Biologists estimate that as many as 2 million lesser prairie chickens — a kind of bird

living on stretching grasslands — once lent red to the often gray landscape of the

midwestern and .

But just some 22,000 birds remain today, occupying about 16% of the species' historic

range.

The crash was a major reason the U. S (USFWS) decided to

formally list the bird as threatened.

"The lesser is in a desperate situation," said USFWS Director Daniel

Ashe.

Some environmentalists, however, were disappointed.

They had pushed the agency to designate the bird as "endangered," a status that

gives federal officials greater regulatory power to crack down on threats.

But Ashe and others argued that the "threatened" tag gave the federal government

flexibility to try out new, potentially less confrontational conservations approaches.

Would a Work-Free World Be So Bad?

Fears of civilization-wide idleness are based too much on

the downsides of being unemployed in a society premised on

the concept of employment.

A 1567 painting by Pieter Bruegel the Elder depicts a

mythical land of plenty, where people grow idle in the absence

of work. Wikimedia * Ilana E. Strauss* Jun 28, 2016 People have

speculated for centuries about a future without work, and today

is no different, with academics, writers, and activists once again

warning that technology is replacing human workers. Some

imagine that the coming work-free world will be defined by

inequality: A few wealthy people will own all the capital, and the

masses will struggle in an impoverished wasteland.

should

1) interpret the chart, and

2) give your comments.

You should write about 150 words.

The round chart represents the results of a survey conducted on

students in a university regarding their tourist purposes. According to the data, the majority of students, accounting for 37%, embark on trips with the intention to enjoy the scenery. This indicates that natural beauty and

landscapes hold significant appeal for student travelers.

Another notable finding is that 33% of students surveyed stated

that they go on trips to relieve pressure. This suggests that travel serves

as a means of escape and relaxation for students, providing them with a

Born To Win

Be silly. Born To Win
