2. 教材的地位本课时教材是对前一节所学有关家庭成员词汇的一个扩充和拓展。
使学生的词汇量在原来的基础上有一个提高，同时使他们掌握了多种物体的英语表达方法。
【说教学目标】根据教材的内容和<<英语课程标准>>要求,我确定了以下教学目标以及教学重难点：知识目标：能听懂会询问 Who is he / she ?He/she is…能力目标：能在生活实践中灵活运用所学句型进行交际。
情感目标：培养学生用英语表达的兴趣，勇气和自信，并渗透热爱家庭，关爱家人的意识。
教学重难点：Who is he / she ?He/she is…Is this/that your …?Yes, he/she is.【说学情、说学生】根据小学三年级阶段学生的特点：好奇、好动、善模仿、好表演，对英语的学习兴趣浓，但不能持久，因此，需要具体、形象的教学材料及灵活多样的教学方法来引导学习。
