人工智能技术在大学英语教学中的应用研究摘要本文主要分为三个部分，第一个部分主要对人工智能技术的历史发展及大致组成进行了介绍，第二个部分主要是结合大学英语教学的模式就人工智能技术在其中的运用进行说明，包括大学英语教育传统模式存在的问题，人工智能技术在听力、发音、翻译、口语教学四个方面的应用。
最后一个部分是关于人工智能技术应用于大学英语教学的建议。

传统的以规模扩张为特征的数量型增长动力难以支撑新阶段高质量发展的要求，亟需培育经济增长新动能，实现效率提升型的质量型增长。
人工智能是引领这一轮科技革命和产业变革的战略性技术，正在对经济发展、社会进步、国际竞争格局等方面产生重大而深远的影响，加快发展人工智能是赢得全球科技竞争主动权的重要战略抓手，是推动科技跨越发展、产业优化升级、生产力整体跃升的重要战略资源。
随着人工智能在整个社会的全面推进，其在高校教学中得到全方位应用也必将成为大势所趋。
一、人工智能技术概述人工智能（Artificial Intelligence），英文缩写为AI。
它是研究、开发用于模拟、延伸和扩展人的智能的理论、方法、技术及应用系统的一门新的技术科学。
（一）发展历史人工智能的核心是算法，算法是产生人工智能的直接工具。
从历史的进程来看，人工智能自1956年提出以来，经历了三个阶段，这三个阶段同时也是算法和研究方法更迭的过程。
第一个阶段是20世纪60-70年代，人工智能迎来了黄金时期，以逻辑学为主导的研究方发成为主流。
人工智能通过计算机来实现机器化的逻辑推理证明，但最终难以实现。
第二个阶段是20世纪70-90年代，其中，1974到1980年间，人工智能技术的不成熟和过誉的声望使其进入人工智能寒冬，人工智能研究和投资大量减少。
1980年到1987年，专家系统研究方法成为人工智能研究热门，资本和研究热情再次燃起。
1987年到1993年，计算机能力比之前几十年已有了长足的进步，这时试图通过建立基于计算机专家系统来解决问题，但是由于数据较少并且太局限于经验知识和规则，难以构筑有效的系统，资本和政府支持再次撤出，人工智能迎来第二次“寒冬”。
第三个阶段是20世纪90年代以后，1993年到2011年，随着计算力和数据量的大幅度提升，人工智能技术获得进一步优化。
至今，数据量、计算力的大幅度提升，帮助人工智能在机器学习，特别是神经网络主导的深度学习领域得到了极大的突破。
基于深度神经网络技术的发展，才逐步入快速发展期。
此外，数据是人工智能底层逻辑中不可或缺的支撑要素，没有数据针对人工智能的数据处理将无法进行。
有了数据挖掘对数据的清晰、集成、归约等预处理手段，人工智能才能拥有足够的数据进行学习。
随着人工智能技术的迭代更新，从数据生产、采集、储存、计算、传播到应用都将被机器所替代。
（二）技术组成人工智能技术大致可包括大数据、计算机视觉、语音识别、自然语言处理、机器学习等方面，具体简述如下：1、大数据大数据或称之为巨量资料，是指需要全新的处理模式才能具有更强的决策力、洞察力和流程优化能力的海量、高增长率和多样化的信息资产。
2、计算机视觉计算机视觉是指用摄像机和电脑代替人眼对目标进行识别、跟踪和测量，并进一步做图形处理，使电脑处理成为更适合人眼观察或传送给仪器检测的图像。
3、语音识别语音识别技术就是让机器通过识别和理解过程将语音信号转变为相应的文本或命令的高新技术。
语音识别技术主要包括特征提取技术、模式匹配准则及模型训练技术三个方面。
语音识别是人机交互的基础，主要解决让机器听清楚人说什么的难题。
人工智能目前落地最成功的就是语音识别技术。
4、自然语言处理自然语言处理大体包括了自然语言理解和自然语言生成两个部分，实现人机间自然语言通信意味着要使计算机既能理解自然语言文本的意义，也能以自然语言文本来表达给定的意图、思想等，前者称为自然语言理解，后者称为自然语言生成。
自然语言处理是计算机科学领域与人工智能领域中的一个重要方向。
5、机器学习机器学习就是让机器具备人一样学习的能力，专门研究计算机怎么模拟或实现人类的学习行为，以获取新的知识或技能，重新组织已有的知识结构使之不断改善自身的性能，它是人工智能的核心。
二、人工智能技术在大学英语教学中的应用在人工智能技术逐步渗透到社会方方面面的大背景发展趋势下，传统语言教育行业也深受影响。
其中最为典型的便是英语教育。
现在不少高校都在逐步将人工智能技术引入英语教学，以弥补传统教学模式的不足，提升教学质量。
（一）传统大学英语教学中存在的问题1、听力训练提升效果差在听力训练上，老师多是通过使用录音设备重复就既定学习交材进行播放来提升学生的听力水平。

