表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态,通常与
过去的时间状语连用:

（1）系动词be的过去时: am(is) →was, are →were

疑问句：Was he at home yesterday?

（2）行为动词的一般过去时:
陈述句：主语+动词过去式+其它

1. potato
