It often becomes the first choice for business people because of its speed. It is especially an ideal means of transportation when traveling a long distance. Major airlines usually have an annual turnover of more than one billion dollars. Their planes fly between major cities. Regional airlines often provide flights of short distances. Their planes fly between smaller cities and towns. Both major airlines and regional airlines provide scheduled flights. However, chartered airlines usually do not provide flights according to a regular schedule. They rent planes and crew to people by charging set fees. Most chartered planes fly round trips which go abroad or to domestic resorts.
