Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is with a heart full of gratitude and a mind brimming with memories that I stand before you today to deliver this speech on behalf of my fellow graduates. As we come to the end of our academic journey, it is fitting that we reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to the future.First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest appreciation to the faculty members who have been our guiding stars throughout this journey. Your unwavering commitment to our education, your passion for teaching, and your willingness to go above and beyond to help us succeed have been truly inspiring. We have learned not only the subjects we studied but also the importance of perseverance, critical thinking, and ethical behavior. To our parents and families, we owe you an immense debt of gratitude. Your love, support, and sacrifices have been the foundation upon which we have built our academic and personal lives. Your belief in us has been the driving force that has pushed us to strive for excellence. Today, we stand here as a testament to your unwavering faith in us.Our classmates, you have been our companions, our competitors, and our friends. The bonds we have formed over the years have been some of the most precious memories we will carry with us. Your laughter, your tears, and your shared experiences have made this journey unforgettable. As we embark on our separate paths, we will always cherish the friendships we have forged here. Now, let us reflect on the past. We have come a long way since we first stepped onto this campus. We have faced challenges, overcome obstacles, and grown both academically and personally. We have had moments of triumph and moments of defeat, but each experience has contributed to our character and made us who we are today. Our education has been more than just learning facts and figures; it has been about developing a holistic perspective of the world. We have learned about history, science, literature, and the arts, and we have come to understand that knowledge is not just about accumulation butalso about application. We have learned to think critically, to analyze situations from multiple perspectives, and to make informed decisions. As we celebrate our achievements today, we must also acknowledge the lessons we have learned. We have learned that success is not measured by the grades we receive or the accolades we earn, but by the impact we have on others and the positive changes we bring to the world. We have learned that true leadership is about inspiring others to be their best selves, not about wielding power over them.Looking ahead, we find ourselves at a crossroads. The world is changing rapidly, and with it, the opportunities and challenges we will face. We must be prepared to adapt, to learn, and to grow. We must be ready to embrace change and to take risks, for it is through risk that wediscover our true potential. As we step into the workforce or continue our studies, we must remember that we are not just graduates of a university; we are citizens of the world. We have a responsibility to use our knowledge and skills to makea positive difference in the lives of others. We must be agents of change, advocating for social justice, environmental sustainability, and global peace. In closing, I would like to share a few words of advice with my fellow graduates. First, never underestimate the power of your dreams. Believein yourself, and you will achieve greatness. Second, always be alifelong learner. The world is constantly evolving, and it is our responsibility to keep up with the pace. Third, be kind and compassionate. The smallest acts of kindness can have a profound impact on the lives of others. As we leave this institution, we carry with us the knowledge, the skills, and the experiences that have prepared us for the challenges ahead. Dear graduating class of 2023,As we gather here today, surrounded by friends, family, and faculty, we can't help but feel a mix of emotions - excitement for the future, nostalgia for the memories we've made, and gratitude for the experiences that have shaped us. Today is a significant milestone in our lives - the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance, and growth. I am honored to stand before you as your fellow classmate and deliver this speech on behalf of the graduating class of 2023.First and foremost, I want to congratulate each and every one of you for reaching this pivotal moment in our lives. It hasn't been an easy journey, but here we are, on the cusp of a new chapter. As we reflect on our time at this institution, we can't help but be grateful for the opportunities we've been given, the friendships we've formed, and the knowledge we've acquired. We've laughed together, studied together, and overcome obstacles together. And now, as we prepare to step out into the world, we carry with us the lessons and memories that will guide us in the years to come. Looking back on our time here, it's clear that we've grown in more ways than one. We've not only expanded our minds with new knowledge, but we've also developed into more well-rounded individuals. We've learned the value of hard work, the importance of perseverance, and the power of resilience. We've