MPA strength must comply with SABS 0164-1 (10MPA=2, 6:1 and 5MPA=4:1). Ensure that surfaces are sound and free from dust, rust, oil, grease, dirt, and debris. Surfaces must be thoroughly dry - no more than 12% moisture content.NEW SURFACESCement Plaster (non-friable), Fibre Cement and Composite Boarding·It is recommended that fresh plaster should be allowed one week drying for every 5mm thickness; and longer in cold or damp weather.·Spot-prime metal strips and nail heads with appropriate metal primer.·For best paint system performance prime with one full coat Dulux Plaster Primer or Dulux Trade Alkali Resistant Primer.·Rough surfaces may be filled with Dulux Pre-Paint Smoothover or Dulux Trade Fillercoat to create a smooth base of even porosity.DULUX PEARLGLO WATER-BASEDSURFACE PREPARATIONNEW SURFACESGypsum Plaster - Interior·Newly applied Gypsum Plaster can present variable surface finishes based on the application method, the quality and type of gypsum plaster used. This can presentvariability in the finish of the applied gypsum in terms of surface hardness, texture and porosity. This may require added attention during priming.·Ensure the gypsum plaster is sound and non-friable, applied and cured as per the manufacturer’s specifications·After wiping down the gypsum plaster, no chalky powder should remain on the surface.·If the gypsum is sound, apply a single coat Dulux Plaster Primer or Dulux Trade Alkali Resistant Primer.·As gypsum plaster is a very porous surface, adsorption of the applied plaster primer may occur. To test for this, wipe a black cloth over the dried applied Dulux Plaster Primer or Dulux Trade Alkali Resistant Primer to test its integrity. If a white residue is found on the back of the cloth, apply 1 to 2 further coats of the respective Dulux Plaster Primer or Dulux Trade Alkali Resistant Primer applied, to achieve the correct binding and sealing properties.Concrete·Remove any uncured cement, grease, and mould release agents by high-pressure water blast, or wash with a strong solution of Dulux Pre-Paint Sugar Soap /watersolution. Rinse off thoroughly with clean water and allow drying.·For best paint system performance prime with one full coat Dulux Plaster Primer or Dulux Trade Alkali Resistant PrimerWooden Surfaces·Timber treated with borer- or fire retardant may cause slow drying (consult supplier).·Treat knots in timber with Knotting Agent.·Spot prime nail heads with Dulux Rustshield or Dulux Steel Primer.·Special attention must be given to painting the end grain to avoid moisture penetration -apply a second coat after 10 - 20 minutes.·Prime with one coat Dulux Wood Primer. Two coats may be required for very absorbent wood. Alternatively, wooden surfaces can be primed with Dulux Supergrip to support a water-based paint system.·For best paint system performance follow Dulux Wood Primer with Dulux Universal Undercoat before applying the selected finishing coat.DULUX PEARLGLO WATER-BASEDSURFACE PREPARATIONNEW SURFACESGalvanised Iron (non-roof surfaces), Aluminium and all non-ferrous metals ·Remove all traces of temporary protective coating, dirt and grease from the surface with Dulux Galvanised Iron Cleaner.Ensure complete removal of Dulux Galvanised Iron Cleaner by rinsing with running water. A water-break free surface indicates thorough cleaning - running water should not form droplets. If a water-break free surface was not achieved, repeat the cleaning process·Prime immediately after cleaning with two coats Dulux Rustshield or with one to two coats Dulux Galvanised Iron Primer, depending on the severity of the conditions. Two coats recommended for coastal conditions.·For best paint system performance follow primer with Dulux Universal Undercoat before applying the selected finishing coat.Mild Steel and Iron·Inspect shop-primer thoroughly for damage by installation. Abrade new surfaces lightly and remove rust, mill scale by sanding, scraping or with steel wire brushes back tosound mild steel and iron or sandblast to SA 2½.