摘要：新时期大学英语的教学目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力。加强课程设置以及教学模式的改革，并根据学
校的实际情况开展多元化教学，是培养大学生英语综合应用能力的有效途径。
关键词：英语综合应用能力；课程设置；教学模式；多元化教学
为全面实施大学英语教学改革，结合大学英语教学改
革实践，教育部2007年9月发布了《大学英语课程教学要
求》(以下简称《课程要求》)。《课程要求》明确规定：“大学英
语的教学目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力．特别是听
说能力．使他们在今后学习、工作和社会交往中能用英语有
效地进行交际，同时增强其自主学习能力．提高综合文化素
养，以适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要。”
培养大学生的英语综合运用能力是大学英语教学的
目标之一。目前。我国的大学英语教学整体上还未能令各方
满意．大学毕业生的英语实际应用能力还很难满足工作和
生活需要。一方面．我们一直在为我国学生的托福考试通过
率排名亚洲第四而感到自豪；另一方面．大学英语教学改革
已经实施了几年。但我国学生的英语实际能力不容乐观，中
国考生在雅思考试中．121语和写作成绩几乎是名列全球倒
数第一。如何学和教语言．尤其是如何提高学生的隐性语言
能力是大学英语教学所面临的最紧要的研究课题。为了切
实提高大学生的英语综合应用能力，大学英语教学需要做
好以下三个方面的丁作。
一、完善课程设置，构建完整的课程体系
大学英语教学首先要为培养学生的英语综合应用能
力构建完榷的课程体系。张文霞、罗立胜(2004)指出，英语综合实用能力应该包括以下四个方面：一是比较好的英语
语言知识，包括语音知识、构词知识和语法知识；二是比较
全面的语言使用技能．如听、说、读、写、译：三是相关的文化
知识．包括本族语以及目的语的文化、历史和社会背景；四
是相关策略．包括学习策略、交际策略等。因此，《课程要求》
提出“大学英语是以英语语言知识与应用技能、跨文化交际

摘要：本文对大学英语教学的现状进行了剖析，对在大学英语教
学中存在的问题进行了再思考，并提出相应的解决方法和改革措施。

一、引言 大学英语教学是我国英语教学的很重要的一部分。大学英
语教学的发展和改革动态也一直备受瞩目。２００４年初，国家教育
部颁布了《大学英语课程教学要求（试行）》（以下简称《要
求》），取代了已经沿用二十年的《大学英语教学大纲》，以求
适应新的国际国内社会形势下对大学生英语水平的要求。随之，
一直以来都是大学英语教学的隐形指挥棒的全国大学英语四、六
级考试也做了相应的改革。要求教师把教学的重点放在提高学生
的英语综合应用能力上。可是要改变旧的传统的教学模式是何等
困难的一件事情。时隔三年，以修改现有的教学大纲，改革现行
的教学模式为核心的大学英语教学改革收效甚微，过去大学英语
教学的一些弊端依然存在。笔者对大学英语教学的现状进行剖
析，对存在的问题进行思考，并提出了相应的解决方法。
二、大学英语教学现状 国内同行对大学英语教学的现状已经做了大量的教研。把
他们的教研和我的教学实际相结合，发现大学英语教学中存在以
下问题。１．教学班级人数多；每个班少Ｎ４Ｏ一６０人，多则可达到
８０—１００人。而且学生来自不同的地区，英语水平参差不齐。这些
都给教师的课堂教学带来了不同程度的障碍，影响教学效果。
２．学生习惯于“灌输式”的教学方法。根据罗立胜，何福胜和杨
芳三位老师对清华大学二年级理科专业学生的调查， “７５％的学
生课堂上记笔记，听老师讲授，做与课文内容有关的练习为他们
的主要学习行为，而不愿主动提问和发言。”虽然这只是在清华
大学做的一项调查，但是却具有普遍性。在中国的很多大学情况
现在还是如此的。３．大多数学生拥有教学参考资料。这些资料较
为详尽地解释了课文内容，对课后练习题进行了分析和解答，有
