They are looking for treasures that went down with the Titanic way back in 1912. One of the explorers is this really old lady named Rose. When she was just a teenage girl of 17 years old, she was a passenger on the famous ship's first and only voyage across the Atlantic Ocean.Rose tells the whole incredible story about what happened to her on that ship. So the movie flashes back to 1912 and you see Rose and her stuck-up mom and rich snobby fiance get on board the ship. Rose was supposed to marry the gross fiance even though she didn't even like him at all. He was just a rich jerk that her mom wanted her to marry for their stupid money.But then Rose meets this totally cute guy named Jack Dawson. Jack is poor but really nice and fun and has a awesome spirit for adventure. He even won his ticket to get on the ship in a lucky poker game! Rose falls head over heels in love with the cool Jack right away instead of her yucky fiance. Their forbidden love on the ship is just the best romantic part.Jack shows Rose how to have fun and not care whatstuck-up snobs think. He teaches her to spit and ride funky ridesat an amusement park. They dance and party and flirt all over the ship. They even get naked together and she poses for a spicy painting that Jack draws of her wearing...nothing at all! Ooh la la, those saucy kids!Of course, Rose's evil fiance and mom are furious that she's running around with a dirty poor guy instead of being a proper little rich lady. Rose's mom is such a pain and so mean to her. But Rose doesn't care because she's having the time of her life with Jack.Then one night, the ship hits the huuuuge iceberg and starts taking on water super fast. It's so scary and intense watching the ship tilt over and sink further into the freezing cold water! Hundreds of people are running around screaming and jumping off the ship in panic. It's just total chaos and pandemonium everywhere.Jack helps Rose get on a little life boat to safety, but he doesn't make it on because there's not enough room. So Jack is stuck on the sinking ship! Rose doesn't want to leave Jack behind, but he convinces her to survive and that he'll be ok. But of course, eventually the whole ship goes completely vertical and snaps in half before sinking below the surface.So Jack ends up floating in the freezing water trying to survive while Rose is safe on a little wooden door raft thingy in the water. She keeps yelling for Jack and you see him floating motionless in the icy cold darkness. I was seriously so sad at this part! I cry like a baby every single time Jack seemingly drowns in the dark below the surface. Omg, the tears were pouring out of my eyes in buckets.But thank goodness, the old lady Rose is still alive to tell the explorers what happened after that night! I won't ruin the ending for you, but let's just say that Jack's spirit lives on forever in Rose's heart.
