教学内容
本课教学内容分为Vocabulary and reading 和Writing两大板块，前一板块是
重点，短文部分是这一课的核心内容，词汇、句型和语法知识点，为必须掌握的
学习内容，同时围绕短文设计有说、读、写等的联系；后一板块在已学知识的基
础之上，围绕本课的主题对学生的写作能力进行训练。
教学设想
学生对本课主题较为熟悉，因此根据本课的安排，先完成Activity 1~2的教
学任务，并给Activity 1中的这些“业余爱好”配上相应的图画，让图画帮助学生
理解和学习这些词汇；接着通过对一些“业余爱好”特征的描述，引出Activity 2
中形容词的学习；继而快速阅读课文，回答与短文内容相关的问题，并详细地学
习和理解短文，并完成Activity 4~5的练习。对于写作板块，根据各项要求完成
相关练习。

Step 1:Leading-in.
1. Greetings.
2. 学生就本课的标题谈自己的感性和看法。
教师对学生的发言进行归纳和总结，并简单述说自己对标题的理解，正式进
入本课的学习。
Step 2:Pre-task.
1. 教师让学生仔细观察教材中Page4右下角的图片，然后根据Activity1的要求
说出图画中所包含的“业余爱好”的英语表达：climbing, growing vegetables ,
mountain biking, painting。教师提醒学生：这些单词都为动名词形式，具有名
词功能，都表示某一项具体的活动。
先带领学生理解和熟悉Activity2方框中的五个形容词，尤其注意新词汇
creative, lazy, useful: creative是由动词create后加上后缀构成的形容词，意为“具
有创造力的”； lazy意为“懒惰的”，其反义词为hard, hardworking；useful为动
词use跟后缀-ful构成的形容词，意为“有用的、有益的”。
学生熟悉这些形容词后，再联系Activity1中”业余爱好”的词汇进行教学：让
学生用方框中或其他未涉及的词汇来描述这些“业余爱好”所具有的特征或带来
的好处。

根据课堂时间，安排一些学生对部分业余活动进行描述，教师可做启发和指
导，并对学生的叙述进行总结。
Step 3:While-task.
1. 让学生听短文录音，回答短文后的4个问题。
2. 教授Activity3的这篇短文，勾出其中的重点单词、短语和句型并举例加以说
明：
（1） 短语such as 意为“例如、比如、诸如“，用来列举同类人或事物中的几个
例子。注意联系for example, like和as进行教学，理解和掌握它们的区别。
（2） 新词develop, skill, camp,分别举例并加以说明。
（3） 句型结构“spend+时间+on+名词或动词的- ing ”表示“花时间在……上（干
某事）”。
（4） 短语as well as意为“除……之外、还有、而且”，应做重点讲解，并联系
as well进行教学。
（5） 单词activity, valuable, interest, pleasure, success, skill的基本含义级用法；
动词短语come out意为“出版、出现、结果是”；as a result为表示结果的
连接词，注意跟as a result of, so(that)联系起来教学。
（6） 名词enjoyment 跟动词enjoy 、形容词enjoyable，名词success跟形容词
successful、动词succeed分别联系起来教学；should 作为情态动词，表示
“应当、应该”之意，跟shall相区别，应举例加以说明。
3. 熟悉短文后，让学生跟读录音，然后全班齐声朗读。
4. 指导学生依次完成Activity3~4的问答练习。
Step 4:Post-task.
1. 完成“词汇和阅读”板块的教学任务后，进入“写作”板块:先引导学生学习
“Learning to learn”部分的内容，启发学生注意相近的词汇和句子，并找出短
文中的词汇及句子。
2. 根据Activity6中提供的信息，完成相关练习。
3. 同桌之间自由对话，谈论对方的业余爱好，并做好记录，然后根据题目要求
和课堂时间，让学生在课堂上完成写作练习，安排为课后作业。
4. 带领学生回顾、复习本节课的重点及难点。
Step5: Homework.
1. 抄写本课的单词和短语。
2. 背诵短文。
3. 复习本课所学词汇。

和检验学生的词汇量。另外，对于短文中出现的词汇、短语及句型，在本课教学
设计中只是将它们列举出来，教师在教学中应详细加以介绍和说明，让学生能理
解透彻并掌握牢固，其中的部分词汇、短语还应联系已学过的相关知识进行区分。
由于本节课教学任务较重，Activity 7的写作练习可安排为课后作业。
