第一课时以词汇教学为主,主要是对时间的复习并学习有关活动的词汇,“词不离句”是本课时教学要遵循的原则。

第二课时为会话教学,要求学生在学习重点词汇的基础上能够理解和运用对话What time is it? It’s...学习怎样用英语回答。

第三课时以Part B中的Let’s learn more为主,让学生拓展学习更多有关时间的表达,理解和运用句型I get up at...表达几点起床。

第四课时在综合复习本单元重难点的基础上,通过练习检测学生的学习效果。

教学分析
Module 5是本册课本的第五模块,主要学习谈论家庭成员的日常活动。
Unit 1作为第一课时,开篇的情景是小猫不停用一般疑问句Do you …?问小狗问题,打扰小狗睡觉,把小狗惹恼了。通过这一情景复习上单元学过的一般现在时的一般疑问句Do you …?,引入本模块学习主语是单数第三人称的一般现在时的各种句型。活动二呈现的是主情景,Ms Smart的家人周一的日常活动是怎样的呢?她的朋友在给她打电话聊天,问候了她的三个孩子,对话中说到Amy和Sam周一上学去了,这时电话里传来奇怪的声音,于是朋友问是谁,为什么没上学?原来Tom只有两岁,在家玩玩具火车发出了声音。这一段情境引出目标功能句:主语是单三的陈述句和一般疑问句She goes to school on Mondays. Does he go to school on Mondays?和重点词句on Mondays, who, go to school, at home. He’s only two years old.

主要围绕话题What’s he like?引出A、B、C三个板块的内容。

A、B局部呈现两组情景对话、一些重点词汇和一篇阅读小短文等新知识点,C局部是以讲趣味故事形式稳固或延展知识面。

本单元重点学习描述人物相貌特征和个性特点的语言,学习形容词放在系动词be〔am,is,are〕后面作表语,与系动词be构成系表结构,以及形容词放在名词前面作定语的用法,重点呈现核心句型Who’s your art teacher? Mr Jones. Is he young? Yes, he is. 学生们平时谈论最多的话题就是自己的老师,这些是最贴近学生们喜爱的话题,可以瞬间激发学生们的浓厚情趣,把新的知识点融入到学生们的真实生活中,学生们更喜欢学习,更愿意接受,并能很快到达内化的程度。

本单元共分六个课时,A、B两局部中的情景对话都是展示重点知识内容的语言环境,Let’s learn 中的重点词汇是为重点句型提供的多变元素,让学生们掌握更多的描述人物相貌特征和个性特点的形容词,丰富学生们的知识锦囊,增加学生们的词汇量,提高学生们的灵活表达能力。

第五课时的Read and write,Read and match和Let’s check均是稳固重点知识的的精简训练。

情趣故事是学生们最喜欢的表演剧本,学生们通过观看动画课件视频,模仿表演,把刚刚学会的新知识融入到故事情节当中,把故事内容活灵活现的展现在众人面前,让学生们感受着自己的进步、成功与喜悦,这就是学习收获的最高巅峰。

本单元侧重于对人物外貌及性格特征的描述,我将充分利用网络资源、图像、自制PPT 课件、词卡、人物头饰等等教学工具,通过多种趣味游戏活动加以训练稳固所学新词汇即句型,为学生们营造更多的游戏活动场景,鼓励学生灵活运用新学内容,积极参与各种对话活动,热情交流,整理并聚集成信息报告,并且鼓励学生们积极参与报告演讲,展现自己在本单元的欣喜收获。

包括Let’s try,Let’s talk和Ask the question and then pass it on.三个板块。

Let’s try是听力训练,是为Let’s talk部分做铺垫的。

Let’s talk是围绕本单元的总话题My day展开的第一个对话场景,即Sarah与Shopkeeper谈论有关Sarah的周末活动的对话,呈现了What do you do on the weekend? 的句型。

通过shopkeeper询问Sarah的周末活动情况,引出了Sarah对自己通常在周末一系列活动的详细介绍,使学生们了解到Sarah是一个很懂事、孝顺、善良、勤快、刻苦用功的好女孩,为学生们树立了一个非常好的目标形象,从而教育学生们在家一定要向Sarah学习,懂得为家人分担家务,做好自己力所能及的事情。

Ask the question and then pass it on.是为专项训练句型When do you…?创作的问答表演活动,用以巩固重点句型的熟练程度。

本课时是整个单元B部分的首课时,在本单元B部分中起引领与铺垫作用,重点掌握what do you do on the weekend?的问答句型和一些常用动词短语。

对话中呈现了一个问句多个回答的对话情景,加深了学生对该句型的认知度,接下来是一个活动版块,学生们以拉火车的形式进行传递式问答活动,如此这样,每个同学既能练习到回答句型,又能练习到询问句型,一举两得,并且增进相互了解与学习友谊,加深了同学之间的情感学习的氛围。

五年级的学生,有着三、四年级的学习英语的经历,具备一定的语言感知能力,并且在学习A部分打下了一定的知识基础,因此我准备依然采用多次呈现对话情景动画,通过声形并茂的方式,感染学生,使学生在新授之前,就可以了解对话内容,再鼓励学生模仿表演对话,感知新句型的应用功能,最后再提炼重点句型,通过游戏活动加以巩固。
