The first time, he had narrowly escaped with his life. This time, however, he was not so lucky. The bullet had pierced his lung, and he was fighting for his life.The news of the assassination attempt spread like wildfire, and people were outraged. The police launched an investigation, but it seemed that the killer had left no clues behind. The politician's family was in shock, and the entire country was in a state of shock. How could this happen? Who would want to kill a politician who was working for the good of the people?As the days passed, the politician's condition deteriorated. His family and friends kept a constant vigil by his bedside, praying for his recovery. The police worked tirelessly to find the killer, but their efforts were in vain. The killer had vanished into thin air.Finally, after several weeks of fighting for his life, the politician passed away. The entire nation was in mourning. The killer had not only taken the life of a politician but had also shattered the hopes and dreams of millions of people. The country was in a state of chaos, and people were demanding justice.The police continued their investigation, and finally,after several months, they were able to catch the killer.It turned out that he was a hired assassin, paid by a rival politician to eliminate his opponent. The killer was brought to justice, and the politician's family finally got the closure they needed.In conclusion, the second assassination was a tragic event that shook the entire nation. It was a reminder that violence and hatred have no place in our society. We must work together to build a better world, where everyone can live in peace and harmony.。

While still a student I was surprised to find the history of thought always written merely as a history of philosophical systems, never as the history of man’s effort to arrive at a conception of the universe.
