Once, the friar who is called Walunding is put in prison
because of officiate(主持) at a marriage for a pair of sweethearts（爱人） in church , the elder with the jail （监 狱）blind person daughter likes each other. Walunding has forgot that self body is in a jail （监狱） completely in being passionately（激烈的） in love with the girl. Some day , he have found the medicinal herb（药草） being able to let a girl regain sight , he all has decocted（煎、熬） medicinal herbs （药草） for the girl every day. The girl does not wait to do light but, he waits to have done the court verdict（判定） death penalty（死刑） but! Eleventh hour in his life, the girl has replied to intelligibility（可懂 的）. She finally sees sweetheart‘s appearance , Walunding still loses but life. Before long, also, the girl depressed but dies. That day passing away is a February 14 of the 3rd century B.C.Afterwards, church that this day is fixed is “Walunding festival ” , is just “Valentine’s Day” for commemorating（纪念） him.
