一、课前准备课前准备包括两个方面：一是学生的预习。
二是教师的备课工作。
学生的课前预习至关重要。
首先，学生应认真回忆与即将学的课文中相关的会计基础知识，例如，《会计英语》（Accounting English）第一课，题目是An Introduction to Accounting（会计概述）。
学生可以翻开会计书本复习一下会计概述中相关的的定义、概念、常用术语、习惯表达方式等。
其次，找出课本单词短语表中相对应的专业知识的词汇和术语。

在预习的过程中了解第一课的文章是对会计的一个基本概述。
最后，找出预习过程中对第一课会计概述有疑问的地方，做上记号，课上老师讲解时认真听讲并做好相应的记录，只有这样学生才能学得扎扎实实。
第二个方面就是老师的课前准备，主要是备课，教师在备课的时候要把握好教学的进度，突出重点和难点，将英语和会计的知识完美的融合在一起。

摘要]高职会计专业教育是以为社会培养具备会计职业素质的高技能人才为目标的。
因此，会计专业英语教学应以培养学生能否独立阅读或编写以英语作表述的凭证、账册、报表、报告，及与就业单位外方人士就专业问题进行简单英语交流，能够学习西方会计知识等作为培养目标。

随着中国经济建设的迅猛发展，会计专业英语的教学显得尤为重要。
但对于高职会计类学生目前状况而言，他们普遍英语水平不高、会计专业能力底子不厚，授课教师真正上好这门课有相当的难度。
经过几年的教学实践，笔者总结出一些适合高职学生特点的会计专业英语教学方法及思路。
一、明确培养目标，提高学习兴趣
1.研究培养目标，选择适合教材
高职会计专业教育是以为社会培养具备会计职业素质的高技能人才为目标的。
因此，会计专业英语教学应以培养学生能否独立阅读或编写以英语作表述的凭证、账册、报表、报告，及与就业单位外方人士就专业问题进行简单英语交流，能够学习西方会计知识等作为培养目标。
教师选择教材时，就不能选用以阅读理解为主，强调翻译的教材。
应选择内容主要由会计凭证制作，账簿填写，会计报表编制等内容构成且伴有大量实例练习的教材，当然也应该含有西方会计背景知识和一
些会计分析指标介绍等内容。
2.树立学习目标，激发学习动力
学习目标是学习的出发点，也是学习的归宿。
确立具体明确的学习目标是本课程第一节课的重要任务。
目标越明确、越切合学生的实际情况，其学习行动中的每一次努力越能够获得成功。
在成功中体验学习的喜悦，学习过程也就充满了活力、激情和意义。
二、创新教学方法，提升教学水平
在大力提倡实施素质教育的今天，教师在教学过程中必须不断更新与运用各种教学手段以激发学生学习的主动性和积极性。
教师应潜心研究适合学生特点的教学方法以提高他们的学习本门课程的兴趣，指导学生掌握正确的学习会计英语方法，使学生既有坚实的基础知识又有举一反三、触类旁通的分析和解决问题的能力。
可以因材施教，实行启发式，讨论式教学，鼓励学生独立思考，培养学生创新意识。
1.注重专业词汇学习，善用启发式教学
我们都知道英语词汇的掌握是学好英语的基础，会计专业英语的学习也不例外。
但会计英语专业词汇普遍拼写长，词义变化多，课堂上逐一解释第一浪费时间，第二由于过程枯燥而导致效果不好。
授课教师应在注意多重复，多练习的同时，用一些单词记忆法引导启发学生事半功倍的掌握单词。
如学生在遇到有相似或相近的词时,往往会使其原有记忆受到干扰，这时授课教师可事先将意义相近、词形相像的重点术语整理出来，然后利用专业术语间渊源关系，采用归纳记忆法,将这
些词加以归纳、整理、辨析。
例如，在第一堂课中应该以“account”为中心，归纳可能在以后单元才出现的相关术语，让同学们利用过去所学的会计知识，对比猜想记忆，举一反三，增强学习的信心。
