Day 3 Life on the farm
1.呈现一张农场图片，边介绍边引导学生展开想象。
T:What do people often do on the farm?学生分组讨论，请2~3个小组派代表汇报讨论成果。
教师将要点记录下来。
如：clean the room, go fishing, watch TV等。
2.教师出示课本挂图，学生注意观察。
3.学生根据图片提示圈出字谜中的单词。
4.仿照例句，写出他/她/他们每天所做的事情。
5.教师出示答案，确保学生填入准确无误。
6.T:These people are having fun on t he farm. What are they doing? Let’s look at the picture. 出示课本P44右下角挂图，学生观察图片并分组讨论图片中的人物正在进行的活动，将结果记录下来。
教师请学生描述一下。
最后核对答案。
Day 4 Mike’s day on the farm
1.上面我们了解了农场上的人日常活动，我们的小伙伴Mike去农场玩又做了哪些有趣的事情呢？
2.出示一组吃美食、拖地、钓鱼、看书、上网、睡觉的图片，请学生猜一猜说出相应的英语。
课件呈现或板书答案。
3.让学生观察课本一组Mike的活动图片，完成文段填空。
4.请一名学生起来读出文段，教师注意纠正发音，并核对答案。
5.呈现Mike在农场的活动图片，引导学生以时间为序复述Mike周六一天在农场的活动情况。
6. T:Now read about Mike and Bill’s game.
(1)播放本部分课文录音，学生跟读。
(2)学生自读课文，理解课文内容和游戏规则。
可两人一组练习课文对话。
(3)师生一起回顾比较级的句型：A+be+比较级+than+B。
(4)教师准备老虎、大象和鲸三张图片，学生两人一组玩课文中的猜谜游戏。
注意调换图片的出场次序。
(5)请3~5组学生上台表演，师生共同参与，评出“最佳表演奖”。