·Ensure that the sanded areas are dry and free of grease and dust. A solvent wash (rags dipped in lacquer thinner) may be used. Change the rags frequently. Allow drying, OR clean with Dulux Galvanised Iron Cleaner according to technical data sheet.·Prime immediately after preparation with two coats Dulux Rustshield or with one to two coats Dulux Steel Primer, depending on the severity of the conditions. Two coatsrecommended for coastal conditions.·For best paint system performance follow primer with Dulux Universal Undercoat before applying the selected finishing coat.PVC Gutters/Downpipes·Sand well to improve adhesion. Ensure surface is clean and dry.·Prime with one coat Dulux Supergrip.PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACESGood Condition, not powdery·Remove any loose and flaking paint back to a sound substrate and firm edges by scraping and sanding.·Clean surfaces with Dulux Pre-Paint Sugar Soap/water solution to remove all surface contaminates and chalky residue, rinse with clean water to remove all traces of theDulux Sugar Soap treatment and allow drying out.DULUX PEARLGLO WATER-BASEDSURFACE PREPARATIONPREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACESGood Condition, not powdery (Continued)·For exterior application can high pressure water jet cleaning be used as an alternative to the Dulux Pre-Paint Sugar Soap treatment.·Spot prime bare exposed substrates with appropriate primer.·Enamel surfaces need to be sanded to a matt finish to aid adhesion before commencing with the Dulux Pre-Paint Sugar Soap /water solution treatment.·Apply build-up coats of Dulux Universal Undercoat to newly primed areas.Old Paint in Poor Condition·Completely remove all loose and flaking paint.·Remove oil, grease dirt or any other contaminants with Dulux Pre-Paint Sugar Soap/water solution and allow drying.·Friable surfaces must be removed and repaired.·Chalked surfaces must be thoroughly brushed or prepared with high pressure water cleaning. NOTE: While this product can be used for sealing exterior chalked or slightly friable surfaces, it will not penetrate thick layers of powdery material.Dulux Bonding Liquid which is un-pigmented, is preferred.·Mould instructions. To kill lichen and algae growth, scrub with one of the following solutions: either 4:1 water/chlorine, or 4:1 water/sodium hypochlorite. Ensure that the areas are completely saturated, and allow the solution to react for a minimum of 4hours. Rinse the complete wall surface thoroughly with clean water and allow drying.·Prime all exposed areas with appropriate primer as for new surfaces.FILLINGFill all imperfections with the appropriate Dulux Pre-Paint filler and spot prime filled areas with Dulux Plaster Primer or Dulux Trade Alkali Resistant Primer once the crack filler has dried properly. Failure to do this will result in uneven sheen levels between the repaired and normal areas.HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATIONThis product contains no added lead. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Keep out of reach of children. If accidently swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container to the doctor. Dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and/or hazardous fumes. Wet sanding should be used wherever possible.If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used. 近几年立邦的销量直线下滑，明显不如自己的主要竞争对手多乐士了，其乳胶漆的环保性很一般，当初我们国家在制定环保质量标准的时候，为了他提高了三倍，把VOC/L的合格率放到了200g/L，小日本一贯的伎俩就是把劣等货品销售到亚太区，把一流的产品出口欧美，所以这些品牌里面我最不会选择的涂料就是立邦了。

常州的来威销量主要靠装修公司跑量，现在很多大的装修公司都用来威乳胶漆，东西确实不错，但是单位造价一般装修公司都要放到30元/平方，而实际上合理的单位造价应该在20元/平方以下。
现在来威在国内有上海和廊坊2个生产工厂，最近苏州也投产，生产已经全部国产化了，如果价格可以控制在17元/平方，我觉得还是比较值。
但是遗憾的是来威的检测报告上只写了VOC含量低于80g/L，而且检测报告不对外，很遗憾。
不过来威抗碱性能优异，不易起粉、耐气候变化，很耐擦洗，功能性上的表现还是很优异的。
多乐士，隶属总部设在英国的ICI公司，多乐士现在差不多就是民用乳胶漆的代名词了，没有进口产品，产品线很宽，从100多到400多的产品都有，进入我们国家的时间也很早，现在基本算是民用的霸主了，广告的播放率很高，做得也很温馨。
产品的名字比较多，皓郎系列号称可以使室内面积看起来增加一倍，我看过皓郎的效果，没感觉放大居室面积，漆膜不错，所以感觉也是玩了个概念，最近又有抗甲醛全效系列推出，应该是多乐士里面最高档的品牌了吧，不知道其综合性能怎么样。