faced challenges head-on, and we've emerged stronger and more capable as a result. Each of us has a unique story to tell, but collectively, our stories weave together to form the tapestry of our class - atapestry that reflects the diversity, the strength, and the potential of our collective experiences. As we stand on the precipice of the future, it's natural to feel a mix of excitement and apprehension. We're about to embark on a new journey, one that is filled with unknowns and uncertainties. But let me remind you that we are more than equipped to face whatever lies ahead. We have been shaped by our experiences, our education, and our interactions with one another. We have the knowledge, the skills, and the passion to take on the challenges that await us. And although the path may be fraught with obstacles, I am confident that we will navigate it with grace and determination.I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to our families, friends, and faculty who have supported us every step of the way. Our loved ones have been our pillars of strength, offering us guidance, encouragement, and unconditional love. They have celebrated our triumphs and comforted us in our struggles. And our teachers and mentors have played a crucial role in shaping our academic and personal growth. They have instilled in us a love for learning, challenged us to think critically, and inspired us to reach for the stars. Let us take a moment to show our appreciation for their unwavering support and dedication. As we prepare to leave this institution, let us not forget the values and ideals that have been instilled in us during our time here. Let us always strive for excellence in whatever we do, let us approach challenges with resilience and determination, and let us never lose sight of the importance of compassion, empathy, and integrity. As we venture out into the world, let us be mindful of the impact wecan have on those around us – let us strive to be forces for good, catalysts for positive change, and ambassadors for inclusivity and understanding. In closing, I want to leave you with a quote from Nelson Mandela: "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." As we stand on the threshold of the future, armed with the knowledge and experiences that we've gained, let us remember the power that we hold to effect change in our communities, our societies, and our world. Let us go forth with courage, with conviction, and with a steadfast commitment to make the world a better place.Congratulations, graduating class of 2023. Opportunities and ChallengesFirst, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of op portunity.”Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 2008 Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more pe ople will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 2008 Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And min e is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others. At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, and everyone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges. Hello, everyone.I don't know how to express my feeling now. I don't know whether I'm happy or sad. Today we'll be apart. From now on we'll never study together, never laugh together.I've been in Cambridge Young English School for three years. I've learned a lot here. I got to know what's english and how to read english. Teacher Li was hard because of us. We didn't listen to him when he began to teach us. And he couldn't do anything else but shout Attention!Teacher Li is great. Remember, Teacher Pi said, phonogram is difficult to spell. And he would only ask us to dictionary when hewas tied. Instesd T e Li could spell it. It's really admirable. I love Teacher's reading, nice although not better than .How time flys. I'm going to graduate. Dense book notes that left me the best gift, which not only gave me the knowledge, but gave me a lot of fun. I would like to thank Mu Shenghui. I admire his notes and his achievements. I am happy to be his deckmate.Wish everyone can pave a perfect road with English. Come on, everybody!Thank you!

1i am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. i never graduated from college. truth be told, this is the closest i've ever gotten to a college graduation.today i want to tell you three stories from my life. that's it. no big deal. just three stories.the first story is about connecting the dots.i dropped out of reed college after the first 6 months, but then stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before i really quit. so why did i drop out?it started before i was born. my biological mother was a young, unwed college graduate student, and she decided to put me up for adoption. she felt very strongly that i should be adopted by college graduates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife. except that when i popped out they decided at the last minute that they really wanted a girl. so my parents, who were on a waiting list, got a call in the middle of the night asking: "we have an unexpected baby boy; do you want him?" they said: "of course." my biological mother later found out that my mother had never graduated from college and that my father had never graduated from high school. she refused to