一、教学内容分析
本课是初二年级八单元第六课，本单元涵盖与环境相关的词汇、短语及内容，学生们会了解我们的生活方式如何影响环境，以及理解回收利用的重要性，减少浪费。学生们会简单了解到生物之间的联系，探索可以采取的环保的行为。
从课文内容及语法知识来看，本课是这一单元综合的一课，所以我把本课设为英语阅读课，让学生通过自己阅读获取重点信息，并仿照文中的表达，联系之前所学，完成任务。
二、教学目标分析
根据英语课程标准的要求及本话题的任务，结合学生的实际情况，我确定了本课的教学目标。
（1）知识目标：语法方面有more often的用法，a lot 、much修饰比较级，关于新能源的词的了解，
（2）能力目标：能读懂课文，能简单复述文章，能简单表达自己喜好的出行方式，能用动词不定式
（3）德育目标：通过课文提到的 汽车对环境不利 ，倡导绿色出行，极探索新能源，激发学生想象力。
三、教学策略
本次教学的对象是八年级的学生，经过一个学年的英语学习，学生应该已经有一定的基础，能自由运用所学知识进行基本话题的交流。 且本单元的话题及本课任务设定应符合他们的兴趣。但由于种种原因，整个年级英语学科很薄弱，学生的基础差，开口能力和动手能力都不强。对英语也不太有兴趣，所以针对此情况，我的设计比较简单，逐项完成训练，多给予图文及语言引导，最终达到教学目的。
本课侧重培养学生的表达能力，培养学生熟练运用所学功能用语谈论交通方式。利用多媒体，创设情景，培养学生直接用英语理解和思维的能力。在具体教学过程中始终将学生置于主体地位，使他们不停的动脑子将零散的语言组织到一起，并积极表达出来，达到培养和强化学生的语言实践能力。
通过两两对话及小组任务型活动培养学生互相合作的学习方法，这种合作有两层含义：一是行动上的合作，二是知识资源共享和思想方法的合作；3、通过设置情景，以情景带动语言，培养学生使用语言的能力和交际能力。
