宾语从句是一种名词性从句,在句子中起名词的作用。

在句子作及物动词、介词或形容词的宾语。

Eg:1、He told me (that) he felt ill.(作及物动词的宾语)2、I`m surprised (that) you didn`t hear about it before. (作形容词的宾语)3.I`m curious at what he will say. (作介词的宾语)一、宾语从句的连接词。

1、that 在从句中无词汇意义,不能充当句子成分,在口语和非正式文体中可以省略。

如:He said (that ) he wanted to stay at home.I`m sure (that) he will succeed.2、if和whether 在句子的意思是“是否”,但不充当成分。

一般情况下两者可以互换,不同的是whether后可接or not, 而if一般不与or not 连用。

Eg: (1)I don`t know if/ whether you can help me.(2)I wonder whether it is true or not.3、连接代词who, whom, whose, what, which在句子有词义,并且充当从句中的主语、宾语、表语、定语。

I wonder what he`s writing to me . (宾语)He asked whose handwriting was the best. (定语)连词副词where,when, how, why 在句子有词义,并且充当从句中的状语。