sign the final adoption papers. she only relented a few months later when my parents promised that i would someday go to college.and 17 years later i did go to college. but i naively chose a college that was almost as expensive as stanford, and all of my working-class parents' savings were being spent on my collegetuition. after six months, i couldn't see the value in it. i had no idea what i wanted to do with my life and no idea how college was going to help me figure it out. and here i was spending all of the money my parents had saved their entire life. so i decided to drop out and trust that it would all work out ok. it was pretty scary at the time, but looking back it was one of the best decisions i ever made. the minute i dropped out i could stop taking the required classes that didn't interest me, and begin dropping in on the ones that looked interesting.it wasn't all romantic. i didn't have a dorm room, so i slept on the floor in friends' rooms, i returned coke bottles for the 5 deposits to buy food with, and i would walk the 7 miles across town every sunday night to get one good meal a week at the hare krishna temple. i loved it. and much of what i stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on. let me give you one example: reed college at that time offered perhaps the best calligraphy instruction in the country. throughout the campus every poster, every label on every drawer, was beautifully hand calligraphed. because i had dropped out and didn't have to take the normal classes, i decided to take a calligraphy class to learn how to do this. i learned about serif and san serif typefaces, about varying the amount of space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography great. it was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science can't capture, and i found it fascinating.none of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life. but ten years later, when we were designing the first macintosh computer, it all came back to me. and we designed it all into the mac. it was the first computer with beautiful typography. if i had never dropped in on that single course incollege, the mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts. and since windows just copied the mac, its likely that no personal computer would have them. if i had never dropped out, i would have never dropped in on this calligraphy class, and personal computers might not have the wonderful typography that they do. of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when i was in college. but it was very, very clear looking backwards ten years later.again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. so you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. you have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. this approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.my second story is about love and loss.i was lucky – i found what i loved to do early in life. woz and i started apple in my parents garage when i was 20. we worked hard, and in 10 years apple had grown from just the two of us in a garage into a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees. we had just released our finest creation - the macintosh - a year earlier, and i had just turned 30. and then i got fired. how can you get fired from a company you started?well, as apple grew we hired someone who i thought was very talented to run the company with me, and for the first year or so things went well. but then our visions of the future began to diverge and eventually we had a falling out. when we did, our board of directors sided with him. so at 30 i was out. and very publicly out. what had been the focus of my entire adult life was gone, and it was devastating.i really didn't know what to do for a few months. i felt that ihad let the previous generation of entrepreneurs down - that i had dropped the baton as it was being passed to me. i met with david packard and bob noyce and tried to apologize for screwing up so badly. i was a very public failure, and i even thought about running away from the valley. but something slowly began to dawn on me – i still loved what i did. the turn of events at apple had not changed that one bit. i had been rejected, but i was still in love. and so i decided to start over.i didn't see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. the heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. it freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.during the next five years, i started a company named next, another company named pixar, and fell in love with an amazing woman who would become my wife.pixar went on to create the worlds first computer animated feature film, toy story, and is now the most successful animation studio in the world. in a remarkable turn of events, apple bought next, i retuned to apple, and the technology we developed at next is at the heart of apple's current renaissance. and laurene and i have a wonderful family together.i'm pretty sure none of this would have happened if i hadn't been fired from apple. it was awful tasting medicine, but i guess the patient needed it.sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. don't lose faith. i'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that i loved what i did.

