教师背起旅行包，介绍单词travel。
板书、领读单词travel，并要求学生拼读。
2、教授词组the West Lake
教师出示西湖的PPT图片，师生会话学习词组。教师可以告诉学生：the West Lake是中国的西湖，它坐落于杭州，是个非常美丽的景点。因为是专有名词，所以前面要用定冠词the，而且表示名胜古迹的名词都是专有名词，其表达中每个实词的首字母都需大写。
2、学生齐读对话，教师注意纠正错误的语音语调。
3、将学生分成两大组，分角色齐读对话。

（二）巩固活动
1、教师播放录音，学生模仿其语音语调跟读Let’s Learn部分的词汇。
2、教师展示词汇图片，学生看图拼读词汇。
3、教师采用闪卡的形式，让学生抢说卡片上的词汇，看谁的反应快。
（3）May Day is coming.这是一个用现在进行时表示一般将来时的句子，其意义在于表达五一节就要来临，又兴奋、开心之意，含一定的感情色彩。

3、能运用Whatis the...like? It is ...There are many...in it.谈论名胜的特点。

创设真实情景，让学生操练句型和使用句型。

（2）借助Part A Warming-up: Think and answer部分的四个问题来复习以前学过的表示一般将来时态的be going to结构。学生结合上面的词汇复习应该能很快回答出这些问题，从而充分调动其课堂积极性。
（3）同桌之间互相问答，进行练习。

教师继续借助Part A Warming-up: Think and answer的话题导入新课。

Unit6 My Holiday【单元总目标】本单元的话题围绕假期旅行展开。
学生通过对本单元的学习，能灵活运用现在进行时态和一般将来时态谈论日常生活中的假期活动安排。
教师在处理本单元内容时，可结合三年级下册Unit 3 How Do You Come to School?中有关交通方式和基本日常活动表达及四年级下册Unit 5 Where Are You Going?中表述将来活动计划的be going to结构引入对假期活动的计划安排，并学习由will引导的一般将来时态。
本单元的教学分为4个课时。
第一课时以Part A中Let’s learn部分的词汇教学为主，学习有关假期旅游以及名胜古迹的词汇；第二课时以Part A中Lets talk的部分对话为主，在复习词汇的基础上重点学习如何谈论假期的活动安排，其难点是对助动词will引导的一般将来时句子结构的理解和运用；第三课时以Part B中Let’s learn more部分为主，拓展学习一般将来时态的一般疑问句及其否定回答：Will your parents go with you? No, they won’t.第四课时通过完成Part C的其他活动来复习巩固本单元的学习内容，检测学生的学习效果，并培养其阅读理解的内容。
