Module 9 Unit 1 Do you want to visit the UN building?教学设计一、教材分析本课属于“人与社会”主题范畴中“历史、社会与文化”这一主题群，涉及子主题“中外名胜古迹的相关知识和游览体验”。
课文主要讲述Simon的爸爸带着Simon和Daming参观联合国大厦。
Daming发现联合国大厦非常雄伟，大厦前飘扬着各会员国的国旗，其中也包括中国。
Simon的爸爸告诉他们，联合国现在有193个会员国。
进入大厦以后，Simon带Daming去看了中国送给联合国的礼物——成昆铁路的象牙雕塑，上面还有一列火车。
Daming想为这美丽的雕塑拍照留念。
主要复习一般现在时的用法，运用一般现在时态谈论意愿，介绍某景点或城市的特性。

Module 9 Unit 1 A visit to the UN一、学情分析英语课程要面向全体学生,注重素质教育,特别强调要关注每个学生的情感,激发他们学习英语的兴趣,帮助他们建立学习的成就感和自信心,使他们在学习过程中发展综合语言运用能力,提高人文素养,增强实践能力,培养创新精神,努力让学生放眼世界,扩大视野,更多地涉猎英语国家的文化背景、历史传统、人文地理等,在学习英语国家的文化的同时,培养学生对中华文化的了解和热爱。
本人担任六年级2班的英语教学，通过几年的学习,六年级的学生们对英语已经有了一定的了解,具备了一定得英语学习能力，掌握了一些日常对话用语和一定量的词汇。
但是仍然有一部分学生对学习英语有一定的困难，两极分化比较严重。
二、教材分析本单元主要围绕D am ing在美国的见闻这一主题,谈论可能要做的事情的话题。
通过本单元的学习,进一步复习巩固一般现在时等以前学习的内容;扩展学习谈论可能要做的事情的话题。
同时,使学生了解联合国的由来,培养学生热爱祖国、热爱和平的高尚品德以及具有远大的理想。
