My special thanks life has given me beautiful university time, this will is my life the most important most beautiful stage. After decade, it is that I will tell my my child university time so beautiful. When people were born, many things had been determined. Some were given genius, some were not.It#39;s really a hard work that people who had mental problems grown of them had their IQ below 70,some even lower. When they grew up,their mental age would still remain a level of child. The Special Olympics was the game of these people.Started in the year 1968,the special Olympics had developed to have more than 170 countries joined in,and tens of thousand athletes took part in it.Special Olympic players swore:let me win ,but if I cannot win,let me be brave in the attempt. The loof TitanicThe great ship, Titanic, sailed for New YorkfromSouthampton on April 10th, 1912. She was carrying 1316 passengers and a crew of 89l. Even by modern standards, the 46,000 ton Titanic was a colossal ship. At that time, however, she was not only the largest ship that had ever been built, but was regarded as unsinkable, for she had sixteen water- tight compartments. Even if two of these were flooded, she would still be able to float. The tragic sinking of this great liner will always be remembered, for she went down on her first voyage with heavy loof life.Four days after setting out, while the Titanic was sailing acrothe icy waters of the North Atlantic, a huge iceberg was suddenly spotted by a look-out. After the alarm had been given, thegreat ship turned sharply to avoid a direct collision. The Titanic turned just in time, narrowly missing the immense wall of ice which rose over 100 feet out of the water beside her. Suddenly, there was a slight trembling soundfrombelow, and the captain went down to see what had happened. The noise had been so faint that no one thought that the ship had been damaged. Below, the captain realized to his horror that the Titanic was sinking rapidly, for five of her sixteen water-tight compartments had already been flooded ! The order to abandon ship was given and hundreds of people plunged into the icy water. As there were not enough life-boats for everybody, 1500 lives were lost.竞选英语演讲稿篇二Thank you! Oh, thank you all! Thank you so very, very much.It is wonderful to be here with all of you.To be in New York with my family, with so many friends, including many New Yorkers who gaveme the honor of serving them in the Senate for eight years. To be right across the water from the headquarters of the United Nations, where I representedour country many times. To be here in this beautiful park dedicated to Franklin Roosevelt's enduring vision of America, the nation we want to be.And in a place…with absolutely no ceilings. You know, President Roosevelt's Four Freedoms are a testament to our nation's unmatchedaspirations and a reminder of our unfinished work at home and abroad. His legacy lifted up anation and inspired presidents who followed. One is the man I served as Secretary of State,Barack Obama, and another is my husband, Bill Clinton. Two Democrats guided by – Oh, that will make him so happy. They were and are twoDemocrats guided by the fundamental American belief that real and lasting prosperity mustbe built by all and shared by all.President Roosevelt called on every American to do his or her part, and every Americananswered. He said there's no mystery about what it takes to build a strong and prosperousAmerica: "Equality of opportunity…Jobs for those who can work…Security for those who needit…The ending of special privilege for the few…The preservation of civil liberties for all…awider and constantly rising standard of living."That still sounds good to me.It's America's basic bargain. If you do your part, you ought to be able to get ahead. And wheneverybody does their part, America gets ahead too. That bargain inspired generations of families, including my own. It's what kept my grandfather going to work in the same Scranton lace mill every day for 50years.It's what led my father to believe that if he scrimped and saved, his small business – printingdrapery fabric in Chicago – could provide us with a middle-class life. And it did. When President Clinton honored the bargain, we had the longest peacetime expansion inhistory, a balanced budget, and for the first time in decades we all grew together, with thebottom 20 percent of workers increasing their incomes by the same percentage as the top 5percent.When President Obama honored the bargain, we pulled back from the brink ofDepression, saved the auto industry, provided health care to 16 million working people, and replaced thejobs we lost faster than the historical average after a financial crash. But, it's not 1941, or 1993, or even 20xx. We face new challenges in our economy and ourdemocracy. We're still working our way back from a crisis that happened because time-tested values werereplaced by false promises.Instead of an economy built by every American, for every American, we were told that if we letthose at the top pay lower taxes and bend the rules, their success would trickle down toeveryone else.