It is widely known that Ningbo is famous for its seafood, such as Samoan [səˈməuən] crab(膏蟹)、Mud snail (泥螺）and so on.Samoan crab(or green crab（青蟹）) is the famous seafood of Ningbo. It’s big in size and quite tasty, which is usually seen on the dining table, especially when it is in Spring Festival.Mud snail, is a local specialty of Ningbo, which looks very especial in its shape. Mud snails can be seen in the coastal areas of Ningbo.Besides, Ningbo snacks are also very famous and popular in China. Such as sweet dumpling （Ningbo dumpling with refined white flour as skin Glutinous Rice with lard,sugar,black sesame powder filling,dumpling skin is thin and slippery,white as suet,shiny shiny,smooth and delicious.）、rice cake（Rice cakes are usually made of glutinous rice flour）、Xi kou Qian ceng Cookie （Xikou Qianceng Cookie is a traditional snack of Xikou, Fenghua, the hometown of Chiang Kaishek. It is square, with 27 layers, of golden color tinted with green. It is crisp, sweet and a bit salty and delicious）and so on.Where you can eat authentic food in Ningbo, you can visit Nantang street,which is located just near the train station,Nantang Street will uphold the Ningbo cultural, "window of the traditional culture of Ningbo, characteristics of Nantang River Jiangnan region of rivers and lakes, original culture area as the theme, through about 500 meters of Jiangnan traditional streets and lanes, reproduce hundred years Ningbo business transactions, daily life of good atmosphere. Nantang Street follow the "yesterday", "today", "tomorrow" context definition.In Sept,25,Nantang street is opened to us after three years design and construct, this Nation day ,I visit Nantang street ,It is really crowed ,I can’t even look the ground but with the crowed moving.Secondly, let me introduce some famous places of interest in Ningbo.Hemudu Relics, which is located in Hemudu village in Yuyao city, has been verified to have a history of 7000 years. From the site, large amount of rice, animals’remains, fruits, wooden buildings, thousands of ceramic [siˈræmik] vessels and handicraft have been dug. This proves that Ningbo is the first place to grow rice. Like the Yellow Valley, Yangtze Valley is also the origin of Chinese brilliant culture.All of these events, the great contribution, the deep cultural collections, are now in the collection of floor---Tianyi Pavilion. It is the oldest collection of buildings which is also Ningbo's best tourist attraction. Built in 1516, the library, which has survived 430 years, is the oldest existing private library of China and Asia, It is also one of the earliest three family libraries in the world. Tianyige museum is a comprehensive library collecting books with culture of social history, art and so on. You can do all that you want here: shopping, eating, appreciating the night view, drinking in pub, watching films on the water screen made by the central fountain, or visiting the museums.The transport in Ningbo is really convenient ,Metro line2 has just opened for us in Sept，maybe you can take the 3D underground if you are lucky enough ,and if you have a school ID card ,you can enjoy the half price of underground and Seventy percent off of the every bus in the city.There are a lot of famous people in Ningbo，such as Tuyouyou ,Tongdizhou,hunagzongxi,jiangjieshi,shaoyifu and Shamenghai.This is the house that shamenghai and his brothers lived ,which is near my grandmother’s house.Finally ,I think dialect in Ningbo is one of the most funny things,which gives others a hard feeling,now , let me teach you how to say these in ningbo dialect.All in all, I think Ningbo is a place that worthy you to visit, so if you have time, welcome to Ningbo.
