一、课前热身（Warm-up）

2. 检查作业
(1) 学生拿出自制的英文课程表，同桌相互检查。
(2) 教师随机抽取几位学生的英文课程表，师生进行对话，如：

二、课前预习（Preview）
1.
教师说出一个表示星期的单词，如“Saturday”，全班学生迅速说出与其相对应的下一个单词，如“Sunday”。
2. 学生在四人小组内玩上面的游戏。

教师用多媒体课件出示“做饭”的图片，问：“Look, what’s she doing?”，学生可能用汉语回答，教师说：“She’s
cooking.”，顺势引出单词“cooking”。
然后教师用课件出示新东方厨师学校的招生广告，说：“If you want to lear n cooking, you can go to this school and have cooking classes.”。
2. 介绍对话情景
T: John and his grandfather are talking. John shows the timetab le he makes to his grandfather. Let’s listen to the tape and know something about their talking.

第一次播放教学录音，全班学生跟着录音读，提醒学生在跟读的过程中药注意模仿录音中的语音、语调。
第二次播放教学录音，全班学生分角色跟着录音读。
第三次播放教学录音，学生听完录音后回答下面问题：

② Who’s John’s music teacher?
③ What does John’s grandfather do on Thursdays?
Answer:
① He has maths, English and music.

学生拿出人物头饰，同桌合作练习表演对话，然后教师请几对学生上讲台表演，评选出“最佳表演者”，并给予小礼物作为奖励。
