You’ll know why somebody is pointing to a tree and saying a strange word..You may even have to relearn it many times before you finally actually learn it.There is an important idea here.In America our name for that big green leafy thing is”tree”,but in Germany the name for that thing is “Baum”.In Arab countries the name is “shajra”.And in China they say”shu”.These various words are not themse;ves’trees”.They are just some of the many hundreds of different sounds used in the world to represent that great big green leafy thing. Another sports day for the books! I can't wait to do it all over again next year. As I drift off to sleep that night, dreams of tracks, fields, and medals dance through my head. What an awesome day!篇2The Best Sports Day Ever!Hooray, it was finally sports day at our school! I had been looking forward to this day for weeks. Sports day is the best day of the whole year because we get to play all kinds of fun games and sports instead of having regular classes.The day started with the running races. I was nervous as we all lined up at the starting line for the 100-meter dash. When the whistle blew, I took off running as fast as my little legs could go. I panted hard but kept pushing myself. I ended up coming in third place, which wasn't too bad!Next up was the basketball shootout. We had to try making as many baskets as we could in one minute. I missed my first few shots, but then I started sinking them one after another. "Swish! Swish!" By the end, I had made eight baskets total. My friend Johnny made ten though, so he won that event.After a quick break for snacks and drinks, it was time for the soccer shootout. This was my favorite event! We lined up and took turns trying to score goals on the goalie. I ran as fast as I could, faked left, then blasted the ball right into the corner of thenet. "GOOAAALLL!" I screamed, throwing my arms up in celebration. I ended up scoring four goals total.The final event of the day was the relay race. I was the third runner for my team. The first two runners passed me the baton, and I grabbed it and took off sprinting. I could hear my teammates cheering me on loudly. I pushed myself harder and harder, putting every ounce of energy into my running. As I approached the final straightaway, I saw our anchor runner waiting for me up ahead. With one final burst of speed, I reached him and slapped the baton into his hand before collapsing to the ground, totally exhausted but thrilled.We didn't end up winning the relay, but that didn't matter at all to me. I had so much fun competing in all the different events and cheering on my classmates. As I walked home that afternoon, I had a big smile on my sweaty face. It really was the best sports day ever! I can't wait for next year.篇3Sports Day Fun!Wow, our school's sports day was so much fun this year! I've been looking forward to it for weeks. Sports day is the best because we get to run around, play games, and just be kidsinstead of sitting at our desks all day. This year's events were running races, basketball, and soccer. I love all three of those!The day started with the running races on the big field behind the school. We had sprint races for fastest runner, longer distance races to see who could run the farthest without getting too tired, relay races where we passed a baton between teammates, and even some silly races like the three-legged race and sack race. My favorite was probably the relay because I got to be part of a team and we won our race! My friend Marcus and I were the fastest runners so we went first and last. I sprinted as hard as I could on that first lap to give us a great lead. Then our teammates kept us ahead in the middle laps before Marcus flew across the finish line for the win!After the running, we took a quick break for a snack and drink. I guzzled down about three big cups of water because I was so thirsty from all that running. We needed to refuel for the basketball games coming up next.For basketball, they set up a bunch of small courts and we split into teams to play mini games. My team wasn't very good, but we still had a blast. Jose was our star player and he scored almost all of our baskets. The rest of us tried our best but kept missing or traveling or making other silly mistakes. We lost justabout every game, but were cheering and laughing the whole time. One of my favorite moments was when our friend Leah stole the ball and went in for a wide open layup...but she got a little too excited and dropped the ball right at the last second! We all cracked up as the ball rolled away from the basket. Stuff like that happened to us all day, but we didn't even care about the score.Finally, it was time for soccer in the afternoon. This was my favorite part because I'm easily the best soccer player in my grade. We picked teams and played a huge tournament with all the classes. My team made it all the way to the finals! In the championship game, it came down to just me and the goalie one-on-one in the last 30 seconds. I did my favorite move where I faked a shot, stopped on a dime, and turned the other way to blow past the goalie. She fell for it just like always, and I tapped it into the wide open net for the game winner! My teammates piled on me to celebrate and I've never felt so happy. Being carried off the field as champions was amazing.Sports day wrapped up with a big closing ceremony to hand out ribbons and trophies. I got ribbons for my times in all the running races, plus the big soccer championship trophy. I carried that thing around all day, posing for photos and showing it off tomy friends and family. It sits on my dresser now as a reminder of the greatest sports day ever! I can't wait to try to defend my titles next year. Overall, sports day was just the most fun from start to finish with all the running, basketball, soccer, and just being outside playing instead of doing schoolwork. Even though my team didn't win, we had a blast playing together and trying our best.Throughout the day, there were so many other events to enjoy – relay races, long jump, high jump, and even a tug-of-war contest! Everywhere I looked, there were smiles, laughter, and a sense of camaraderie. It was incredible to see everyone coming together, supporting each other, and having a great time.As the sun began to set, we gathered for the closing ceremony. The air was filled with a mixture of exhaustion and elation. We had all given our best efforts, and it showed in theresults. Medals were awarded to the top performers, and we cheered loudly for our fellow classmates as they received their well-deserved recognition.As I walked home that evening, my legs were tired, but my heart was full of joy and