英语演讲稿篇三After being cheated of the meat by the fox, the crow stood on the branchand scolded for three days and three nights.Since then, crows are very wary of foxes, afraid of being cheatedagain. One day, the crow found a piece of meat. It took the meat in its mouth andstopped on the branch to rest.He was very alert. He looked left and right for fear that the meat would becheated by the sly fox again. At this time, the fox is humming a little song in the walk, smelling thesmell of meat, followed the fragrance. After a while, he came to the tree where the crow stopped. When the fox saw that it was a crow, he was very happy. He thought tohimself: This crow is very stupid. Last time he said that his singing was good,he cheated the meat away.It looks like another piece of meat is coming this time.Seeing that it was a fox, the crow immediately hung the meat on the branchand asked warily, "brother fox, I havent seen you for a long time. What are youdoing this time?"The fox said calmly, "its nothing more than to admit the mistake with thebrother crow."The crow said angrily, "brother fox, dont be hurt!"The fox pretended to be a little sad and said, "brother crow, last time Imsorry for you. I lied to you because I was wrong. I deserve to die! This time, you can do whatever you want to do to me!"The crow said, "then you will return the meat you cheated me lasttime."When the fox heard this, he was very angry and forced to bear the anger inhis heart and said: "brother crow, I have eaten the meat last time.I know a place where there is a lot of meat. Its not a long way. I have nostrength. You give me your piece of meat to eat. When I have strength, I willtake two back to you. "The crow listened happily and said, "well, Ill give you the meat." Then hetook the meat off the branch and gave it to the fox.The fox ate the meat and said to the crow, "wait, Ill get the meat foryou." With that, the fox left in a hurry. After a long time, the crow didnt see the fox come back, just suddenlyrealized that he had been cheated again.英语演讲稿篇四Ladies and gentlemen! Good morning! Today, the title of my speech is Improving Beijing's environment for the Olympics. Have you ever seen animals cry? Do you know what makes themcry? It's the polluted world, a dirty world, caused by our irresponsible behaviors, that makes those lovely animals cry. Many of us are smart enough to know how terrible it is to have a world without animals and plants. But some people still persist in making the same errors and harming the environment. What's worse is that people are eating wild animals. Those people don't know, and more importantly, they don't want to know. This kind of behavior has caused some specific problems. For example, medical experts have suggested that eating wild animals helped spread the terrible disease SARS. Now, our world is no longer clean and beautiful. Why? Because air, water, and noise pollution has become more and more serious. Noise pollution makes us talk more loudly and become angry more easily. Water pollution makes our rivers and lakes very dirty. Air pollution is the most serious kind of pollution. Both air pollution and water pollution are not only dangerous to our health, but also dangerous to animals and plants. We're destroying our only world. A large number of trees have been cut down, so a lot of lands have been turned into deserts. Pollution can be seen everywhere! Unquestionably it is essential that we clean up our environment. Sadly, we've not always appreciated the importance of protecting the environment. On the streets, you can see cars producing smog. In the bathrooms, you can see students leaving the water tap on after using them. Not only the young people, but also the elderly ones throw things everywhere without thinking its wrong, even in a beautiful park. These things are taking place every day, even in modern cities like Beijing. We can't do that any more. We must learn how to protect the environment. If everyone is aware of protecting it instead of destroying it, the world can become cleaner, more beautiful, and more peaceful. The theme of Beijing 20xx Olympic Games is "New Peking, New Olympic"。

英语著名的演讲稿篇1[authenticity certified: text version below transcribed directly from audio. (2)]less than three months ago at platform hearings in salt lake city, i asked the republican party to lift the shroud of silence which has been draped over the issue of hiv and aids. i have e tonight to bring our silence to an end. i bear a message of challenge, not self-congratulation. i want your attention, not your applause.i would never have asked to be hiv positive, but i believe that in all things there is a purpose; and i stand before you and before the nation gladly. the reality of aids is brutally clear. two hundred thousand americans are dead or dying. a million more are infected. worldwide, forty million, sixty million, or a hundred million infections will be counted in the ing few years. but despite science and research, white house meetings, and congressional hearings, despite good intentions and bold initiatives, campaign slogans, and hopeful promises, it is -- despite it all -- the epidemic which is winning tonight.in the context of an election year, i ask you, here in this great hall, or listening in the quiet of your home, to recognize that aids virus is not a political creature. it does not care whether you are democrat or republican; it does not ask whether you are black or white, male or female, gay or straight, young or old.tonight, i represent an aids munity whose members have been reluctantly drafted from every segment of american society. though i am white and a mother, i am one with a black infant struggling with tubesin a philadelphia hospital. though i am female and contracted this disease in marriage and enjoy the warm support of my family, i am one with the lonely gay man sheltering a flickering candle from the cold wind of his family’s rejection.this is not a distant threat. it is a present danger. the rate of infection is increasing fastest among women and children. largely unknown a decade ago, aids is the third leading killer of young adult americans today. but it won’t be third for long, because unlike other diseases, this one travels. adolescents don’t give each other cancer or heart disease because they believe they are in love, but hiv is different; and we have helped it along. we have killed each other with our ignorance, our prejudice, and our silence.we may take refuge in our stereotypes, but we cannot hide there long, because hiv asks only one thing of those it attacks. are you human? and this is the right question. are you human? because people with hiv have not entered some alien state of being. they are human. they have not earned cruelty, and they do not deserve meanness. they don’t benefit from being isolated or treated as outcasts. each of them is exactly what god made: a person; not evil, deserving