你知道世界上最冷和最热的地方在哪里吗？
世界上最冷的地方在南极洲，年平均气温在-25℃以下，绝对最低气温达-88.3 0C，也曾出现过-94.5℃的记录。
这由于那里的纬度高，而且是一个冰封的大陆，同时又是世界上风暴最大的地区。
此外，在有人居住的大陆上，世界上最冷的地方可以算是俄罗斯东西伯利亚的维尔霍扬斯克和奥伊米娅康地区了。
维尔霍扬斯克和奥伊米娅康地区全年平均气温在-15℃左右，冬季3个月在-40 0C以下。
维尔霍扬斯克绝对最低温度是-68℃（1892年），奥伊米娅康更达-78℃（1933年）。
世界上最热的地方在非洲的埃塞俄比亚的马萨瓦。
马萨瓦在红海边上，1月份平均温度在26℃左右，七月份平均温度为35℃，全年平均温度在26℃左右，七月份平均温度为35℃，全年平均温度为30.2℃。
可见这里月月高温，热不可耐，几乎天天都是盛夏。
至于世界上最高温度出现的地点，是在非洲的索马里。
在那里阴影处测得的温度高达63℃。
据说在非洲的撒哈拉沙漠中温度更高，鸡蛋放进去自己会熟，不过那是沙温而不是气温。
