Nothing Succeeds Without a Strong Will
No great work can be performed without will. We envy famous men and imagine that fame was due to some trick of luck. But when we know their histories, we find that it is long years of will and constant effort that have brought about their success. Just as we can’t reach the top of a mountain without climbing, we can’t achieve success without will.
The modern society provides people with more opportunities than before, and there are stories which tell us the possibility of becoming successful overnight. Actually that is not the case. Before these people become successful, a lot of hard work has been done, unnoticed mostly. What we usually see is the result, but what we ignore is a long process of struggling forward and wrestling with internal or external obstacles. T ake “quitting smoking” for example, which is , to most people , a difficult task, so people always give up the idea for they don’t have the strong will.
In a nutshell, strong will is an important condition or role of the success the individual should desire to maintain forever. There is no instant success in this world. Strong will is the best policy to make your life distinct and your dreams come true.。

11年12月英语四级作文December 2011 CET-4 Writing Test。

The December 2011 CET-4 Writing Test was a significant milestone for many students who were on the cusp of graduating from college or university. It was a test that would determine whether they had the necessary language skills to communicate effectively in English, and whether they were ready to take on the challenges of the globalized world. The test consisted of two parts: a short essay and a long essay. The short essay required students to write about a given topic in 30 minutes, while the long essay required them to write about a topic of their choice in 60 minutes. Both essays were graded on a scale of 0 to 30, with 30 being the highest score. The short essay topic was "The Importance of Time Management". Students were asked to write about thebenefits of managing their time effectively, and to provide examples of how they could use their time more efficiently. Many students wrote about the importance of setting goals, prioritizing tasks, and avoiding procrastination. They also suggested using tools such as calendars, to-do lists, and reminders to help them stay on track. The long essay topic was "The Impact of Social Media on Society". Students were given the freedom to choose their own topic within this broad theme. Many students wroteabout the positive and negative effects of social media on communication, relationships, and privacy. They also discussed the role of social media in politics, business, and entertainment. Some students argued that social media had brought people closer together, while others claimedthat it had created more divisions and conflicts.Overall, the December 2011 CET-4 Writing Test was a challenging but rewarding experience for many students. It tested their ability to think critically, organize their thoughts, and express themselves clearly in written English. It also gave them a glimpse into the types of communication skills they would need to succeed in the 21st century.。

2011年12月英语四级作文英文回答:In December 2011, I took the English CET-4 exam. The exam was quite challenging, but I managed to pass it. During the exam, I encountered a question about the importance of learning a second language. I believe that learning a second language is extremely important for several reasons.Firstly, learning a second language can open up a world of opportunities. For example, I have a friend who speaks fluent Spanish, and because of this, she was able to land a job in a multinational company that required employees to be bilingual. Without her knowledge of Spanish, she would have missed out on this great opportunity.Secondly, learning a second language can help us to better understand and appreciate different cultures. For instance, I have been learning French for a few years now,and it has allowed me to connect with French-speakingpeople and understand their way of life. It has also given me a deeper appreciation for French literature and art.Lastly, learning a second language can improve our cognitive abilities. Studies have shown that bilingual individuals have better problem-solving skills and are more adept at multitasking. Personally, I have found thatlearning a second language has improved my memory and concentration.中文回答:2011年12月,我参加了英语四级考试。

2011年12月英语四级作文题目及范文Nothing succeeds without a strong willNothing Scucceeds Without a Strong Will by commenting on the humorous saying, "Quitting smoking is the easiest thing in the world. I'va done it hundreds of times." You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words.英语四级作文范文1Nothing succeeds without a strong willThere is a prevalent joke around young people saying that ‘quitting smoking is the easiest thing in the world, and I’ve done it for hundreds of times.’ This seemingly funny statement ironically reflects the fact that the determination of most youngsters is oftentimes started with enthusiasm, but the passion becomes increasingly weaker each day, and then diminishes as if there has been no such thing at all.It is obvious that t heir failure in ‘quitting smoking’ and decline of determination are all ascribed to their lack of will. Initially, every success involves several stages of setbacks and risks, and we need to summon up our will to conquer them. Moreover, there are enormous temptation in our path of pursuit of success. For instance, when we plan to quit smoking, our roommates may smoke freely in front of us; when we are eager to keep fit, our close friends may invite us to have late night snacks. Under these occasions, only strong will can assist us to resist the temptation, and persist in chasing our goals until we triumphantly realize them.In short, no dream will successfully come true if we do not have strong will. An old famous proverb says that ‘ where there is a will, there is a way’. Let us bear this motton in mind no matter how many thunders and thorns are on our roads ahead, then we will be successful with such precious and powerful spirit.英语四级作文范文2Nothing Succeeds Without a Strong WillNo great work can be performed without will. 2011年12月英语四级作文英文回答:In December 2011, I took the English CET-4 exam. The exam was quite challenging, but I managed to pass it. The CET-4 exam is a test of English proficiency for college students in China. It consists of listening, reading, and writing sections. In the listening section, I had to listen to a recording and answer questions about it. It was quite difficult because the speakers spoke very fast and used a lot of slang and idioms. However, I was able to answer most of the questions correctly. In the reading section, I had to read several passages and answer questions about them. Some of the passages were quite long and contained a lot of unfamiliar vocabulary. I had to use my knowledge of English grammar and context clues to understand the meaning of the passages. In the writing section, I had to write an essay on a given topic. I chose to write about the importance of learning a second language. I included examples from my own life to support my argument. Overall, I found the exam tobe a good test of my English skills. It challenged me to think critically and use my language abilities to communicate effectively.中文回答:2011年12月,我参加了英语四级考试。

2011年12月英语四级作文英文回答:It is an understatement to say that the internet has become an indispensable part of our lives. Nowadays, it seems almost impossible to imagine life without the wealth of information and seamless connectivity that the internet provides. From mundane tasks like checking the weather forecast to profound experiences like connecting with loved ones across the globe, the internet has revolutionized the way we live, learn, and communicate. However, despite the undeniable benefits it offers, it is crucial to acknowledge and mitigate the potential risks associated with excessive internet use.The internet can be a vast, uncharted territory, and just like exploring any new frontier, it is essential to proceed with caution. One of the most pressing concerns is the potential for internet addiction, characterized by an uncontrolled and compulsive use of the internet. Thisaddiction can lead to a range of negative consequences, including social isolation, academic underachievement, and mental health issues. Alarmingly, internet addiction is becoming increasingly prevalent, especially among younger generations, and it is essential to address this problem before it spirals out of control. Moreover, the internet is a double-edged sword when it comes to privacy and security. While it empowers us with access to a vast array of information and services, it also raises concerns about the protection of our personal data. Unscrupulous actors can exploit our online presence to gather sensitive information, which can be used for identity theft, financial fraud, or even blackmail. It is therefore imperative that we take steps to safeguard our privacy and security online by using strong passwords, being mindful of the information we share, and being cautious of suspicious websites and emails.中文回答:互联网已经成为我们生活中不可或缺的一部分,这并非夸张之词。