of our judgment; not victims, longing for our pity -- people, ready for support and worthy of passion.my call to you, my party, is to take a public stand, no less passionate than that of the president and mrs. bush. they have embraced me and my family in memorable ways. in the place of judgment, they have shown affection. in difficult moments, they have raised our spirits. in the darkest hours, i have seen them reaching not only to me, but also to my parents, armed with that stunning grief and special grace that es only to parents who have themselves leaned too long over the bedside of a dying child.with the president’s leadership, much good has been do ne. much ofthe good has gone unheralded, and as the president has insisted, much remains to be done. but we do the president’s cause no good if we praise the american family but ignore a virus that destroys it.we must be consistent if we are to be believed. we cannot love justice and ignore prejudice, love our children and fear to teach them. whatever our role as parent or policymaker, we must act as eloquently as we speak -- else we have no integrity. my call to the nation is a plea for awareness. if you believe you are safe, you are in danger. because i was not hemophiliac, i was not at risk. because i was not gay, i was not at risk. because i did not inject drugs, i was not at risk.my father has devoted much of his lifetime guarding against another holocaust. he is part of the generation who heard pastor nemoellor e out of the nazi death camps to say,“they came after the jews, and i was not a jew, so, i did not protest. they came after the trade unionists, and i was not a trade unionist, so, i did not protest. then they came after the roman catholics, and i was not a roman catholic, so, i did not protest. then they came after me, and there was no one left to protest.”the -- the lesson history teaches is this: if you believe you are safe, you are at risk. if you do not see this killer stalking your children, look again. there is no family or munity, no race or religion, no place left in america that is safe. until we genuinely embrace this message, we are a nation at risk.tonight, hiv marches resolutely toward aids in more than a million american homes, littering its pathway with the bodies of the young -- young men, young women, young parents, and young children. one of the families is mine. if it is true that hiv inevitably turns to aids, then my children will inevitably turn to orphans. my family has been a rock of support.my 84-year-old father, who has pursued the healing of the nations, will not accept the premise that he cannot heal his daughter. my mother refuses to be broken. she still calls at midnight to tell wonderful jokes that make me laugh. sisters and friends, and my brother phillip, whose birthday is today, all have helped carry me over the hardest places. i am blessed, richly and deeply blessed, to have such a family.but not all of you -- but not all of you have been so blessed. you are hiv positive, but dare not say it. you have lost loved ones, but you dare not whisper the word aids. you weep silently. you grieve alone. i have a message for you. it is not you who should feel shame. it is we -- we who tolerate ignorance and practice prejudice, we who have taught you to fear. we must lift our shroud of silence, making it safe for you to reach out for passion. it is our task to seek safety for our children, not in quiet denial, but in effective action.someday our children will be grown. my son max, now four, will take the measure of his mother. my son zachary, now two, will sort through his memories. i may not be here to hear their judgments, but i know already what i hope they are. i want my children to know that their mother was not a victim. she was a messenger. i do not want them to think, as i once did, that courage is the absence of fear. i want them to know that courage is the strength to act wisely when most we are afraid. i want them to have the courage to step forward when called by their nation or their party and give leadership, no matter what the personal cost.i ask no more of you than i ask of myself or of my children. to the millions of you who are grieving, who are frightened, who have suffered the ravages of aids firsthand: have courage, and you will find support. to the millions who are strong, i issue the plea: set aside prejudice and politics to make room for passion and sound policy.to my children, i make this pledge: i will not give in, zachary, because i draw my courage from you. your silly giggle gives me hope; your gentleprayers give me strength; and you, my child, give me the reason to say to america, "you are at risk." and i will not rest, max, until i have done all i can to make your world safe. i will seek a place where intimacy is not the prelude to suffering. i will not hurry to leave you, my children, but when i go, i pray that you will not suffer shame on my account.to all within the sound of my voice, i appeal: learn with me the lessons of history and of grace, so my children will not be afraid to say the word "aids" when i am gone. then, their children and yours may not need to whisper it at all.god bless the children, and god bless us all.good night.