Unit 6 Work quietly B Read and write教学设计课型：阅读教学年级：五年级一、教学设计整体思路本节课是根据慕课的翻转课堂教学理念进行设计的。
采用了情景教学法，为学生创设了Sarah 和Robin 一起去科学博物馆参观机器人展览，看到了来自不同国家的机器人，了解了它们的功能与特性的情境展开教学，有效激发学生英语阅读的兴趣和运用语言进行交流的积极性。
由于“Pre-reading，First reading，Second reading”这三个环节学生能通过扫读、跳读和细读文本来完成相应练习，难度系数不算太大。
因此，教师把这三个环节做成短视频，让学生根据各自水平在家反复观看视频进行自学，并完成相应的练习：1、找出展览的主题；2、根据上下文内容完成文本挖空句子；3、根据文本内容完成表格。
在课堂开始的时候让学生提出家里自学遇到的难点，通过小组讨论、交流汇报，解决问题。
“Third reading”和“Post reading”环节在检查课前任务单后，以再次以观看视频的形式进行教学，并完成课中任务：1、小组讨论回答隐性问题；2、选择一份关于机器人的报告并完成；3、用一段话描述自己最喜欢的机器人，从而达到难点突破和拓展的目的。
由于是通过视频形式进行教学，老师在旁起点拨作用，因此这节课是可以让其他老师直接在自己的课堂上使用或让学生回家再次观看巩固知识点。
课后，布置学生在家观看课后微课，根据自己意愿设计一个属于自己的机器人，完成思维导图。
课后作业也体现了自学原则，做到让学生自主规划学习内容、学习节奏，让学生通过实践获得更真实的学习。
二、教学目标1、语言知识和语言技能目标：能说出相关动词短语的 ing形式，理解文本内容，完成相应练习，能够运用核心句型What is … doing? He/She is …进行问答，最后能用一段话描写自己最喜欢的机器人。
