本节课与五年级上册第六单元There be的一般现在形式相呼应，又更深入。
而对于本文中的重点语法项目There be的一般过去形式，在上一个课时已经初步渗透，本课时旨在继续巩固其用法。
因此，在这节课上，我通过利用思维导图启发学生的发散思维，由点及面，启发学生通过观察、对比等方式，总结归纳两种时态的用法，并尝试、在情景中灵活运用所学的语言，去描述环境的变化。
