众观近几年的中考,英语试卷的中考分数已经不像刚刚实行新课程改革时的分数普遍偏高,而且满分的试卷相对较多。

尤其在使用了答题卡进行考试之后,学生的英语满分试卷更是少之又少。

这就不得不引发我们这些从事英语基础教育的教师们对英语教学的思考。

对近几年的英语中考试卷进行细致透彻的分析,我们不难发现,其实学生在英语考试中失分率最高的就是阅读理解和书面表达题型,而书面表达是最能体现学生的英语学习综合能力和英语水平的一道试题,也是优秀学生当中分数能够拉开档次的一道试题,而且书面表达的分值也由原来的十分变成了十五分,可见英语书面表达在英语考试中的重要性。

参加了近几年吉林市教育学院组织的中考英语试卷分析会,从数据当中我们得知在中考中能够达到110多分的学生在书面表达题型中竟然能丢失三到五分,中等生在作文方面失分率也很高,主要表现在审题不清楚,离题或要点不全。

语法错误较多,单词拼写混乱,汉语式英语相对较多等。

这对于优秀学生来说无疑是一个不小的损失。

为了解决这一难题,扫除作文障碍,从基础年级做起,作文英语教研组长的我,带领学校的所有英语教师在英语作文的教学方面进行了不断的思考、专研与探索,通过作文课的课堂教学,课后交流研讨,反复的实践与尝试,最终探索出了一条适合我校学生的英语作文教学与写作之路,即英语作文“五步教学法”。

一、审题目
在学生的作文中,常常会出现作文离题、偏题或要点不全的现象,而产生这些错误的主要原因就是审题不清,没有切中题意。

所以作文教学的第一步就是审题目,不让学生急着下笔,主要是分析作文的题材,是议论文、记叙文还是说明文,确定好作文的人称和主体时态,在写作中最常用的时态就是一般现在时,一般过去时和一般将来时。

明确作文的主题,避免跑题现象的发生。

二、列提纲
为了避免疏漏作文要求中的要点,在动笔写作前列提纲是非常关
键的。

列提纲的目的是为成文做好充分的准备。

所以。

在审题的基础上首先要确定好内容情节,划分必要的段落。

英语作文中主要采用的是三段式结构,即第一段的引领段,用来引出下文。

第二段的中心段,用来体现文章的主要内容。

第三段的总阶段,用来总结全文,点明主旨。

其次是锁定好关键词、句,形成作文的大致框架。

如作文My plan for the coming school year.指导学生列出第一段的提纲即引出话题,包括两方面;finish my studies 和start my new school life.中心段从学习、生活两方面谈论新学期计划。

总阶段让学生谈
论感想,也就是feelings .这样就能为成文做好充分的准备。

三、连词成文
此环节主要是在列提纲的基础上根据要点连词成句,连句成文,并让学生选择恰当的连接词进行打草稿,使句与句之间,段落与段落之间连接的更加紧凑。

交给学生常见的连接词,如表顺序的连接词:
firstly,secondly,lastly.表示强调的词,besides,also,what’s more等。

表时间的词如:at first ,then ,later,in the end,at last 等。

提倡学生使用高级词汇,以增加文章的美感和深度。

只有使用好恰当的连接词,文章才会结构严谨,行云流水。

四、修改润色
由于学生的英语考试时间是十分宽松的。

所以要求学生在打完草稿之后,必须对草稿进行修改润色。

修改主要从以下几个方面进行,一是再次审题,看要点是否齐全。

二是看文章的结构是否紧凑。

三是看是否运用了高级词汇,是否能将学过的优美词句、名言警句恰当、合理地运用到作文中,以增加文章的美感。

四是仔细地检查单词的拼写和语法错误以及大小写是否运用的准确恰当,人称是否准确,主谓是否一致,不要让学生犯低级性的错误。

五、誊写美文
在英语写作中,书写也是至关重要的一环。

书写质量的好坏会直接影响学生作文分数的高低。

因此强制学生一定要将所列出的草稿进行认真细致的抄写,尽量不要勾抹,书写美观,一气呵成。

总之,通过我们英语组教师的不断专研与探索,英语写作课教学已经初见成效,学生也已经将这’五步法”铭记心中,但是,在实际的教学中,我们的作文教学还存在这诸多的不足,学生的作文能力还有许多不尽人意的地方。