英语著名的演讲稿篇2as americans gather to celebrate this week, we show our gratitude for the many blessings in our lives. we are grateful for our friends and families who fill our lives with purpose and love. we're grateful for our beautiful country, and for the prosperity we enjoy. we're grateful for the chance to live, work and worship in freedom. and in this thanksgiving week, we offer thanks and praise to the provider of all these gifts, almighty god.we also recognize our duty to share our blessings with the least among us. throughout the holiday season, schools, churches, synagogues and other generous organizations gather food and clothing for their neighbors in need. many young people give part of their holiday to volunteer at homeless shelters or food pantries. on thanksgiving, and on every day of the year, america is a more hopeful nation because of the volunteers who serve the weak and the vulnerable.the thanksgiving tradition of passion and humility dates back to the earliest days of our society. and through the years, our deepest gratitude has often been inspired by the most difficult times. almost four centuriesago, the pilgrims set aside time to thank god after suffering through a bitter winter. george washington held thanksgiving during a trying stay at valley forge. and president lincoln revived the thanksgiving tradition in the midst of a civil war.the past year has brought many challenges to our nation, and americans have met every one with energy, optimism and faith. after lifting our economy from a recession, manufacturers and entrepreneurs are creating jobs again. volunteers from across the country came together to help hurricane victims rebuild. and when the children of beslan, russia suffered a brutal terrorist attack, the world saw america's generous heart in an outpouring of passion and relief.the greatest challenges of our time have e to the men and women who protect our nation. we're fortunate to have dedicated firefighters and police officers to keep our streets safe. we're grateful for the homeland security and intelligence personnel who spend long hours on faithful watch. and we give thanks to the men and women of our military who are serving with courage and skill, and making our entire nation proud.英语著名的演讲稿篇3hello, everyone !my name is i’m from class 1, i’m very happy to stand here to give you my free-talk. today my topic is “to be a good failure”.ibelieve everyone has experienced a lot . we have done good things and also bad things. when we do the bad things, we should not feel sad. we should learn from failure ,learn from every mistake and learn how to be a good loser. that’s what i'll be talking about today. that's our lesson to learn. let me tell you why.first, losing is a part of life. it is unavoidable. it is something we all must face. everybody loses sometimes. every great person knows this truth. so don't be ashamed of losing. losing doesn't mean you're a loser.second, don’t escape from it, just accept it. losing is beneficial and can be helpful to you. we just view it as a learning experience. losing is a chance to learn. you can learn how to try again and improve.third, practice makes perfect. create challenges for yourself. never be afraid of failure. lose as much as you can. losing only makes you better. that is a great secret of success.in conclusion, remember these. you will be a good loser. it might be painful at first. but it will get easier as you go along. you'll be respected and admired. you'll feel so achievement to learn so much. you are not the real failure ,you will be a winner in future.英语著名的演讲稿篇4ever since the dawning of the history of mankind, there have been myriads of diversifed inventions, discoveries, and even explorations of the mysteries of the universe. in fact, the human beings are so intelligent that we have solved almost all kinds of problems we have confronted with.however, nobody has ever made out what the word love really connotes, not even the most famous people such as great politicians, saints and philosophers can clarify the meaning of love, neither can they deal with the various affairs concerning love. love is like a huge boundless net that shrouds us all in. we can neither break away from it nor escape from it. like it or not, we are always entangled in it. it is an invisible net without any form, that shrouds in different people from different angels; it is a merciless net that upsets us or even tortures us to death. it is also a supreme net which almost no human can surpass. even if they are heroes, emperors, wise men or saints, they can do nothing but show their helplessness in its face. those who can breathe through the holes of the net should be regarded beyond monness and vulgarity. love can bring us temporary fort and happiness, but mostly they bring about annoyance and sufferings. maybe this is the reason why many people have seen throughthe illusions of the mortal world. however it is not so easy to break away from this boundless, ever-existing and indifferent net of love.love is varied and changeable, but roughly it can be divided into three categories: family love, fraternal love and amatory love. not like monkey king who jumped out of the rocks, we were all born after mother's pregnancy of about nine months, hence we have countless relatives without any choice: parents, grand-parents, and grand-parents-in-law, uncles and aunties, brothers and sisters, etc. and once looking at the genealogical tree, we'll see no end. family love is what everyone longs for, but the warmth and support from our beloved ones are what everyone yearns for the most. but how many of us are determined to contribute to our beloved one? and how many don't expect repayment and relaxed. conscience even if they have the desire and preparation to contribute to their beloved. the distance between relatives is different and so are their expectations. but since it's very difficult to know how much we should expect, a lot of worries and distresses emerge.parents always expect their children to show their filial obedience, or at least pay them frequent visits after they have got married. if the children fail to do this, they feel hurt and upset, and they'll even plain about their children, because they just can't understand why their children don't care about them after what they have done for the children for so many years to bring them up. nevertheless, one's experience determines his ideology. young children are naturally attached to their parents, but when they grow up, specially when they have made their own friends, and got married, what they need most is independence and freedom, and parents sometimes might bee their burden. once there is generation gap, it bees more difficult to municate and this keeps them away from their parents. objectively speaking, they need more independence in order to achieve success. in the present society, what the children want to havemost is the economic support from their parents, not their moral support or guidance. they would plain if your economic support is not up to their expectations. the love from uncles and aunties would naturally dwindle after they have had their own children. only the love from grand-parents and grand parents-in-law is pure and demands no repayment, and they are also too old to wait for any repayment. as for the distant relatives, their love depends on their needs, just as the old saying goes the poor have no friends even if they live in downtown while the rich have distant relatives even if they live in deep mountains。

