I didn’t have an answer, but the thought kept me smiling all the way home.Later that evening, I sat down with my little sister and we started talking about our favorite foods. She’s only six, so she has some funny ideas about food. Suddenly, she asked me, “Why do we need to eat vegetables? They don’t even taste good.” Ithought for a moment. Honestly, I wasn’t sure how to explain it to her, but I didn’t want to just say, “Because mom says so!”So, I told her, “Well, vegetables help us stay strong and healthy.