pride. Sports day is definitely one of the highlights of the school year for me.The day started off with the running races. I was in the 100m sprint and the 400m run. For the 100m, I got a pretty good start off the line but Ahmed is just so lightning fast! He ended upwinning that one. I came third which I was happy with. The 400m was really tough though. I was exhausted by the end, but managed to push through and finished 2nd in my race which I was chuffed about.After the running events, it was time for the basketball shootout competition. We had to take shots from different spots on the court in 60 seconds and try to score as many baskets as possible. I've been practicing my shooting a lot recently so I was feeling confident. I sank 8 shots which won me 3rd place! Shania was the winner though, draining an incredible 12 baskets. Her shooting form is gorgeous.Next up was the football dribbling contest. This involved dribbling the ball through cones as fast as you could. I was so nervous before this one as I'm not the most skilled dribbler. I made a mess of it early on, knocking over a couple of cones. But I managed to recover and power through to the finish. I didn't come last at least!The day finished with the house relays which were so much fun. We had sprints, egg and spoon, sack and skipping relays. My house (Willow) came second overall which we were buzzing about. Oak house won the overall sports day title this year though, those guys are just too good!It was such an epic day of sport. I was exhausted by the end of it but had an absolute blast. Some of the competition was really fierce with everyone going all out to win. But we all shook hands at the end and there was a great spirit. I loved being able to compete against my friends and push myself.I'm already counting down the days until next year's sports day! I've got to up my training though as I want to win more events. I'll be practising my shooting, dribbling and running all year to get prepared. A huge well done to everyone who took part and made sports day so much fun. But I'm coming for that trophy next year!篇6Sports Day at My SchoolWow, sports day was so much fun this year! It's one of my favorite days because we get to be outside instead of stuck in our classroom. Don't get me wrong, I like school and learning new things, but sometimes you just need to run around and get sweaty, you know?The first event was the running races. We had sprints for the fastest kids and longer distance runs too. I'm not the speediest, but I can run for a really long time without getting too tired. Inthe 1500 meter race, I just put my head down and kept chugging along at a steady pace. A few kids blazed past me at the start, but I passed lots of them by the end because they ran out of energy!I ended up getting 3rd place which I was really proud of.After the running events, it was time for the team sports to start. First up was basketball! The courts were all set up on the playground with shortened hoops for us little guys. We split into teams and the madness began. There were balls bouncing everywhere and kids dashing this way and that. I'm not the tallest, but I can dribble circles around most of my classmates. A few times I drove to the hoop and went up for a lay-up, but these huge 5th grade giants swatted my shot away! No fair, we need a kid's league and an adult league or something.Despite their monster size, we still managed to squeak out a couple of wins. Jason is like a pint-sized Michael Jordan and was burying threes from all over the court. Stephanie was a beast on the boards too, boxing out and grabbing tons of rebounds. After a few games, I was drenched in sweat but it felt great to run around.Unfortunately, the basketball fun had to end because it was time for soccer. I'm not as good at soccer but I still love playing. We set up small fields and had mini games going. The action wasnon-stop with the ball zipping back and forth between the two teams. A couple times it turned into a big kick-ball scrum with everybody bunching up and booting the ball back and forth. I couldn't get many shots on goal, but I was a defensive stopper, sticking to the other team's best players like glue.Towards the end, I was dragging a bit. Running for that 1500 meters took its toll! My team managed to scrape out a 2-1 win though which felt great. There's nothing better than scoring a goal or hitting a game-winning shot, even if it's just during recess.After soccer, we had to start cleaning up and heading back to class. I absolutely dreaded going back inside after having so much fun outdoors. I was sweaty, grass-stained, and had jelly legs, but it was worth every second. A few kids cramped up from dehydration and one boy may have broken his thumb after a nasty fall, but those are the risks you take when battling it out in sports!As we walked back across the playground dragging our feet, I thought about how awesome the day was. The races got my heart pumping, basketball allowed me to show off my slick dribbling skills, and soccer let me be a defensive wall against the other team's attackers. We may have just been kids engrossed inour own little world, but it felt like we were Olympians going for gold out there.I really hope they have sports day again next year so I can experience that thrill once more. I'll be sure to bring extra water though after nearly passing out today! School teaches me all the important stuff like math, science, and reading. But sports day lets me put all of that on hold for a little while and just be a kid having the time of my life. I can't wait until next year!。

I see in my future you and only you. You’re my sunrise and sunset - my whole being of myself, living only for you. You make my rainy day’s seem happy and my sunny day’s something to look forward to as I wake each day. I know I have yet to be perfect and maybe a little rough around the edges but I know that I can be all you want, desire, and need in a lady.
We created a lovely baby made completely out of love, for that is why every day I look at her, she reminds me of the love we once held so dear. The day you packed your things and left, a part of my heart broke a little more through the endless tears and the unknowing of what is to become of us. It really had me afraid that this time, the end may truly be the end. But still we stay together, maybe not in sharing a home but still together, just to hold dear that true love can happen even to those whom have fallen a little out of love.
I am thankful we keep trying, for you are the most important person in my life and nothing will ever change that, my soul mate. I love you so deeply that even words tonight cannot express them enough.
