It's also called the Duanwu Festival in Chinese. Every year, I look
forward to celebrating this special day with my family and
friends.
One of the reasons I love the Dragon Boat Festival is because
of the delicious food we eat. We always have zongzi, which are
sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves. My favorite
zongzi is the one filled with pork and mushrooms. They are so
yummy!
Another reason I enjoy the Dragon Boat Festival is because
of the exciting dragon boat races. The boats are so colorful and
the paddlers row so fast! It's fun to cheer for our favorite team
and see who will win the race. The drums beating and the cheers

The Dragon Boat Festival is my absolute favorite holiday! It's
a super fun and exciting day filled with all sorts of amazing
activities and yummy foods. I always look forward to it every
year.
One of the best parts is getting to eat zongzi! Zongzi are
these delicious sticky rice dumplings wrapped up in bamboo
leaves. They can have different fillings inside like red bean paste,
meat, egg yolk, or just plain salted rice. My mom makes the most