2、缺少发音训练传统英语教学中有个显而易见的问题就是英语发音训练的缺失，而标准化的英语发音其实正是英语学习的关键，只会听、读、写而不会说，无异于学习哑巴英语，是极其不利于学生英语综合能力提升的。
传统教学中发音训练的缺少，第一，是由于无法营造英语本土发音的面对面交流语境。
大学英语老师的发音其实参差不齐，不同老师能营造出的发音训练语境也极为不同，学生缺乏高质量的训练。
2第二，是英语发音的训练相较于听、读、写会占用更多的时间，因为需要制造情境、模拟语境，但大学英语教学的课时往往有限制，为在有限的课时时间内完成教学并保证听、读、写的教学质量，发音训练的时间进而就被压缩。
第三，发音训练教材设计的话题很可能与学生的实际口语水平不相适应，难以提起学生的兴趣，引发他们积极参与讨论交流。
3、写作水平提升难英语教学中学生写作水平提升难的根本原因在于英语写作训练内容的统一无法个性化适应不同学生的写作水平。
一般来说学生的写作水平大致可以分为三个层次。
第一个层次学生的写作水平词汇量储备较少，在面对写作时只能依靠现有的词汇量进行套用、堆砌形成句子，毫无语法和章法可言。
第二个层次学生的写作有一定的词汇量，能够根据基本语法进行模板的拆分、组合、套用，从中抓取需要的部分来完成写作。
但是一旦碰到那种较为复杂的句型结构，就很难通过模板的拆分、组合、套用来表达愿意，整体的写作此时会显得极为僵硬。
第三个层次学生的写作能灵活地根据已掌握的词汇量自由生动的进行表达，而不受限于固定句式的套用、组合，很少有学生能达到这个层次。
正是因为学生水平的层次不同，不加区分的进行写作训练，很难使得低层次写作水平的学生抓到写作的精髓，基础根基本身就不牢固，后期提升当然难以提高。
而对于高层次写作水平的学生，现有的写作训练可能是无法达到对他们训练提升目的的，长久以往的重复训练，让他们的写作水平难以得到更进一步的提升。

对于需要进行综合写作学习提升的学生，自动批改写作系统起到重要作用。
对于需要撰写的写作话题，自动批改写作系统会提供写作思路、跨架、有关词汇的参考，辅助学生根据已掌握的语法规则进行写作。
完成后系统将进行自动批改，对内容进行逐句点评，分析其中的错误并打下评语，给出修改意见。

3、翻译很多学生在翻译中常常是处于一种无从下手的状态。

三、关于人工智能应用于大学英语教学的建议1、教师应增强对人工智能的认知水平全民互联网时代，英语教师如果要最大限度的利用好人工智能技术建立与学生的友好互动关系、提升教学质量，首先自身需要提升对人工智能技术的认知水平，以将人工智能切实的融入到日常的英语教学中，让人工智能技术真正在教学实践中落地。
2、注重融入感情，强化情感交流传统教学很显而易见的一个缺点是，学生在整个课堂是处于一种被动被灌输知识的学习状态，老师可由于精力问题，无法关注到每一个学生。

一、研究背景人工智能AI(Artificial Intelligence)是研究、开发用于模拟、延伸和扩展人的智能的理论、方法、技术及应用系统的一门新的技术科学。
自1956年DARTMOUTH学会上被提出后，至今日AI 技术的发展已日渐蓬勃。
国务院于2017年7月8日印发并实施的《新一代人工智能发展规划》更是将AI技术的发展推上了更高的平台。
目前，AI技术的发展已和各行各业各领域相交汇，渗透到人们日常的每一个细节中。
作为国之大计的教育领域中，AI技术的应用也随处可见。
而自然语言处理等理论的发展，也使英语教育备受人工智能技术裨益。
教育部于19年印发了《高等学校人工智能创新行动计划》，提出了加快人工智能在教育领域的创新应用，利用智能技术支撑人才培养模式的创新、教学方法的改革、教育治理能力的提升的要求。
近些年来，也有研究指出，在教育中使用人工智可使学习更加个性化，为学生提供有效的学习体验，有助于发展他们的创造力并减少教师的工作量。
因此，在AI 技术背景下，大学英语教育模式亟需改良和推广。
本文笔者从我国目前英语教学所面临的问题入手，对 AI 背景下的大学英语教学新模式进行探索。
二、传统大学英语教学存在的问题1. 教学时长不足，学生缺乏兴趣。
目前，大学英语课程平均学时在200左右 ，在 3至４个学期内要完成四册大学英语听说、读写和综合技能训练的教学的任务。
任务的繁重导致了其质量的不稳定性。
教师需要在完成课时的前提下保证学生对所授内容的掌握度，但由于目前中国大学英语课堂人数普遍达到30~50人之多，教师无法洞悉每个学生的学习情况以及上课质量，做不到面面俱到。
