Unit 10 Hunting for a Job一、单元整体解读及分析Unit 10 Hunting for a Job单元内容分析本单元主题为Hunting for a Job, 主要介绍求职和面试方面的内容。

通过学习本单元,学生可以掌握一些面试场合的交际用语,学习如何写简历和求职信;学到一些面试技巧,增强面试信心,提高面试应对能力,为将来的职场面试做好准备。

学生情况分析教授本单元的时间在高二的下学期,大部分学生已经掌握了一定的词汇量和语法。

因此,本单元在讲授时将着重于学生的听力、口语和写作能力的提高,并能运用到将来的工作求职和工作面试中,使其能顺利通过面试,为将来的工作做好前期的铺垫。

课时划分第1课时:Warming up和Listening and Speaking 中的单词以及基本句型。

(将Listening and Speaking中的单词和句型调整到第1课时,扫清单词障碍,将重点放到听和说中。

)第2课时:Listening and Speaking和Skill Practice. (重点培养学生的听说能力。

因Skill Practice中内容和面试中的表达方式有关,特调整到此处,提醒学生注意恰当的表达方式。

)第3课时:Reading and Writing. (要求学生能理解课文内容,根据课文内容填写相应的表格, 并能仿照表格填写个人的简历表,为第4课时的写作打下伏笔。

)第4课时:Writing—An application letter. (将For Better Performance的内容调整到这一课时,重点讲授求职信的写法,要求学生仿照Reading and Writing 中的课文,写求职信。

根据第3课时中学生填写的简历表和将来自己的工作志向,写自己的求职信。

)第5课时:Grammar,Language in Use,Pronunciation Exercise 和Around the World. (因语法相对简单,将Around the World的内容调整到此处,使学生了解一些关于美国的青少年做兼职工作的事情,扩大学生的知识面。

Unit 10 Why was it built(第一课时教学设计)一、教材分析1.教学内容第十单元的第一课时,包括Lead-in & Listening and speaking两部分,具体内容为:了解有关著名的建筑物,听懂关于著名建筑物的建造时间、所在位置及其他简单信息。

2.教学重点、难点⑴教学重点听懂关于著名建筑物的简单信息,并掌握有关表达建筑物的建造时间、所在位置等简单信息的词汇、句型。

⑵教学难点获得在相对真实的情境下用合适的方式和语句询问和回答有关建筑物信息的能力。

三、教学目标1.知识目标(1)了解世界著名建筑物的专有名词,如:the Palace Museum, the Golden Gate Bridge, Stonehenge, Sydney Opera House, the Pisa Tower, the Taj Mahal etc.(2)掌握与著名建筑物有关的词汇和短语,如guide, tourist, design, locate, revolution, pyramid, stair, expert, keep out, collection, congress,include, more than, rebuild, describe, description, electricity, etc(3)掌握表达建筑物的建造时间、所在位置等简单信息的词汇、句型。
