笔者认为,小组合作学习方式有助于解决以上问题。

小组合作学习自20世纪70年代中期兴起以来,已成为世界范围内的主流教改策略,是目前许多国家普遍采用的一种富有创意和实效的教学理论和策略。

它在改善课堂内的社会心理气氛、大面积提高学生的学业成绩、促进学生形成良好的品质等方面效果显著。

它充分体现了素质教育的理念:使课堂教学面向全体学生;使每个学生都积极参与并乐在其中;使学生学会合作;培养学生通过独立思考、共同探究来主动解决问题的能力。

在英语教学中,小组合作学习较多地运用于课堂口语训练和难题的讨论,而在英语写作这一难度较大的教学环节却应用得很少。

究其原因,众多教师认为难以操作。

本文对运用小组合作学习方法进行初中英语写作教学进行了探讨,并阐述了如何运用捆绑式评价调动学生的学习积极性。

二、小组的形成和组员的分工根据多元智能理论和学生的学习水平及性格特点,笔者将全班学生按座位的就近原则分组,前后4人或5~6人为一组,做到“组内异质,组间同质”。

每个小组的组员再根据学业水平的不同进行编号(a、b、c……),编号的目的是在作文评价阶段,便于不同组内同一编号的学生代表自己的小组进行组间比较。

组内选举一个小组长,小组长不一定英语学得最好,但要公正、热情、有威信,并愿意为大家服务。

组员的分工由小组长负责(教师协助),根据组员的智能优势和语言水平分配不同的工作。

小组长可以兼任责任人,其责任是分配学习任务,组织小组活动,协调组员关系,协助每个责任人履行各自的职责,统计每个人的评价得分。

合作一段时期后,再轮换职责。

分工合作能“促使每个学生主动参与,以充分发挥自己的学习潜能,形成有效的学习策略,提高自主学习能力”(教育部,2003)。

三、小组合作的方法探究学生写不出高质量的作文原因是多方面的,其中重要的原因之一是学生写作缺乏支架(nunan, 2004)。

vygotsky(1978)认为,当学生的当前发展水平无法独立完成任务时,在成人或能力较强的同伴帮助下,他们可以达到潜在发展水平,并完成任务。

这种介于当前发展水平和潜在发展水平之间的区域就是最近发展区,成人或有能力的同伴的帮助就称为支架(康艳,2011)。

在传统的写作活动中,学生由于遇到问题时得不到帮助,没人为其搭建支架,导致其完不成写作任务。

而小组合作是生生互动、互助的学习过程,学生在合作交流、互帮互助中发挥各自智能优势,互相搭建支架,就可以达到最近发展区,完成学习任务。

合作步骤分为:写作过程合作→互批过程合作→评价过程合作。

1.运用小组合作写作解决作文中存在的问题写作开始前,教师首先向学生提供写作素材,然后指出作文中的常见问题。

针对这些问题,根据作文的篇章结构、语言知识提出讨论的内容要求和步骤。

具体分为以下几个阶段:(l)责任人准备。

讨论之前给学生留出3~5分钟的独立思考时间,以便责任人对自己负责的内容进行思考和整理,为将要进行的讨论做准备,不明白的地方可以咨询他人或教师。

此阶段由于思维尚未被激活,那些不能完全胜任的责任人可能羞于开口询问,此时需要组长鼓励他们主动问询,并为主动提问和提供帮助的人加分。

(2)小组合作写作。

教师根据作文的语篇结构和语言知识将讨论的内容分成下面的五部分,这五部分也是学生作文出现问题最多的地方。

学生通过讨论彼此借鉴,互相纠错,由此减少错误的发生。

具体步骤如下:①要点与内容拿到一篇作文的题目后,第一任务就是读题和审题,对材料进行分析,确定写作的内容和要点。

有的学生写作时总是漏掉要点,尽管词数很多,得分却不高;有些学生不知怎样寻找作文的要点,而有些文章的要点也的确难以把握,这就要发挥集体的作用,进行小组讨论。

现以淄博市2008年中考作文题为例来说明具体的操作方法。

阅读下列新闻(中央电视台播报):在成都崇州怀远镇中心学校有一位英语老师,他叫吴忠红。

12号下午发生地震时,正在上课的吴忠红立刻指挥楼里犯个班的700多名学生快速撤离。

当听说有两名学生掉队,他又义无反顾地从三楼返回四楼,就在这个时候教学楼整体垮塌,掩埋了吴忠红和两名学生。

四层教学楼一片废墟,16岁的高中生吴楠还在守望着废墟里的父亲……听了这则报道之后,你一定会深受感动。

请给吴忠红的家人写一封信,表述一下你的心情。

信的内容不要涉及你的学校和姓名。

词数:80~100。

读完作文题,首先要确定写作要点,而这篇文章的要点很不明晰,要求是“写封信,表心情”,不少学生不知从何处着手写。

此时就要发挥集体的作用,进行小组讨论。

首先,负责内容与要点的责任人谈谈对这一部分内容的意见,例如:文章应分几个要点来写,主要写什么内容。

责任人说完后,大家的思维被激活,组内其他组员轮流发表见解,相互补充。

其间,责任人要记录每人发言中有价值的内容、每人发言的次数等,作为互评阶段打分的依据。

然后责任人归纳组内意见并提交讨论内容。

在教师的指导下,全班最后确定写作要点为以下三个方面:a.简单描述报道内容;b.描述自己的心情;c.给予吴楠安慰和鼓励。

要点确定后,责任人除了自己详细记录外,还要督促大家做好提纲式的记录,并检查后进生,确保不遗漏重点。