But I believe that my image is not "the gentlest hands, skin, such as Diorskin"Lin Daiyu, nor is the modern "unkempt and shabby","Su Qier". We are a symbol of hope and vitality. So we show in front of others should be inserted without pleats, face without scale, modest and polite gestures exudes a stream of heroic spirit, the image of the vigor and vitality of the modern new youth,a into the embodiment of the spirit of nature.Someone once said, life is a kind of hardness, integrity and dignity of life is propped up the hardness of bone. "Better life"and "the Kui back in the day,and not ashamed on the ground",which is always the traditional virtue of the China. Li Bai's "the eyebrow nengcui Zheyaoshan powerful thing,so that I may not be happy Yan"this awe inspiring atmosphere of the verse and whether it will make those no self-esteem people to shame?Loss of self-esteem is a worthless person, and we as the vanguard of the times,if drown in the darkness forever,or to do a dauntless hero, a flower in the wind and rain sonorous rose. The answer is self-evident. Desert desolate also has the monument stands,Castle Peak again proud, but also have the great wall around, the river again quiet, also there is a dragon in the recumbent. But the time can be changed, our image, our glory remains the same. Because we pride, because we are confident, because we have a fresh life. And because of this,it is a vast desert riparian long,Qingshan wasevergreen, the hardness of life is forever. 此时此刻,我们心潮澎湃,i’mveryproudofbeingamemberofthisexperimentalhighschool!becauseinthisgrowingcra dle, wecanbreathefreshaireveryday;wecanhavetherichestnutrition;wecangetthelatestnews;wecanseethenewestworld.我为我是实验高中的一员感到骄傲和自豪!因为在这个成长的摇篮里,我们每天都能呼吸到新鲜的空气;拥有着最新的血液;感受着最新的时代脉搏;看到世界的日新月异。

英语演讲稿篇一Ladies and Gentlemen:My topic is Honesty. As a correspondent of the Qingdao Morning News, I visited Dr. James Gilman, the President of the International Committee for Marco Polo Studies in England. In this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon’s tooth. This is a true story.65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. He often visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted one to keep as a treasure. He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 20xx, he visited Qingdao and returned it tothe Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm wele. When James visited Qingdao, I acpanied him all the time and reported on his visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I think to err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correct one’s error.Honesty is a vital quality of human behaviour. So we should try to keep an honest mind in everything we say and do. 英语演讲稿【优秀15篇】英语口语演讲稿篇一dear teacher and classmates:i am very glad to make a speech here in this class again! this time, id like to talk something about english.i love english. english language is now used everywhere in the world. it has become the most common language on internet and for international trade. learning english makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.when i was seven, my mother sent me to an english school. at there, i played games and sang english songs with other children . then i discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the english world.everyday, i read english following the tapes. sometimes, i watch english cartoons.on the weekend, i often go to the english corner. by talking with different people there, i have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral english.i hope i can travel around the world someday. i want to go to america to visit washington monument, because the presidentwashington is my idol. of course, i want to go to london too, because england is where english language developed. if i can ride my bike in cambridge university, i will be very happy.英语演讲篇二Efforts toward the success of the process, at first glance, like a black tunnel, sight of the head, such as Middle School graduating class of students, there are endless day of work, on the go, feel not enough sleep, many people every day, "the first cantilever cone piercing, to burn the midnight oil", a day in the "two line" between the hard work … … every day life is like a copier in print, everything is repeated.Do not forget, the sun is new!New, is a beautiful state of mind! The new sun, Is this not a hope?Every day see it, is like night and see the light of the black population, is it not a happiness?Yes, the weight of our heavy burden almost collapsed, too high expectations, we are firmly nailed to the ground, but perhaps the greatest burden is also a symbol of life enriched.Nietzsche said that people do not suffer the power of pessimism, so we do not have to smile toward victory, but the face of temporary difficulties, we have to smile, but also to heart smile.Indulge in the journey to success is to be truly "buried" go on, these days need to break the house in, calm down, only to maintain "calm the mind like water" state, to put the final sprint. We like that in the car, the destination, beautiful scenery along the way, it is tempting, but you better not to involve them too much energy, and make the eyes has been moving in the direction of the end, if the tolerance is not temporary living jumped out to enjoy the beauty, the