from the socket and place it on a heat-resistant surface.Insert a new lamp into the socket. Push down to tightly seat the replacement lamp.Relatch the clip intheforward position and push the lamp module all the way back into the projector until it latches.22KODAK CAROUSEL® Slide ProjectorMaintenanceCleaning the Condenser, Heat-Absorbing Glass, and MirrorTo clean the condenser,heat-absorbing glass,or mirror,you must disassemble the lamp module.Slide the power switch to Off and unplug the projector. Allow the projector to cool about 10 minutes.Push the lamp-module release button and remove the lamp module .Use a torx-head screwdriver to remove the screw .Using a flat-blade screwdriver, apply amplepressure to release each of the metaltabs .Lift off the top of the lamp module.Maintenance Condenser Lens You can clean the condenser lens in place, or by pulling it out. Wear glovesto prevent fingerprints.Heat-Absorbing GlassCautionThe heat-absorbing glass is fragile. Y ou can attach the touch module on a wall surface or existing board. It is important to choose a smooth and flat surface area free of protrusions.classroom.Selecting a Wall Surface• Select a wall that is straight and flat, without any protruding objects on it. • Writing directly on the wall with the pen can damage the wall. T est the wall surface by writing on it with the dummy pen before you install the touch module.Using on the Wall SurfaceConsider the following factors when selecting a wall surface to project your image onto:• Project on a smooth, semi-gloss painted surface to reduce glare from the projector, to achieve optimal touch quality and to reduce wear on the pen nib.Using on a Dry-erase Board• Attach a dry-erase board to the wall if you’re projecting on a textured surface. 在项目中集成 AdView 比较容易, 通常您按照以下步骤即可把 AdView 集成到您的项目中.1.从网站获取 AdView SDK 开发包, 在 Finder 中解压. 您将在 Finder 中看到解压后的 AdView SDK. 如图所示.
2.在 Xcode 中打开您的工程. 在此以 AdView SDK 所附带的 AdViewHello 工程为例.

5.AdView SDK 开发包附带了所有支持的广告平台. 但是不幸的是某些广告平台之间会有⼀一些符号冲突. 所以您不得不忍痛割爱⼀一些广告平台. 这些广告平台的冲突主要有:

删除不需要的广告平台非常容易, 只需要在项目工程中删除 AdViewSDK/AdNetworks 组下相应的广告平台库文件, 重新编译工程即可.
在从工程中删除广告平台时我们建议只是删除工程引用, 而不要把广告平台从硬盘上删除.保留这些广告平台的开发库以备不时之需.

1.为什么 AdView 无法显示广告?最大可能性的原因在于您没有在您的项目中添加额外的链接选项, 使广告平台的开发库能正常加载到您的应用程序中. 您可以参考 ”在程序界面中嵌入AdView” 的第 5 步.2.工程在编译能够成功, 但是在链接的时候发生错误, 这是为什么?由于 Objective-C 语言的特性所限制, 所有参与链接的静态库不允许出现重复的函数或者变量等符号. 如果冲突发生在广告平台之间, 这个比较容易解决, 您只需要注意冲突发生在那些广告平台之间即可. 已知的广告平台冲突发生在以下几个:•AdChina, WinAd 和 Wooboo 都包含了 Reachability, 所以其中任何两个库共存的情况下, 会发生符号冲突. 这个办法暂时无法解决, 您只能使用其中⼀一个广告平台.•Casee 与 SBJson 的冲突. 由于 Casee 已经包含 SBJson 部分的代码, 所以您可以从工程中删除 AdViewSDK/SBJson 组的所有源代码.3.工程添加 -all_load 标志后在链接外部第三方静态库时发生冲突.发生这种错误时, 原因的确是由于 -all_load 标志的问题, 要避免这个问题, 请确认您的 Xcode 版本在 3.2.6 以上. 并且删除 -all_load 标志, 而使用 -force_load 逐个添加您需要链接的第三方静态库以及 AdView/AdNetworks 组下的广告平台开发库.4.为什么找不到 AdViewView.h 头文件?AdView 开发库从1.4.3a开始不再使用 framework 的封装方式. 请使用 #import “AdViewView.h” 方式包含头文件
