1. 热身
简单的口语交际:做一个What did you do yesterday?的接龙活动。把学生回答的动词过去式写在黑板上，规则与不规则动词分开，让学生去感受规则动词加ed不规则动词变化成另一个单词。
2. 课文导入
事先安排一名同学戴上有绷带的大明头饰。并扮作痛苦状，老师问：What happened to Daming？让学生猜大明怎么了？
3. 课文教学
a. 带着一系列的问题与好奇，听录音，看书，猜故事情节，回答老师问题，用英语试说Daming和Sam昨天做了什么，尽可能用书中句子回答。
b. 再放录音圈出生词并猜词义。