car drove off, maybe you will see another vehicle, you might end up the same destination, but life is not your standard point moment. In a particular stage of life has a special mission.Study stage, is to achieve goals in life, when an important step, if miss this opportunity, you will be repentant, so severely heart, leaving the pretty girls for the time being a waste of time, the clothes and dress up, boys put aside their attractive comic books and computer games, put off that a distant "green apple" Love it!Summer, fall, fruit is not Abstract.Picked and eaten, not sweet gesture, or until the harvesting season, so go enjoy the harvest of joy in it!Set aside what irrelevant thoughts and move forward, looked up days, with the heart to see the world, because the sun always new.Softly said to himself: "If not me, the world will be less of a person appreciate the beautiful sun." Is such a state of mind, so you always wonderful for yourself!Spring, flowers, wind throw area; summer, flowers open, butterfly fluttering; autumn sky was clear and leaves as fire; winter, bleak, snowy, whether Hanlaishuwang, spring, summer autumn and winter, the sun rose as usual from … …No Better, I do not know who carried out normally enough, few people need to know how much effort to achieve the dream, we can only continue to move forward, forward, then forward, "We are seizing the day is long!"Seize the day, when you blankly; seize the day, when you depressed; seize the day, when you lazy, seize the day, at a time when you have a dream; the sun every day is new, Life is always full of hope, start now, take every moment, do not hesitate! So, thirty-one years ago today, I drove from Madison, Wisconsin, to Los Angeles, California. On the way, I passed Camp Randall, where my college graduation ceremony was in progress. I thought about going to the ceremony, but it meant I would've arrived in Hollywood one day later, and at the time I just didn't see the point. I wanted to get there.Gertrude Stein once said about Hollywood, "When you get there, there is no 'there' there." That's true. However, there will be a swimming pool and tennis court. In the end, though, it's probably not enough to justify a life's journey. Getting there, particularly in show business, is tough enough. You need a combination of talent, ambition, luck and a willingness to tell actors how beautiful they look today. In retrospect, getting there was the easy part. Finding a "there" there is much harder. So today, before you get into your cars and race off to the rest of your lives, I want to give you some advice on how to get there. And I want to help make sure that when you get there, you find a "there" there. To that end, I will give you my five rules to think about, quickly forget, but years from now kick yourself for not having listened to.

Good morning, ladies and gentemen. This is Li Hua from Senior Three. I’m here today to share with you a good lesson from an overseas Chinese student living in Germany. It is a true story. After years of hard work, this Chinese student graduated with amazing academic achievements. Everyone thought he was going to get a good job easily and have a bright future. But to his disappointment, he was not even allowed the chance for an interview! The third time he was turned down, he couldn’t help telephoning the company to ask why they didn’t want him. The answer was simple, “We don’t hire dishonest people in Germany.”What was wrong you might wonder? The truth is, shortly aften he arrived in Germany, this clever student found that it was easy to skip buying subway tickets. So, to save money, he often went without a ticket. As a result, he had been caught without a ticket in the subway three times. From this story, we learn that we may get short-term benefits by dishonest means, but the truth will come out sooner or later and the cost is high. So remember: honest is the best policy. That’s all for my speech. Thank you!优秀的英语演讲稿篇二The judges dear colleagues:Everybody is good!I believe that not long ago the unit of organization training to everyone left a deep impression that are in high altitude timid to conquer yourself after the joy of encouragement and warm embracetogether to complete the project after the excited tears dribs and drabs are so vivid and real stayed in our memory forever.Flow through the sweat and tears we can understand the what? From the beginning my team is faced with many difficulties:older on average physical quality is bad the heart not neat team such as fragmented.。

英语演讲稿篇一When I was in my 20s, I saw my very first psychotherapy client. I was a Ph.D. student in clinical psychology at Berkeley. She was a 26-year-old woman named Alex. Now Alex walked into her first session wearing jeans and a big slouchy top, and she dropped onto the couch in my office and kicked off her flats and told me she was there to talk about guy problems. Now when I heard this, I was so relieved. My classmate got an arsonist for her first client. (Laughter) And I got a twentysomething who wanted to talk about boys. This I thought I could handle. But I didn‘t handle it. With the funny stories that Alex would bring to session, it was easy for me just to nod my head while we kicked the can down the road. "Thirty‘s the new 20," Alex would say, and as far as I could tell, she was right. Work happened later, marriage happened later, kids happened later, even death happened later. Twentysomethings like Alex and I had nothing but time. But before long, my supervisor pushed me to push Alex about her love life. I pushed back.I said, "Sure, she‘s dating down, she‘s sleeping with a knucklehead, but it‘s not like she‘s going to marry the guy."And then my supervisor said, "Not yet, but she might marry the next one. Besides, the best time to work on Alex‘s marriage is before she has one."That‘s what psychologists call an "Aha!" moment. That was the moment I realized, 30 is not the new 20. Yes, people settle down later than they used to, but that didn‘t make Alex‘s 20s a developmental