一、教学目标：
1、能在自主阅读的基础上，理解文本内容，自然流畅地朗读课文。
2、能听懂、会说、会读词汇find out, magazine, kangaroo, koala, sport-lover,
Australian football, exciting, Sydney。
3、能运用一般将来时的肯定句“…will…”进行将来计划的问答。
4、在听、说、读、写活动中，进一步丰富语言积累，提高独立搜索信息的
能力和口头表达能力。
5、拓展英语文化视野，激发英语学习兴趣。
二、教学重点：
1、能在自主阅读的基础上，理解文本内容，自然流畅地朗读课文。
2、能运用一般将来时的肯定句“…will…”进行将来计划的问答。
三、教学难点：
1、自主阅读过程中能根据上下文猜测词义，提高阅读能力。
2、能运用适当的语气、表情、动作等，准确、自然、流畅地朗读课文，并
进行复述或表演。
四、教学用具：多媒体课件。
五、教学过程：
Step 1. Greeting and warming up
1. Greetings between T and Ss.
2. Look at the words and try to make your sentences.
Step 2. Pre-reading
1. Say something about the countries.
T: There are many countries in the world. Look here, this is China. China is a
country.
(Learn to say the word of “country”.)
2. Look at the pictures and guess, what country is it?
3.T: We can see kangaroos in Australia.
T: What do you know about Australia? How to know more about Australia?
4. Go to the text.
Step 3. While-reading
1. Read Part One and talk about the sentences of the text.
(1) Ss read the sentences of Part One. Try to match and say.

反思本节课，笔者有如下方面的遗憾：
一、课堂上对于学生“放手”不够。例如课文第二部分关于澳大利亚的教学，
教师虽让学生自主阅读、小组交流讨论，但对于如何引导学生在自主阅读过程中
更有效地进行知识的理解与归纳，是笔者在设计教案及执教过程中的一处疑难。
在课堂教学中，想将学生“放”得更开，又怕到时“收不回来”，所以导致课堂
无法真正成为“学生的课堂”。
二、对于文本中所呈现的澳大利亚，学生读来趣味盎然。课堂结束之后反思，
觉得学生可以“讲”的点有很多。但是由于时间关系，无法一一展开。可能对于
课堂中某些环节，应该再精简些，某些地方可以有更多的拓展延伸。对于教学活
动各环节的“度”的把握，笔者应加强学习与实践。
