Let’s learn主要通过孩子们郊游的场景呈现本课时四会单词thinner、heavier、bigger、smaller、stronger。
Match and say是一个活动，主要通过描述并比较孩子们钓到的鱼的特征来复习形容词比较级，以达到灵活运用语言的目的。
知识目标1．能够听、说、读、写四会单词：thinner，heavier，bigger，smaller，stronger；2．能够灵活运用形容词比较级描述人或物的特征。
能力目标培养学生的观察能力和灵活运用所学知识的能力。
情感目标培养学生对英语的兴趣，让学生爱上英语。
教学重点能够掌握四会单词thinner、heavier、bigger、smaller、stronger。
教师教读四会单词，学生跟读并反复练习，掌握其发音；然后教师示范书写，学生仿写，掌握其书写要领；最后学生分小组完成听写任务，各小组长负责监督。
教学难点能够用形容词比较级描述人或物的特征。
教育学生多观察身边的人和事物，并用所学词汇描述其特征，不断创造运用语言的机会。
同时让学生分组练习，对组上的成员或各成员的物品进行比较，以突破难点。