We must say goodbye to our dear teacher, and we must say goodbye to our classmates. No campus corner has left our footprints. Wherever we go, whatever we see, we can evoke a string of memories.Thinking back three years ago, we came together with innocence and hope. We are energetic and enthusiastic, and we are full of vision and expectation for the future. In the past three years, we have been enjoying the intense and intense school life in the sweat and feeling the concern of the teacher. In the study, we are in the teachers inculcate teaching gradually sensible, in the teachers patient and meticulous teaching happy learning; in life, we are in the teachers care under the care of the healthy growth, in the teachers care to feel the warmth of the family. Thousands of words do not mean our friendship with teachers. We can not finish our lingering nostalgia for teachers. Three years of study and life, more than 1000 days and nights, a teacher and teacher to talk to the heart of the heart, there is a teachers enthusiastic guidance, by the school leadership of the teachings in the busy schedule. There are encouragement, criticism, communication and guidance, all of which are the most precious wealth in our hearts. The mid-term exam is, after all, the first most sacred test in our life, and its pressure can be imagined. You know, teacher, your affectionate gaze is our strongest dependence. I believe that all the sweat and ideals of hard work will be transformed into a good news report. Three years, the end of junior high school life, three years of life, such as knife like wind, such as sword, came hurriedly, also hurried, time leisurely, the years leisurely. In three years of life, you may be sad for yourself, to pain yourself, to hate yourself, or to blame the teacher, the teacher, the teacher, the drops of life, and the memory of us. We saw that Kay was sitting in a tight seat, enjoying his love in his work. The summer breeze is like a temple of old wine, the tree of Lin Yuan, the people of Lin Garden are a little drunk. Today we will take a small drunken step and take the old boat ticket with faith. We have the youth, we should dare to struggle, youth is the starting point of the dream, after you walk, you will find that my future is not a dream; youth is the capital of people, after you walk, you will find that the mature you will not be poor; youth is the platform of life, after walking, the heart of the dream will sail to the next station. Life is no more than a mountain, outside the Castle Peak outside the building, life is rich and free. Once we chased crazy, flock fighting, now when we know the courage to face, once did not understand the world, eat and drink pleasure, now should be the chair of needle felt, rock pavement, Enron never move. The writing of the pen is no longer wild and proud. It is written in a small brush. It is written in a small print. It is really exquisite and real. When we met again after many years, looking back at a smile, Yunlong brother was safe. I hope that each of us has a happy life, a tender smile, a bitter smile, and a long smile on the sky. I laugh from across the sky. Our hearts are beating, blood is burning again, come on, let us chase after the life that is full of anger. Finally, the future of Zhu Lin Garden will be more brilliant. 3irst of all, we must cultivate students interest in english study. let students in learning to find joy in joy in the interest of interest, found in the determination of decision and perseverance, namely train drivers + to + perserve = interest. of course started to learn english, dont be too hard. guiding students from the simple, funny, funny began to enable students to find suitable for their interest in learning. and they decide to "light" surveys. and allow students to go wrong, dont pursue every word is correct.secondly, the students have interest, help them to plan. watch english materials and listen to english radio, looking for learning environment, life is much, learn english and have much broader, take every chance to exposure to english. in class, students try to speak in english, usually between classmates exchange, encourage students to use english, dont be afraid of making mistakes the wrong. to establish weekly learning new words in the target, the vocabulary, records recorded all sorts of new words and phrases. because learning english must have vocabulary as thefoundation, will play a protracted war, remembering words to guerrilla warfare. can make them more "to" surveys.learning english as friends, in different occasions contact might remember, not isolated words and remember its neighbors. it is necessary to guide students to read, this of learning english is very important to have more understanding of western culture and western learning habit, master of language background is also an important way of learning. then two chinese ppc to achieve. we finally achieved the goal ", two surveys to two chinese to spending."finally, let students enjoy happiness in suffering, more study is interesting, from passive to active, change from me to learn to learn. 4Dear schoolmates,As I am graduating. We’ve seen ‘1,000-year floods’ hit the Midwestern and Southern United States multiple times in a decade. And we’ve seen record-breaking wildfires ravage California and record-breaking typhoons kill thousands in the Philippines. This is a true crisis. And if we fail to rise to the occasion, your generation, your children, and grandchildren will pay a terrible price. So scientists know there can be no delay in taking action – and many government and political leaders around the world are starting to understand that.Yet here in the United States, our federal government is seeking to become the only country in the world to withdrawfromthe Paris Climate Agreement – the only one. Not even North Korea is doing that. Those in Washington who deny the science of climate change are no more based in reality than those who believe the moon landing was faked. And while the moon landing conspiracy theorists are relegated to the paranoidcorners of talk radio, climate skeptics occupy the highest positions of power in the United States government. Now, in the administration’s defense, climate change, they say, is only a theory – yeah, like gravity is only a theory.People can ignore gravity at their own risk, at least until they hit the ground. But when they ignore the climate crisis, they are not only putting themselves at risk, they are putting all humanity at risk.。
