【高中英语】英语应用文的写作方法(日记)日记是同学们在写书面表达时，认为最简单的一种记叙文。
写日记的目的是要记述自己在一天的学习或生活中的亲身经历，或者是自己所听到或看到的事；或是为了抒发个人感受，主观愿望，将来打算等等。
日记的内容丰富，题材非常广泛。
写日记时要注意以下几个方面的问题：日记的格式。
日记的格式与中文日记基本一致。
第一行写日期、星期和天气情况。
日期一般要顶格写，然后写上周日，最后在右上角写天气情况。
日期的写法常按月、日、年顺序，如：May31,2021 / May 31st,2021，也可按日、月、年来写。
天气情况通常用形容词表示，如：fine, cloudy, windy, sunny, rainy, snowy, cold, hot, cool, warm等。
正文部分另起一行，开头要用缩进式(留有约四个字母大小的空格)。
(1) 日记的人称。
根据日记的题材特点，一般使用第一人称。
(2) 日记的时态。
因为日记所记叙的通常是已经发生了的事情，所以一般用过去时。
但根据所写内容的不同情况，也可用一般现在时，如个人想法；或用将来时，如未来计划。
(3) 日记的写作顺序。
日记一般是按事情发生的过程或时间的先后顺序来组织材料的。
例如：NMET1998书面表达： 5月3日，你参观了一个农场。

日期通常采用两种写法：一种是按“月、日、年”顺序；另一种是按“日、月、年”的顺序。
注意要在年份之前有一个逗号，而且月份通常可用缩写词（如：Jan.，Feb.，Mar.等）。
如果需要写星期，可将其写在日期的前面或后面。
如：Monday，May15th，2008或May15th，2008，Monday第二，抓准日记的时态：日记记叙的时间通常是在当天的下午或晚上，因此所用的时态多为过去时态。
但应灵活掌握，如果日记叙述天气、描写景色或为了描写生动，也可用现在时。
第三，日记一般按事情发生的先后顺序记述，所以常需借助一些表示先后顺序的词语，如at first，then，later on，afterwards，finally，at last等。
一定要注意句与句、段与段之间的连接和过渡，适当使用一些过渡词语使其连接紧凑、过渡自然。
第四，确立日记的中心要点，尽量突出主题，可以通过对某个细节、某个侧面的描写来突出主题，千万不要写成一个流水帐。