downtime. That made Alex‘s 20s a developmental sweet spot, and we were sitting there blowing it. That was when I realized that this sort of benign neglect was a real problem, and it had real consequences, not just for Alex and her love life but for the careers and the families and the futures of twentysomethings everywhere. There are 50 million twentysomethings in the United States right now. We‘re talking about 15 percent of the population, or 100 percent if you consider that no one‘s getting through adulthood without going through their 20s first.Raise your hand if you‘re in your 20s. I really want to see some twentysomethings here. Oh, yay! Y‘all‘s awesome. If you work with twentysomethings, you love a twentysomething, you‘re losing sleep over twentysomethings, I want to see — Okay. Awesome, twentysomethings really matter. So I specialize in twentysomethings because I believe that every single one of those 50 million twentysomethings deserves to know what psychologists, sociologists, neurologists and fertility specialists already know: that claiming your 20s is one of the simplest, yet most transformative, things you can do for work, for love, for your happiness, maybe even for the world. This is not my opinion. These are the facts. We know that 80 percent of life‘s most defining moments take place by age 35. That means that eight out of 10 of the decisions and experiences and "Aha!" moments that make your life what it is will have happened by your mid-30s. Peoplewho are over 40, don‘t panic. This crowd is going to be fine, I think. We know that the first 10 years of a career has an exponential impact on how much money you‘re going to earn. We know that more than half of Americans are married or are living with or dating their future partner by 30. We know that the brain caps off its second and last growth spurt in your 20s as it rewires itself for adulthood, which means that whatever it is you want to change about yourself, now is the time to change it. We know that personality changes more during your 20s than at any other time in life, and we know that female fertility peaks at age 28, and things get tricky after age 35. So your 20s are the time to educate yourself about your body and your options. So when we think about child development, we all know that the first five years are a critical period for language and attachment in the brain. It‘s a time when your ordinary, day-to-day life has an inordinate impact on who you will become. But what we hear less about is that there‘s such a thing as adult development, and our 20s are that critical period of adult development. But this isn‘t what twentysomethings are hearing. Newspapers talk about the changing timetable of adulthood. Researchers call the 20s an extended adolescence. Journalists coin silly nicknames for twentysomethings like "twixters" and "kidults." It‘s true. As a culture, we have trivialized what is actually the defining decade of adulthood.Leonard Bernstein said that to achieve great things, you need a plan and not quite enough time. Isn‘t that true? So what do you think happens when you pat a twentysomething on the head and you say, "You have 10 extra years to start your life"? Nothing happens. You have robbed that person of his urgency and ambition, and absolutely nothing happens. And then every day, smart, interesting twentysomethings like you or like your sons and daughters come into my office and say things like this: "I know my boyfriend‘s no good for me, but this relationship doesn‘t count. I‘m just killing time." Or they say, "Everybody says as long as I get started on a career by the time I‘m 30, I‘ll be fine."But then it starts to sound like this: "My 20s are almost over, and I have nothing to show for myself. I had a better reacute;sumeacute; the day after I graduated from college."And then it starts to sound like this: "Dating in my 20s was like musical chairs. Everybody was running around and having fun, but then sometime around 30 it was like the music turned off and everybody started sitting down. I didn‘t want to be the only one left standing up, so sometimes I think I married my husband because he was the closest chair to me at 30."Where are the twentysomethings here? Do not do that.Okay, now that sounds a little flip, but make no mistake, the stakes are very high. When a lot has been pushed to your 30s, there is enormous thirtysomething pressure to jump-start a career, pick a city, partner up, and have two or three kids in a much shorter period of time. Many of these things are incompatible, and as research is just starting to show, simply harder and more stressful to do all at once in our 30s.The post-millennial midlife crisis isn‘t buying a red sports car. It‘s realizing you can‘t have that career you now want. It‘s realizing you can‘t have that child you now want, or you can‘t give your child a sibling. Too many thirtysomethings and fortysomethings look at themselves, and at me, sitting across the room, and say about their 20s, "What was I doing? What was I thinking?"I want to change what twentysomethings are doing and thinking. Here‘s a story about how that can go. It‘s a story about a woman named Emma. At 25, Emma came to my office because she was, in her words, having an identity crisis. She said she thought she might like to work in art or entertainment, but she hadn‘t decided yet, so she‘d spentthe last few years waiting tables instead. Because it was cheaper, she lived with a boyfriend who displayed his temper more than his ambition. And as hard as her 20s were, her early life had been even harder. She often cried in our sessions, but then would collect herself by saying, "You can‘t pick your family, but you can pick your friends."Well one day, Emma comes in and she hangs her head in her lap, and she sobbed for most of the hour. She‘d just bought a new address book, and she‘d spent the morning filling in her many contacts, but then she‘d been left staring at that empty blank that comes after the words "In case of emergency, please call ... ." She was nearly hysterical when she looked at me and said, "Who‘s going to be there for me if I get in a car wreck? Who‘s going to take care of me if I have cancer?"Now in that moment, it took everything I had not to say, "I will." But what Emma needed wasn‘t some therapist who really, really cared. Emma needed a better life, and I knew this was her chance. I had learned too much since I first worked with Alex to just sit there while Emma‘s defining decade went parading by.So over the next weeks and months, I told Emma three things that every twentysomething, male or female, deserves to hear.First, I told Emma to forget about having an identity crisis and get some identity capital. By get identity capital, I mean do something that adds value to who you are. Do something that‘s an investment in who you might want to be next. I didn‘t know the future of Emma‘s career, and no one knows the future of work, but I do know this: Identity capital begets identity capital. So now is the time for that cross-country job, that internship, that startup you want to try. I‘m not discounting twentysomething exploration here, but I am discounting exploration that‘s not supposed to count, which, by the way, is not exploration. That‘s procrastination. I told Emma to explore work and make it count.Second, I told Emma that the urban tribe is overrated. Best friends are great for giving rides to the airport, but twentysomethings who huddle together with like-minded peers limit who they know, what they know, how they think, how they speak, and where they work. That new piece of capital, that new person to date almost always comes from outside the inner circle. New things come from what are called our weak ties, our friends of friends of friends. So yes, half of twentysomethings are un- or under-employed. But half aren‘t, and weak ties are how you get yourself into that group. Half of new jobs are never posted, so reaching out to your neighbor‘s boss is how you get that un-posted job. It‘s not cheating. It‘s the science of how information spreads.Last but not least, Emma believed that you can‘t pick your family, but you can pick your friends. Now this was true for her growing up, but as a twentysomething, soon Emma would pick her family when she partnered with someone and created a family of her own. I told Emma the time to start picking your family is now. Now you may be thinking that 30 is actually a better time to settle down than 20, or even 25, and I agree with you. But grabbing whoever you‘re living with or sleeping with when everyone on Facebook starts walking down the aisle is not progress. The best time to work on your marriage is before you have one, and that means being as intentional with love as you are with work. Picking your family is about consciously choosing who and what you want rather than just making it work or killing time with whoever happens to be choosing you.So what happened to Emma? Well, we went through that address book, and she found an old roommate‘s cousin who worked at an art museum in another state. That weak tie helped herget a job there. That job offer gave her the reason to leave that live-in boyfriend. Now, five years later, she‘s a special events planner for museums. She‘s married to a man she mindfully chose. She loves her new career, she loves her new family, and she sent me a card that said, "Now the emergency contact blanks don‘t seem big enough."Now Emma‘s story made that sound easy, but that‘s what I love about working with twentysomethings. They are so easy to help. Twentysomethings are like airplanes just leaving LAX, bound for somewhere west. Right after takeoff, a slight change in course is the difference between landing in Alaska or Fiji. Likewise, at 21 or 25 or even 29, one good conversation, one good break, one good TED Talk, can have an enormous effect across years and even generations to come.So here‘s an idea worth spreading to every twentysomething you know. It‘s as simple as what I learned to say to Alex. It‘s what I now have the privilege of saying to twentysomethings like Emma every single day: Thirty is not the new 20, so claim your adulthood, get some identity capital, use your weak ties, pick your family. Don‘t be defined by what you didn‘t know or didn‘t do. You‘re deciding your life right now. Thank you. (Applause)英语演讲稿篇二ladies and gentlemen:my great pleasure to share my dream with you today.i have kept the dream in my mind for so long that whoever in the sun is able to live a happy life for ever.i think this dream is deeply rooted in the future. as we can see, we are now not far away from violence, poverty, diseases, environmental pollution and evenwars. most of people are in need of what they have never enjoyed. however, i still can stick to my innermost dream, as i still can see the bright lights inour future. i believe, there will be a day when those from the rich counties are really willing to share what they have with those from the poor countries; there will be a day when we are surprised to find that the word poverty has long been out of our memories; there will be a day when we are together to share our dreams and we will all contribute to making our common dreams come true.i will not just wait but to take action to live in my dream.Thank you!英语演讲稿篇三Without sunlight, there is no day of warmth; No rain, no grain of good harvest; There is no water, no life; No parents, no our own; No affection, love and friendship, it is not accompanied by the warmth of love...Thanksgiving, let us take heart is content to observe and cherish the people around, things and objects; Thanksgiving, let us in gradually insipid numb, find life is so rich and wealthy; Thanksgiving, let us understand and taste the gifts of fate and the passion of life.Thank heaven and earth, thank fate, heaven and earth wide, bumpy, but as long as there is love in the heart, be grateful, we'll work hard, we can move on.We accept it with a grateful heart, listen to their words, more than ten years of reading, benefit a lot.
