Now Iwill talk about the differences between them.The first difference is in appearance. Going around in the U.S., I found that American youth do not really care about their appearance. Lovers,actually, can't kiss or hold each other everywhere they want. People think that notshowing love in public places is a way to respect others. On the contrary, the Frenchyouth can do almost everything they want,and they are usually more concerned aboutthe future of the relationship than American youth.With regard to othet types of relationships ,there are also big differences.Americans act differently from French people in front of unknown people. When an American girl, for example, arrives in front of people she has never met before, she will talk with them, trying to create a kind of tie between her and this new circle of people. The French girls will just think about rather than really do this kind of thing because they are too shy and lacking in self-confidence.To finish, I noticed that in American classes, when pupils want to say or ask something, they just do it. In general, they don't really care how the others will judge them. In France, it's not the same case. If somebody wants to ask something, he/she will think about it before speaking up. 英译汉是英语和汉语两种语言之间的转化, 要求汉语准 确完整, 符合汉语的表达习惯, 因此, 考生在复习时也应 该注意训练自己的汉语表达能力。
例如, 有人把“Several research groups have prepared samples of this compound …” 翻译成“好几个科研小组 已经研制出这种化合物的标本……”,“标本”这一概念用于 生物学和医学中, 如动植物标本, 血液标本等。在化学中, sample指“样品”或“试样”。因此, 该句最好应翻译 为“几个科研小组已准备出这种化合物的样品……”。这 就要求考生在复习或应考时, 要注意充分利用自己已经 具有的百科知识。

大学英语四六级快速阅读冲刺技巧
快速阅读,就是在有限的时间内找到所需要的信息——既强调速度
(Speed)又强调准确度(Accuracy)。根据大纲要求,快速阅读主要考
察的技巧是查读(Scanning)和略读(Skimming)。 因为熟练掌握这两
种阅读方法,能够把阅读的目的更直接地投入到阅读的过程之中,从
而更有效 地提高阅读速度,同时提高阅读的准确度。因此,提高略
读和查读的能力,有助于我们平时学习时快速查找资料或自己所需要
的信息。 1) 略读步骤 所谓略读,顾每思义是一种省略的读法。略
读,能够让你以最快的速度阅读,选择性地遗漏某些细节内容,目的
是获得文章的主旨大意。在回答主旨题目的时候,略 读就能派上用
场。不仅如此,进行略读有助于我们了解文章的大意、作者的观点,
这样对我们做推论题也大有裨益。
这种选择性的阅读方法,特点是“省略细节找主旨”,注重对全文整
体内容的把握。但是,这里需要强调,“省略细节”是选择性的省略。
因为主旨也是可以从一些 细节中透露出来的,所以有些细节是有助
于我们掌握大意的。那么在略读的过程中,关键点就是更多地关注并
抓住文章中这些标志性的词句,例如文章的标题、章节 标题、斜体
字、黑体字、每段的开头和结尾、以及文章中能够代表观点的句子。
而其他的个别生词和介绍性质的语句(如说明时间、地点等的词汇)
则可以略过。
总之,在采用略读方法的时候,往往能够帮助我们确定:文章的主题
和作者的观点(属于主旨题),文章的结构和作者的风格(属于推论
题)。而在略读时,可以遵循以下步骤:
a。快速阅读文章第一、二段,抓住文章大意、背景和作者风格,因
为作者一般会在文章开头几段概述全文;
b。快速浏览找出每段的中心句和几件事实,抓住一两个关键词,如
果文中段落大意没有用一句话总结,就自己归纳出大意,在可能蕴含
全文主旨的部分进行仔细阅读;
c。注意转折词和序列词,有助于我们了解文章的脉络;d。省略不必
要的细节内容,从而追求最快的略读速度。
查读步骤
查读是以某个细节的关键词为目标,目光很快地扫过文章,直到发现
与问题
有关的文字,迅速锁定答案。在回答细节题目的时候(也就是我们通
常所说的五个“W”
和一个“H",即What,Who,When,Where,Why,How),查读
的效率之高就突显出来了。
这种有选择性的阅读,特点是“带着问题找答案”,也就是说,在阅
读文章之前就已经明白要回答什么样的问题,要找出什么方面的信
息,然后带着这些问题进行阅 读,在文章中找出某些具体的事实和
信息。就像我们查电话号码本一样,可以根据被查询者姓名的开头字
母,按字母顺序快速找出电话号码。
这种“带着问题找答案”的方法,关键点就在于要熟悉不同体裁文章
