本课是第二册Module2.Unit1中的内容，我借助“任务型”教学采用多样化的教学手段将听、说、读、练、演、唱溶于一体，激发学生学习英语的兴趣和愿望，使学生通过合作学习体验到荣誉感和成就感而树立信心。
逐步提高运用英语来进行简单交际的能力。
2、教材的地位，作用及前后联系：本教材是应素质教育而编写的，它适应于现代社会生活。
本课在整体内容中也占有重要地位。
它既是对前面内容的巩固，深入，也是为下一课内容做好准备，起到承上启下的作用。
